Amazing location close to walk to both the older part and newer part of the city within walking distance. Quiet and safe area as far as i experienced. Very friendly staff, very kind and helpful. Helped me and my mum book 2 excursions, taxi's , they also made sure that we had 2 separate beds for our stay as my mum has arthritis and needs her own bed. They also gave us a bagged up breakfast as our flight was leaving early in the morning and would not have the time to eat it before leaving. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and lovely soft sheets. I would definitely recommend the quality of the beds compared to many other hotels i have stayed in. Extra pillow provided which is a bonus. Wonderful shower , a rain shower but also a hand held one with excellent water pressure. Great towels not too small. Nice products provided for showering, such as sensitive scalp shampoo i think this was nice as somebody that suffers with sensitive scalp i appreciated this detail. The breakfast buffe was great , specially the scrambled eggs and bacon. Lots of juice options and hot drinks, pastries, bread, Homemade Yogurt etc. Has a easy to use safe for your belongings ! Ps there is also a lovely Italian near the hotel if you fancy it! Not that you travelled to Italy but you get my point! Had an amazing pizza there and tiramisu !

I cannot fault this hotel it was a great overall and would stay here again definitely, If anything it would be that i had some issues trying to connect my phone to the tv as i wanted to watch something through my phone however it did not allow me. However if you had a HDMI cable i think this problem would of been solved which i did not have. The hairdryer was not very good at all in my opinion it was very weak, this could be improved.

The staff were so friendly. We travelled with our 1.5 year old and they were always so lovely to her giving her lots of attention. They also went above and beyond for my partner who was celebrating his birthday with birthday messages in the room and complimentary cava and cake. Besides the staff, the hotel was centrally located right next to really nice restaurants, a minutes walk to the Central Market and also right next to a playground for the kids. It's spotlessly clean, nice and air conditioned with a lovely pool and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. We will definitely be staying here and again and have already recommended to family.

Location is perfect, a few steps from the market. We walked everywhere. The staff, in particular Esther, were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were really comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was lovely. Would stay there again. The city is beautiful, lots to see and do. We will be back and happy to return to Vincci Mercat..

It was a pity that the tv in the room had no english channels or an option to screencast. The coffee at breakfast was via espresso machines or a jug of americano. Neither of which resulted in a hot cup of coffee. It also doesn't seem to be eco-friendly given the espresso pods.

Breakfast excellent,location excellent and staff excellent. Room not super large but big enough for a city break and old style hotel which we loved . Bonus ,little pool on the roof where you can sit and have a drink also . We did not try their lunch menu but it looked good . It is in the heart of the old town and restaurants within walking distance and the old market, town hall etc

Being extra critical ,a larger room but we only paid for the basic one . The pool was small but set on the roof and could understand why it was small .

location and facilities

the poor service by housekeeping when they were requested by reception (in response to my request) to provide some extra black tea bags and milk. Eventually, the helpful receptionist had to go and find the duty housekeeping staff member and when found instruct them to respond and were told there no black tea bags left so the reception person had to personally go and find some and did. A lot of waiting around but eventual resolution.

We were treated very well and promptly by staff when we had a slight issue with our room. Facilities were excellent and breakfast was very adequate with plenty of choice. The location for the old town was superb. Three minutes away from the main market, Only ten minutes away from the Cathedral and five minutes from the main square. Highlightis: the Oceanographic and surrounding area. Do try and visit during the FALLAS festival in mid March as the City is buzzing all day and night.

There is nothing nit to like. All the people we encountered were friendly and tourists are made to feel very welcome.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed and perfect location near everything including the old town. We also loved that there was a playground right outside the hotel, which our daughter loved, and it was right next door to an amazing Italian restaurant, which we loved.

It’s on the pricier end and while it was a nice hotel, I don’t feel we got more value for it. Amenities were basic and water and coffee pods were not replenished regularly. Other than that- there are no complaints.

This hotel is very well located in the centre of the old city, and in a small square away from the noisy tourist areas. We were able to get an upgrade at a more reasonable rate at check-in and stayed in a suite which gave us a small sitting room attached to the bedroom so more space to move around. A call out to Ester at reception who was very patient in finding us a room that could accommodate my elderly father’s needs, and provided items he required to help him in the bathroom. The power shower is one of the best I’ve had, and all the facilities in the hotel were as I would expect for a mid-range 4-star hotel. Breakfast was good, and option to order the way you like your eggs. I was very impressed that the breakfast team remembered everyday what drinks items we needed (fresh lemons) and placed them on our table before being asked. Congratulations to Theresa and Javier for providing an excellent service at breakfast.

Nothing that we did not like, although some suggestions - update the curtains so they close fully and properly - a larger TV with option to cast would be better as the reception is poor and only English speaking channel on offered was news - warn guests that there can be a queue for breakfast if you arrive after 9, so may need to wait 5-10mins

I stayed here many years ago and returned as a solo traveller lately. I still loved it! The staff were friendly and kind, I felt welcomed as a solo older woman, they could not do enough for me! They even turned down the music at the pool when I asked and got me shade, an extra pastry with my coffee, that kind of thing. Luxury without fuss.
