Excellent king bed and very good location. Value for money given priciness of newer and more flash apartments nearby. The managers responded to minor requests fairly promptly. Secure under cover parking. Heated pool.

We were issued one key and locked ourselves out on first day. The reception is closed on weekends and the 'emergency mobile number' NEVER responded. After an hour or so someone turned up at reception. The emergency number should function at all times. Also on weekends with no reception, swimming towels should be left in units. The apartment is older style and needs some maintenance - doors that don't shut properly, blind fittings. However for price, unit was good.

Lack of communication. We arrived on a Sunday morning early. Thought we’d check out the location and see if we could get an early check in. I understand normally it’s 2pm. No number to call apart from emergency. A passing guest gave me the Belle number. They assured me an instruction email would be sent…still waiting! Returned after 2pm and another guest pointed to the key envelope at reception, which I wouldn’t have seen

Great location! Washing machine in the room was excellent so we could do washing. Check in was easy. BBQ facilities were excellent and handy having a self contained unit to do some cooking wt the apartments.

The rooms were dated and old. The bathroom floor gets so wet when showering. The small bath mats don’t soak any water up and the bath mats don’t dry because of the weather. The dryer didn’t work. We finally got it working with 1 piece of clothing in it but couldn’t do more items at once. Small clothes drying rack was handy but would be better with a bigger one.

We arrived late afternoon and the reception was closed but found an envelope with our name on it with keys & instructions. Lovely clean apartment, great location with everything in walking distance. Safe parking in the basement. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I even managed to do some laundry. Would definitely stay again.

Toiletries supplied but only enough for one person, for one day, certainly not 3. Also, the supply of coffee in sachets were black & and solid, so it was not able to be consumed. Coffee bags would be much better.

Loved the size of the rooms, facilities of laundry,balcony location nearest the pool. Parking was great as it had its own garage. Owners were lovely and understanding.

Cleaning in bathroom and loo could have been better..grout needed a good scrubbing..bit icky!! Instructions about how to navigate the use of the electric stove top.

This was the third time we stayed at the Tropic Apartments. Very good location. Handy short walk to beach, restaurants etc. Spacious apartment with everything you need. The secure garaged car parking was a great bonus.

It wasn’t really an issue for us but the loo door was difficult to shut, the same with the entrance door. Mentioned this to receptionist and hopefully it’ll be fixed for next guests.

Although we did not see or speak to anyone from reception upon arrival, during stay or when leaving, everything was arranged very well. It was absolute mutual trust. The apartment had everything we needed (and more: washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, including some washing powder!, Netflix!) for a couple of days. We stayed in a number of apartments during our stay in Australia, but this one was the most complete, albeit a bit out-of-date.

The gardens. Away from the busy part of the resort. Felt homely

No contact with staff. The apartment felt tired needed a number of repairs. - broken lock on toilet door, poor drainage from the bath room sink, poor fitting units. units, shortage of classes and mugs

Great location just back from the waterfront but easy stroll to the restaurants, beach etc. The pool area was lovely with slightly heated pool (nice because it was winter). Private outdoor dining area overlooking greenery. It has secure, undercover parking .Thoughtful inclusions like washing powder for the washing machine etc..

Was in a good location away from the hustle of the main street and great stocked kitchen. Room was very spacious.

Staff nowhere to be seen but checkin was really easy with great instructions left for us. Washing machine leaked when we washed our clothes so we needed to watch it carefully.
