Quirky pictures on the walls, Staff were fab! Hotel bar was fully stocked and catered to our needs. Our Mini fridge stocked with complimentary drinks, including IronBru and water. Hotel Was good location easy to walk round the corner maybe 5 minutes max, for the train station getting us in and out Edinburgh for Oasis and the military tattoo! Quiet so you had a decent night sleep, comfy bed provided shampoo!

Had no fan, and being an old building our room was boiling seeing as we chose the week of the heatwave to visit! Opening the window did nothing.. and Only getting one towel each, sometimes one towel isn’t enough after a shower, so could possibly provide 2 shower towels and maybe a hand towel

Well located, was there for work to start my little boy joined me over the weekend and the staff were absolutely amazing, If you want a great weekend then this is the place to be, amazing staff, vibrant atmosphere, great food and the live music is just first class. If you don’t like having a great time then don’t go here… Maid service was consistent and to good standards

I travel the entire UK with work and I only have this to complain about, trust me I like complaining… Down side is there isn’t enough towels in the room, what I stock piled got removed, I had 1 bath towel between 2……… The room was clean, the bathroom lacked shelving to put anything on but your stay is minimum so shouldn’t be much of a problem.

The hotel room was basic but very cosy and the bed was very comfortable, room also very clean and tidy. Even though it is over a pub, this did not cause me any concerns, through lack of sleep or noisy revelers. I don't drink alcohol and wouldn't sit in the bar but the bar had a lovely atmosphere as I passed through, going in and out. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially the girl who checked me in and out.. Leanne I think was her name.. sorry if that's wrong. Excellent location in the town.. very close to train station and town centre. Room price also good, especially for during the school holidays. I will definitely stay again, I did not try the food but definitely will next time. Thanks for a lovely stay. Liam.

Excellent position in Falkirk. Only 10min from The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. With both being a must see location. Stirling Castle is only a 30min drive away and shouldn’t be missed. The bistro food was very good and the pub was quite lively. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Car parking is available. If in the area I would use it again.

Bathroom hand basin draining was very slow. An unsightly liquid stain on the wall in the bedroom. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance.

I loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were and how welcoming the atmosphere felt when you first entered just wish I had a meal one of the nights I stopped but definitely will be coming back soon

I stayed longer than expected, and the only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the room like I had 3 different rooms during my stay, and the duvets always had marks and the second room I had to ask for the bedding to be changed as it had a horrible dark green mark all over it 🤢 and the floors and units were a bit dirty and the cups in the rooms had horrible marks so never used them

Good location near rail station, town centre shops, takeaways, pubs etc. Also located above excellent pub and bistro. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed comfortable room. Great easy to use shower. Mini fridge in room with complimentary water and soft drinks. Good value!

Very little not to like. Would be nice to have more easily accessible power sockets - maybe add a power strip / multi socket so that you don’t have to move and reach behind the bedside cabinet and unplug kettle.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the Staff was exceptional, making us welcome, booking local taxis and recommending local breakfast eateries for our needs, as at present the Hotel does not provide breakfasts. En-suite facilities and homely, historical related items well displayed in the Bar/Lounge areas. Free Parking at the rear of the Hotel.

More an observation than a dislike, the Hotel is an old property with the incumbent examples of use over time, but did not detract from our stay.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. The Sunday roast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Nothing to dislike! The hotel doesn’t do breakfast at the moment and you can’t fault them for this due to their number of rooms/guests per night. The cost of this wouldn’t justify the running costs to provide this. There are more than plenty options for breakfast within a few minutes walk.

We arrived early were not meant to get access till 3pm but let us in at 12 noon all staff were lovely to deal with food was delicious hotel in a gteat site for access to shops etc

Bed was lumpy shower door to close to sink kept bashing of basin you had to be normal sized to get in shower anyone of a large capacity would not be able to gain access to shower no batteries in remote for t v i reported this and 4 hrs later chose to buy batteries myself

Great location for us,dog friendly, Bistro on site, food lovely, staff friendly and great service. Room was fine, bed comfy,plenty of pillows, TV, good WiFi, tea and coffee facilities. Hair dryer in room. Carparking on site so no stress of finding a space.

Only thing was no breakfast service, would have been handy for us with being a Sunday morning, however a MacDonalds near so had food there.Next time would bring something with me so not a major issue.
