This is a great place to stay with or without kids. The suite layout of all the rooms is so handy for space and privacy, including a usable kitchen and dining area. It’s located on the edge of a nice outdoor shopping mall, and is a short drive from the beach (10 mins) and a slightly longer drive (20 mins) to downtown Wilmington. The outdoor pool is open year round and there is also a hot tub/whirlpool and a beautiful seating area. The breakfast is better than average, as is the coffee (available all day) and the dining room is staffed by people who take a pride in their job and interact with the guests. Highly recommend!

we've been staying here for 4.5 years and this trip was the absolute best! Our room smelled SO CLEAN and I loved the personalized TV screen when we came in. The breakfast is pretty good. I love the waffle maker and the preset measuring cups, but I wish there was an option to clean the excess off of the machine.

I prefer the individual cartons of milk like they used to have instead of a single pitcher of milk.

It was in a very good location. Even though the pool was next to a parking lot, they made it beautiful with landscaping outdoor seating and fire pits that the parking lot was not even noticeable. The aesthetics of the dining area and bar area were very nice. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The rooms could have been a lot more cleaner. Some updates are definitely needed, with respect to wallpaper and carpet.

The decaf morning coffee is excellent. When the person in the room above me made way too much noise the folks at the front desk were big help. The people at the front desk were always kind and helpful for everything.

Breakfast running later would be nice. I get exercise, then eat 10am (10am-6pm, 16/8, intermittent fasting) and the food was there until 9am. I brought my own, so it wasn’t a big deal, but would have been nice.

Excellent hotel with a large, comfortable bed, impressive, large bathroom and Suite area. The outdoor pool was nice; not spectacular but good quality for the accommodations. short drive to Wilmington beaches.

The only complaint was that there were a few workers in the pool area that smoked right in front of the sign that said no smoking…Annoying.

I like the size of our one bedroom suite it allowed us to separate in the evening and let our babies sleep in the other room

The air conditioning in the workout room near the treadmill, wasn’t working and it made for a very uncomfortable workout. There was a sign in front of the machine that stated the air-conditioning vent was out of order. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future and fixed.

Easy access to pet area and good coffee availability in lobby.

Everything was clean on the surface but ground in dirt was apparent under the bathroom vanity. A good deep mopping would resolve this. The pillows were nice but too soft for my liking. Maybe consider replacing with more firm pillows or once that don’t go flat so easily.

The staff was absolutely amazing! They were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is the most dog friendly hotel we've ever been to. Even got a little welcome bag for our pup! The hotel is nice and quiet since it is away from the main road in a private area. Heated pool is also very nice and grill area. Rooms are spacious.

In a hotel that dog friendly, I don't think carpets in hallways and rooms are a good idea and very sanitary. You never know some pets and issues. It is harder to clean the carpet than tiles or vynil. Powdered eggs for breakfast have no place in an almost $200/night hotel.

We were close to everything and the beach wasn't far. We liked the hot breakfast. The pull out was fine for kids, but I don't see an adult enjoying the mattress for more than a day or so.

Perhaps a small drying rack for hanging wet bathing suits. Next time we will bring our own, but it would be nice if the hotel provided a small one for the room.

Staff was SUPER helpful and when the power was knocked out they did everything they could to light up the place with what they had available and they ensured to still provide what they had made already and available for breakfast

Had issues with the wifi not connecting but was fix just kinda randomly
