The size of the room was enough good for our family of four, it did have some cooking facility, that we didn't use though, and the bathroom did have a good sized shower. I felt comfortable and I'm 188cm and heavy. Two of the beds can easily accomodate two tall adults and the sofa bed is medium sized, I would say equivalent roughly to a double bed. The staff was awesome and really helpful, breakfast is average and the pizza they serve at the hotel's restaurant is really good.

The room was at the ground floor, with the windows on the road, but is a quiet area, so no issues at all with this. My only unpleasant point are the pillows, too soft for me but it's a personal preference so take it as it is.

We had a fantastic experience staying here! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help with everything we needed, offering great local tips and always greeting with a smile. The on-site restaurant was a real highlight — their pizza is absolutely delicious, some of the best I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was just as impressive as the food. The whole stay was smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuinely kind hospitality.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a quieter location! A 15-20 minute walk from the center, and the hotel’s new onsite pizzeria served the best pizza we had in Slovenia. What really stood out were the people and service. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and excited to offer help and suggestions.

The hotel itself is a historic building, so it comes with some quirks. That said, we thought the service and staff made our stay excellent. We would certainly book again.

Excellent, welcoming and helpful staff. Very friendly feel to thw place. Good location - within walking distance from the centre though in the residencial area so peace and quite. The hotel has a pizzeria also and the pizza is very tasty.

The hotel is lpcked between 10 and 3pm so if you wish to arrive and leave your luggage before the check in time to then go to town it is not going to be possible. The hotel closes again at 9pm so if you arrive from the town at the later hour you are given a key to the front door to open.

Very happy we chose Hotel Katrca for our 4 night stay in Ljubljana. What a charming surprise it was. The staff are so friendly and helpful really making our time there so comfortable and inviting. The breakfast is excellent with choices to please everyone. Location was perfect for using the bus system that took us directly into the old city center.

A couple nights could hear the music from a couple blocks away late at night, Closing the windows resolved that.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area, near Tivoli Park, and is quite close to the city center. The rooms are clean and well mentained. The breakfast is quite fine.

In the room they gave me, there was no bedside table on both sides of the bed, so I had to put the necessary things away from me. Lack of vegetables at breakfast (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers). The lack of plates for sweets, from breakfast. If after the meal you wanted to eat something sweet, you had to take it to the table in a napkin because there are no plates other than the ones you find on the table (as many people as there are at the table). The pillows are very uncomfortable.

Situated in a neighborhood 20-minute walk into center, which had a bustling nightlife and great Saturday market. Property has a terrace pizzeria and small but varied and healthy breakfast (Rucola salad with carrots and zucchini) eggs, breads, etc. They allowed us to keep car parked in free spaces out front after checkout while we spent the day cycling. We stayed in top floor room that stayed cool due to open skylights.

Stairs could be a challenge for some.

I liked the position of the hotel, very conveniently close to a supermarket and a bus stop. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, with a perfect level of English. The cleaning staff was also extremely polite and thoughtfully offered fresh towels every day even when I didn't put out the "clean my room" sign. The room was very clean, with good air conditioning system. A pleasant stay in every way.

The hotel is located close to the park Tivoli, about 20ish minutes walk from the city center. The receptionist was nice, as well as the lady who worked in the restaurant the next day - they were both very helpful.

A plumber should be called ASAP. The shower leaks on all sides and is fixed with a plastic bag which makes it completely unprofessional. Also, more options should be given at breakfast - e.g. wholemeal bread.

Everything is beautifully intentionally decorated, the staff are fast, helpful and greet you with a smile. The breakfast was great, the room had a lot of space to unpack, the bathroom was super clean, we were able to park for free infront of the hotel even before check in. We loved staying there and would love to return. I definitely recommend staying here.
