Our stay was exceptional in every way. We are truly grateful to Lynda, who demonstrated a unique hospitality, kindness and care. We felt pampered and happy. Our room was spacious, extremely neat and cozy. A welcoming chocolate fudge was delicious. The location is perfect. There is a board close to all rooms which contains a very useful information. There is a cooler with still water, which is always amazing to have near by. We are looking forward to staying here again in future and highly recommend this place to everyone! We had an incredible experience at this property! The location is perfect – peaceful, yet close enough to all the main attractions. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made this trip special was our host, Lynda. She was so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From providing great local tips to assisting with any questions we had, her hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable stay.

This was a wonderfully clean space with all the amenities you could want. They had a big bottle of water that you could fill up your water bottle. Such a thoughtful gesture! The owners were wonderful and very helpful. They allowed me to use their refrigerator to store a few items. The breakfast looked wonderful, but we didn’t have a chance to try it. It was very close to everything, downtown, the grocery store, etc. Great stay, I would highly recommend!

There was nothing we didn’t like

Lynda is really nice and gave us a warm welcome. Her homemade fudge is delicious. She gave us useful hints about places to see or restaurants. Bed was good, heating was welcome after arriving on a rainy day in March. Aldi is just across the street. City, station, bus terminal are within walking distance.

Bathroom and sink are quite small, but new and clean

Lynda is such a gracious host!!! She messaged us before we arrived to suggest dinner reservations (please make sure you make them). She met us and upgraded our room to a larger room because a larger room was available. The room was comfortable and very clean. The homemade fudge was delicious. It was an easy location to get to and close to restaurants and grocery.

That I didn't listen about dinner reservations - although Macleod's Fish & Chips were good!

The guesthouse was in a great location, easy to find and just an easy, picturesque 10-minute walk from the main street with restaurants and bars with live music. The rooms were cheerful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lyda was an amazing host, friendly, helpful and very helpful. She has a board in the hallway filled with suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. The continental breakfast was GREAT, including homemade bread, cereal/musli, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice. It was delicious and very filling. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Inverness.

Friars Bridge Guesthouse was the perfect landing spot for our short stay in Inverness. Lynda was an exceptional host, with the most generous display of hospitality and invaluable tips about the area. The guesthouse was spotless, well serviced, and full of thoughtful little touches - from the homemade fudge, to the wall of local recommendations, stunning breakfast spreads, and a warm feeling of welcome. Lynda treated us generously, like we were family. We will never forget our time here! Thank you so much Lynda :)

Absolutely nothing. We STRONGLY recommend staying here!

Very clean and very nice. Would have appreciated a microwave in there as when you first arrive - very rarely do you want to go out and it would be nice to warm up stuff you have in tow.

Loved it and breakfast was awesome. You pay for it but it is more than you pay for. Just great and Lynda fortunately agreed to give us a little doggy bag.

The host is just the nicest person! She gave us really good recommendations for restaurants and places to take a walk. She even emailed me beforehand and offered to make reservations for us as they fill up fast around here. She is well traveled so she was able to have things to talk about to both my group and the other group that were down for breakfast.

Lynda, the owner, is a kind and nice lady. We felt like home stay. The room is just meet the need but comfortable and essentially equipped. Lynda provided sufficient information and tourist advice. It takes 15 minutes walk to arive the old city centre. Carpark (overnight only) is situated at the side of the premises.
