Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was central, which was excellent. The cooked breakfast was immaculate!
Whilst it was very nice, it did seem a tad overpriced. My only other negative would be the fact that the TV during breakfast was set to GB News (which I would argue presents some quite extreme points of view, dressed up as 'news'). I just wanted to eat my bacon and eggs in peace, but the furious discussion about the numbers of boat crossings did somewhat ruin the ambience.

Myself my Wife and our two shih tzu dogs have just returned from a two night stay at this excellent hotel which I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND the view from our room onto the bridge and the river was gorgeous our room had all that you would need a tv,shower, kettle etc and was spotlessly clean kept that way by the lovely Denise. The recent referbishment has been done to a very high standard, the rooms, bar area, food looked after by head chef Ben salt and pepper chips best ever, the bar and restaurant service all excellent. The large breakfast served between 8 and 9 will set you up for the day a head. From when we arrived to when it was time to leave you could not have wished for a better team of people to look after you than the staff that work at the Bridge End Hotel this view was put to the test during our stay as my wife and two dogs found themselves locked in our room after the lock failed and I could not get back into my room, within minutes of me informing Denise the team led by Manageress Charlotte swung into action to reassure my wife and to get the door opened this was done in no time at all and the lock replaced. The management treated my wife and I to a meal and a bottle of wine that evening in the restaurant where we were looked after by the lovely Jason the Assistant Manager who had also during our breakfast gave my wife a box of chocolates. To sum up: Lovely dog friendly hotel to stay in, Fantastic warm welcoming staff, Big thanks , Would we come back, Yes, Yes, Yes. Jimmy and Carol De Geir

Great check in and the staff were so friendly and pleasant. The rooms are beautiful, very modern and had tea, coffee and biscuits. The beds are very comfortable. The bar area is lovely and not bad prices for drinks. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and was excellent. You could help yourself to the continental breakfast, juice, tea and and coffee while waiting for your cooked breakfast.
The only thing I didn't like was no blind or curtains on the bathroom window, just a net curtain. We felt a bit uncomfortable getting a shower, as our room faced the main road, so we kept the bedroom door open so it covered most of the window while showering.

Great pub with rooms right in the centre of the town, the pub was really nice and the rooms were very modern and clean. Even though we were there for the Eisteddfod, so it was absolutely rammed, the staff really didn’t keep anyone waiting and our room was still really quiet.
Very little not to like, I guess one thing about our room is that it would have been nice to be able to open the window but the fan in the room was really quiet and actually kept the room quite cool.

Jason and the team are so welcoming. The bar is lively and has a good atmosphere. Good pub grub - reasonably priced, tasty and served quickly. Room was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and we travel a LOT! We live locally (frozen pipes & home renovations meant we needed a Last minute hotel nearby!) so will be back soon. Great to see the transformation of the Bridge Inn 👏
Could maybe dim the spotlights in the restaurant as there’s lots of other lighting - not a complaint, just a suggestion 🙏

Excellent location, hotel was very clean in restaurant area and in bedroom, adequate facilities in room. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent lunch time and at breakfast, service was spot on.
Only thing we didn't like was there was no parking for guests at hotel had to use public car park, which was situated just up the road from hotel but prefer on site parking.

The location was PERFECT and could not be better. Jason and Denise were SO friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hot brekky included. Great view of the river. Newly renovated rooms. Parking an easy couple of blocks away. Absolutely nothing to moan about :-D
NOTHING not to like for us; however, please note for those who have difficulty with stairs, there is no lift. (I have found this a common trait of old pubs/buildings.)

Nice clean sized comfortable room. We had a view to the river which was lovely. The breakfast was good. Staff all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was also nice. It had a good variety of pub style food.
A main crossing is just in front of the hotel, so it can get noisy from time to time with the traffic and people below. This can be overlooked though since the view to the river is so stunning.

The hotel was really lovely, the rooms are small and compact but nice and comfortable. The location is fantastic though!! The staff, in particular Jason were fantastic, it was my birthday and he made a real effort bringing over a free drink.
The corridors leading up to the rooms looked a little tired and in need of a lick of paint.

Absolutely fabulous staff: from Jason to Denise. And the bar staff. All welcoming, courteous and hard working. We felt welcome from the beginning. Very comfy rooms. Fantastic breakfast and evening meal. Good location.
No parking. But not a huge issue. Parked nearby and renewed the car park ticket each morning.
