The location was perfect. Right in the centre. Across from the Esplanade and easy walk to restaurants and cafes. Also, 10min drive to Airport. The swimming was a good size. We started out in a standard hotel room and upgraded to an apartment half way through the week due to all the rain and staying in more. An apartment was more comfortable with a lounge, kitchen and washing facilities. Cost wise for the upgrade was cheap and staff were accommodating.

The pillows in the standard room were too thick and very uncomfortable. No spare pillows of varying thicknesses. We had to go and buy pillows so we could sleep. Didn't like the parking situation. Never a parking spot and having to find a spot on the street. Not good during heavy rain carrying suitcases.

Central location, quiet rooms. The pool was great. We had a great view of the esplanade from our balcony. The rooms weren't serviced, but extra towels, tea etc was readily available

We requested an extra bed for the one bedroom apartment. We arrived at midnight after a long journey to find the bed was propped up against the wall in the lounge. We had to move furniture to make it fit. When I informed reception, they told me the room wasn't made to accommodate an extra bed. If that's the case, the option to request one shouldn't be available. I was then told most people book the two bedroom apartment if they want an extra bed! 🙄 Regardless of the size of the room I don't expect to have to make up the bed on arrival or move furniture around either.

Everything about this hotel is great! we booked an ocean view and we got it. The staff were fantastic, friendly, cheerful, helpful and personable. the room was tidy, clean, well equipped, large and with a fantastic view. It's on the seafront and in the centre of town- with woolworths close by. The kitchen had everything you need. The lifts were quick. Towels are provided for your trips away from the hotel and storage available for late flights.

The internet. Not sure why this hasn't been fixed yet as others have mentioned it, in our room we could only get it by the door and it was a little slow- so a little inconvenient- also you have to sign up to a (free) membership to get it, which I don't like doing. We weren't there for the internet though- so no real problem

There is a lot of Hotel apartments in Cains. We went with the Manta Triolgy. We had a 1 bedroom with sea view and it was quite the view. This place was large and tastefully decorated. Access to the water front was right down the elevator and out the door. Everything you need is close by including the RSL. the balcony was perfect place to have meals and listen to the action down below. This was the best accommodation on our 3 week trip around northern Queensland.

Getting from Reception to our tower through parking garage is tricky if you have a lot of luggage on a trolley.

Comfortable room. Excellent location which is close to the esplanade and has plenty of dining options and also convenience stores nearby. Can easily hire towels for the pool/beach etc. It was just what we needed for our week long stay.

Our room wasn't made up for the whole stay (no biggie, just wasn't aware of this prior). And one of the lifts had a faulty button for our floor. If you have a hire car, just know that the onsite parking is quite limited, so not guaranteed a park; there is some free car parking around the corner, but this would not be guaranteed during peak periods.

Great location. Close to night market. Close to enormous number and variety of restaurants/food options. 10 min walk to boat terminal where reef tours leave from. Exceptionally clean (except for back entrance from Esplanade). Pool could have been vacuumed daily to make it even better. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Having to take wet/dirty towels to reception for replacement. A linen skip in refuse room (plenty of space) could be an idea. No recycle options for bottles/cardboard. Again, plenty of space for extra recycle bin in refuse room.

Everything was so clean and smelled fresh. The apartment was a good size and the view was lovely. My bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice size allowing space to enjoy. Location was excellent. So close to everything.

Just small things. As we had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable but only had a hard thin top blanket instead of soft fluffy donna. There was not much shade around the pool so could not relax for long after my swim. The doors connecting the rooms didn't have a latch to hold them open. We had to use the cards every time that we went in or out of a room.

This was the perfect location to stay in Cairns - right on the Esplanade close to a plethora of restaurants and shops and within walking distance to the Marina for our Great Barrier Reef Tour. It was a clean, modern room and we had a view of the ocean from our balcony - and a view of the pool looking the other way. It was wonderful after a day of sightseeing or touring to come back and have a long swim in the pool - it was actually about three pools put together - one part for lane swims, one shallow area for younger children and then a regular pool area.

If 2 people are staying for 4 nights please give them more than 2 rolls of toilet paper instead of us having to request it! With no daily housekeeping you have to remember to ask or you will run out!

The staff were incredible. So helpful and friendly and nothing was too hard for them to sort out. We were initially booked into a hotel room in tower 2 but the staff helped us upgrade smoothly to an apartment in tower 1 as we required kitchen facilities. The hotel room was average but clean. The apartment we changed into was stunning and only cost a small extra charge of $30 per night. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, and a perfect location overlooking the ocean. The reception staff were amazing. Old fashioned courteous service that a lot of hotels lack these days. Nothing was a trouble for them. Wish we had stayed longer!

Some areas of the buildings need renovating badly. The hotel room in tower 2 was clean but verging on run down. But the apartment we changed to in tower 1 was stunning and couldn’t be faulted.

Superb location, walking distance to the esplanade, restaurants and marina. The building is managed well, clean and well maintained. Splendid view of the water from the balcony in the ocean view 2 bedroom apartment.

I booked a two bedroom apartment, but didn’t expect that each bedroom had a hotel style door as well that is super heavy, self closing and could only be opened with the keycard. That made it quite difficult and annoying to communicate with the family members as we all had to carry the room card even inside the apartment if we were visiting each other’s room. The pillows were too high and soft for my liking as well.
