The staff were lovely. The breakfasts were well worth 20 euros. I used the top sunbathing terrace, which was a great bonus with the weather. The surrounding neighbourhood seemed okay, and walking to the museums I wanted to visit was great!

I stayed in room 209. All I can say is that you need to spend money to refurbish sections of your hotel. The carpet pattern in my room was horrendous! The wardrobe needed a brace behind the back to steady it. But I still enjoyed my stay and would return!

Our room was upgraded and was amazing. The spa is calm and relaxing with good facilities. The roof top garden with a bar was great and very relaxing for some sunbathing and restful moments. The aufgus every hour was a great bonus too. Literally cannot fault this location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel very soon.

A kettle in the room would be nice but the fact there isn’t one doesn’t take anything away from what a great place this is to stay at. Cannot really fault this hotel.

- SPA is massive and quite nice. Typical german style, so no clothes. 10 euros to get in, plus rental of robe, another 10 euros.

- WIFI. Horrible. Unstable and slow. Had to use my phone connectivity instead. - BREAKFAST. 20 euros but apart from the bread it felt rather on the cheap side. Plus the garden chairs a bit uncomfortable! - BEDROOM. Lightning insufficient. Too few wall plugs too. - SPA: Hotel manager sort of pushed me to rent the bathrobe for the SPA, but then lots of people inside simply had their own towels. - SPA: people with costumes are allowed in. It's annoying that they tell you you have to be naked, but then they don't check others.

The location was great with easy access to the main attractions and eateries. The room was perfect for us, clean and quiet. The spa was amazing and not overly busy. Most visitors were naked and we were both comfortable with that and confident to go with the local culture as it felt completely natural. Highly recommend the Aufguss sessions. We both came away feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Would definitely go back there.

A kettle in the room or available to hire at reception would be handy. However we couldn’t fault this hotel spa at all really.

Our triple room was very big. Very good location. Overall nice and clean hotel. We were on a non-smoking floor luckily - not sure how the smoking floors are.

Room not cleaned between days. Spa is an additional €10, and renting robes and towels is €8. A bit outrageous when the robes stank of cigarettes. We also weren’t warned when asking to use the spa that it is a mixed gender naturist spa, and most of the facilities require undress. As two young women it was surprising that the receptionist didn’t give us a heads up. We got into it, as we wanted to get our €18 worth, but it was a shock!

well kept, back-street spa hotel with copious facilities for treatments. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms and only a short walk to shops, restaurants etc.

I alerted the staff to my need for a nearby parking space, due to a recent hospital stay. They provided one, but the access is remarkably difficult. While the room and the facilities were accessible for disabled guests, I would have to strike a note of warning about the parking. The ramp is steep and there is no separate access on foot. I'd say it was OK so long as your driver is not also your disabled party member.

Great staff! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The manager Thomas was very kind and accommodating. We had booked a quadruple room for one night for a sister’s getaway, two of us decided to extend our stay an extra night to use the Therme and booked massages. It was very relaxing and a great decision, given that we had done a lot of sight seeing and wanted to relax. We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar area with fantastic views. The proximity to the sights was also important to us and it definitely met our expectations!

Chose this hotel because of the availability of the spa facilities. Some reviews have complained that they were not aware that the spa was naturist but the info was quite clear. The facilities in the spa were clean and excellent. One does not have to be nude all the time - people wear costumes/towels/robes in the many relaxation areas, both pools and some of the jacuzzzis. The saunas, steam room and cold plunge are nude, although this was not "policed" unless the saunameister came in to top up the water bowl. The rule excluding under 16's did not seem to be enforced. A good place to chill out (!) for a few hours. The aufguss must be experienced! Good breakfasts, bar and (clothed) seating area.

No air con in the bedroom so, with temperatures of 35C outside, room was very hot and smelt a bit sweaty on arrival. Two tower fans provided so sleeping naked on top of the bed with the fans providing a bit of a breeze was tolerable. Dinner in the restauarant was poor (overcooked fish) and few alternatives in the area. A bit outside the main city, but on a tram route. Spa tiled floor very slippery when wet so suitable footwear essential (basic sliders provided).

The room was very spacious. Bathroom/shower was large and comfortable. It was great to have access to the Thermal spa and sauna - for a fee of $10euro! Location was close to lots of local bars, cafe, bakery and restaurants. Easy to walk to the DOM cathedral and other points of interest.

The room exceeded our expectations, with a lovely view of the Church outside. The only small complaint is the bad pillows on the bed. They were synthetic, irregular padded and uncomfortable. Everything else was great! Bed linens, towels and shower were great.

The venue was great—very clean, with friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the Therme Spa complex, which is perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. We were also provided with an early check-in by the reception staff, which added to our overall positive experience. This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and we would be happy to come back during one of our next visits to Cologne.

The weather was a bit warm during our visit, and having air conditioning in the room would have definitely enhanced the comfort of our stay.
