A beautiful, pristine cottage and warmest welcome from Ger were our 1st impressions. The view of the pretty, faerie like, well kept gardens was relaxing, comforting and homely. Delicious & hearty breakfast was served in the well appointed dining room. There was nothing left unthought of. The extra touches to this B&B were noted and appreciated. Our stay & the intelligent, interesting conversations with Mary and Ger have been a highlight of our visit to Kilkenny.

Loved everything! Mary and Ger were fantastic hosts. Our room was big and roomy. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was great. The chocolate in our room was a nice treat with a cuppa. The separate tv room was great to have. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The location is nice and quiet and although it was out of town it only took a few minutes to drive into the centre. There are only 3 rooms for rent so it's very nice. I would definitely stay with Mary and Ger again on a return visit.

We wish we could have stayed longer! Everything from the cleanliness of the room to the quality breakfast was exceptional. We were given several choices for breakfast which was served in a lovely dining room. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay.
I can’t think of anything we would change about our stay. It was fabulous in every way.

Our room! Beautiful en suite, very comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Ger gave us a warm welcome and before leaving we met Mary in the garden who had a little gift for my son which I thought was a lovely gesture. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful people. I would definitely return.
Couldnt fault a thing.

I especially liked the little touches such as: 2 face cloths, 2 little chocolates at the tea station, a friendly chat with the busy owners, a few brochures on the area in the drawer, the lovely gardens to look at outside.
We could hear the people upstairs in the middle of the night but this is hard to avoid in a home style b and b. It didn't bother us too much. The blind in the bathroom was not a black out blind so some light filtered into the room at night. I closed the bathroom door to resolve this.

Twin Oaks Bed and Breakfast was easy to find and was in a quiet location. There were multiple choices for breakfast. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The homemade jam was especially good. The hosts Ger and Mary were friendly and quite helpful. The room and bed were immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.
There was nothing we did not like.

We loved staying with Ger and Mary!! They were so welcoming and lovely! The garden was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and you could taste that it was high quality food. The rooms were cosy and super clean! From there is was really close going to Kilkenny. We would love to come back and stay a whole week!! Can’t wait to taste Mary’s marmelade at home which we bought during our stay.

Our hosts, Mary and Ger, were charming and welcoming. It was a lovely introduction to Ireland for our first night! Ger was very helpful when I called and texted him about arrival times.
We booked two rooms, each with private bathrooms, but one room ended up having to share a bathroom.

The place is a very nice house with beautiful surroundings, situated only an 8-minute drive from Kilkenny city center. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious homemade trifle. The room had everything needed for a one-night stay and was very clean. I will stay here again if I visit this area in the future.

Mary and Jer were such lovely people and really made us feel comfortable in their home. The decor is fresh and modern and the full Irish breakfast was wonderful. The garden was so beautiful, a great place to relax while waiting for our family group to come downstairs in the morning. The King bedroom and ensuite bathroom were roomy and felt a little like an upscale spa hotel with a large walk-in shower.
the only thing I would add is perhaps have an extra luggage rack/bench for each guest's luggage.
