Location was perfect. Supermarkets just across the street. Various eating establishments to choice from nearby, Baptist church just across and up 1 store. 4 minutes on a Straight road then only 2 turns and we were at the KCC venue we had to go to, several times a day. Quiet area, comfy beds, soft towels, working aircon so room was cosy warm, jug, microwave, mini fridge with freezer and crockery. Perfect for quick easy meals.

When we scanned the compendium sign it was supposed to tell us the wifi password but neither of us saw anything. However a quick phone call to the office and it was all sorted.

The location is fantastic. It is halfway between the train station and the main lookouts. Supermarkets and all other shops are just across the street. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. The room was great. The bed was comfy with nice, clean sheets. The bathroom and kitchenette were generally clean. The style matches the price.

The only thing was a black mould corner of the bathroom above the shower. The trim above the shower was pretty worn down and would benefit from replacement.

The location was awesome, walkable distance to all shops and RSL. The room was spacious, they are old style which is fine as it’s Katoomba. There was air conditioning and all the kitchen basics, toaster, jug, microwave and real plates not paper and cutlery not wooden which was fantastic!

The only issue we had was on our first night with the sound of the doors of other rooms being closed very loudly and it was constant, don’t know what was going on, the second night was better though. We were in one of the upstairs room, will request downstairs next time.

I love Carol at the reception area. She is very sweet and very helpful. She is very lovely. I love our room where we stayed because it feels rested and comfortable. The place is accessible. Please take care of Carol at all costs because she is a gem of your place. Please send her our love. Please maintain the cleanliness and hospitality in your motel. The receptionist was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location was great,walking distance to all the shops so no need for car. The room was perfect and clean, the bed was amazing so comfortable and we even had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival which was a nice surprise. We got the Room with a spa bath unfortunately there was not enough time to take a bath.

Only two channels on the TV, not enough parking, we lost our parking spot on the premises and had to park on the street when we came back late from a function.

The location was amazing, and it was an easy walk to the shops. Reception staff were welcoming. The room was spacious, with a small kitchen and table which made it great to prepare food and eat. The beds had clean sheets and were comfortable. The room was very clean.

Was a little dated, but it added to the charm. The windows rattled lots at night from the wind, but nothing a pair of socks closed in them couldn't fix.

The room was very cozy and clean, bed was so comfortable, location was perfect and so close to all restaurants, shops and attractions. The staff were amazing so nice and welcoming, they had even gone out of their way to make our anniversary special bought us a drink and gave us breakfast vouchers, we even slept in and missed our breakfast but they still gave us another one without hesitation. When we visit Katoomba again, will definitely be booking this motel again for sure!!

I asked for a room I had liked on a previous visit and they changed me with no problem. Very nice of them. 😀 Stayed August and it was colder weather but room was already warm and cosy when I arrived. It is a great motel to be close to everything. Especially now with all the paid parking in Katoomba. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Also right across the road from Aldi supermarket and popular Vietnamese restaurant.

Very comfortable quiet and convenient. The staff at reception were very good.

Fridge was not very cold other than that all was sufficient for 1 night stay. Only marked down value for money as we were charged double the usual tarrif due to an event happening during our stay.

Central location, surrounded by lots of great places to eat, supermarkets and a laundromat. The train station is also close by.

Reception opening hours are a bit limited. My room looked clearly aged (the shower wall had mould) and a lot less flash than in the photos, but the people looking after the place do make an effort to make the room as clean and comfortable as possible.
