For a lodge, it is great. The bedroom was spacious, clean, well kept, the bed king size and very comfortable, the bathroom is nice and clean, and the price was good too. It comes with microwave and mini fridge which were really great for storing and warming up leftovers from restaurants, and for preparing simple foods like sandwiches, and drinks like chocolate milk. I will definitely go there again when I need to go to Gainesville again.

The outside looks just ok, but that doesn't matter because it's just the outside looks, and it is outweighed by the great inside of the room.

We were just passing through the Gainesville area and needed a hotel for the night. Absolutely every hotel that we checked was booked. We found the Lodge online and with a lot of trepidation, we booked it. It was about 20 minutes off I-75 in the university area. We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Our room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The young couple who checked us in were pleasant and efficient.

No breakfast. The lighting could be a bit brighter.

No food was provided at the lodge, but there was a Dunkin’ Donuts just two blocks down

I could’ve been spaced further from other guest. The night that I was there, there were only three cars in the parking lot yet they put me within a few doors of the next guest and I can hear talking outside at 11 o’clock at night.

Given the amount I paid, I’m very satisfied with the place. The service staff was really helpful and nice. Rooms are generally clean, bed comfortable.

They could add a water boiler for the room, and it will make it even better.

This hotel was perfect for its value. You can’t expect that you’re gonna get a Marriott or four seasons experience. But this was an excellent value. The room is clean. The bed was firm, which is nice Internet worked great.

The shower floor was a bit gritty. Could use some new pillows other than that. It was a perfect day.

The rooms were exceptionally clean. I like that there were laminate floors and NOT carpet. The bedding was fresh and clean. the place looks a bit worn on the outside, but room was great.

outside could use a little sprucing up.

This was our 3rd time staying here and we have 4 more stays already booked. The office staff and the housekeeping ladies were very helpful and friendly. Our room has always been clean every time we have stayed here.

There's nothing we didn't like.

I like the closeness of this place to downtown food and entertainment. The woman who helped me at check in was friendly and I liked her immediately. My room was pretty basic which is what I expected at that price point. For an inexpensive little place to sleep along your journey, this place is just fine.

It would be nice to be able to watch streaming services instead of cable but it's not a huge deal

Amazing location, only a 30 minute walk to the stadium! The gentleman at the front desk and the cleaning ladies were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

The shower is super small. The water pressure was surprisingly good though. And, there's no coffee maker in the room.

Great location near Main Street bars/restaurants and only 25 minute walk down University Drive to stadium. Free parking at hotel, but 2 blocks east toward campus some lots were charging $20 to park for game.

It's an old hotel so don't expect much. All I need is a shower, TV & comfy bed and everything was suffice.
