The room was comfortable. The courtesy lemon drizzle cake and mead waiting for us upon arrival was a nice touch. Also appreciated the fresh milk for tea and coffee in room. The breakfast was delicious. Considering this is only a small B & B, there was a large choice and all really nice food. Close to town centre. Parking nearby in car park, free if you were prepared to walk.

The service for breakfast was rather slow, bearing in mind only 2-3 other couples seen whilst we were there. But this wasn't a problem. Road rather steep - obviously that's not the hotel's fault - it wasn't a problem for us but anybody with mobility problems might prefer to stay elsewhere.

On arrival we were given a choice of room as no one else arriving at present. This was such a kind sentiment in my opinion from Jo who managed our booking. Nothing too much trouble. Therefore we had a bigger room which we were grateful for. There was plenty of tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and cold water in the fridge in the hallway. The bed was super comfortable, the walk in shower was perfect . The views from the window were lovely also. Parking is a 10 minute walk up the hill which is not expensive, you can’t expect free parking in a seaside town like Lyme ! Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices too. Our third time here and it’s somewhere we always return to.

I was given a warm welcome as soon as I arrived and shown to my room where a delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake was waiting for me as well as some delicious mead. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet and I could see the sea which was a big plus. I had a fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning and a great selection of fruit and cereal. It's a short walk down to seafront (but steep) and only a minute from the car park and it is possible to pay for your parking for the next day in advance so you don't need to get up early. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The breakfast, tea and coffee arrangements and general comfort were excellent. The breakfasts were freshly and perfectly cooked with generous provision of fresh fruit, yogurt etc. Staff friendly and helpful, everything served with a smile. Fluffy towels and we appreciated the quiet room as requested. Excellent Wi-Fi. All toiletries are eco friendly and plentiful. Accommodation is well situated for walking into town or to the harbour via pleasant gardens nearby.

No fault of the accommodation but parking is a problem albeit plenty of car parks - just adds to the expense. Coat hooks in the room would be helpful. Just to mention the hilly nature of Lyme Regis was challenging.

Breakfast was lovely delicious sausages ( I’m not normally that keen on sausages) hot and in good time. The lady who showed us around was really nice The rooms were very clean with good quality linens and towels, the beds were also comfy.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like really! I suppose the only thing would be the fact it’s not got any parking so you need to park in a public car park (not really a problem ) It’s at the top of a reasonably steep hill which maybe would put people with mobility problems off, although it’s close proximity to town is ideal. They do mention the parking in the information they provide. So all in all a really lovely B &B

Lyme Townhouse was lovely. Everything we wanted and more. Location is very central and only a 5-10 minute walk down to the beach. Parking at Holmbush car park is only minutes up the hill as well. The room was lovely and comfortable and super tidy. Breakfast options were good and the food was delicious. The team there are great and gave us a call the day of arrival to see when we'd be arriving and give us supporting instructions around that which were really clear and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

The welcome was very warm and friendly, they were really helpful when I bombarded them with questions as I'd never stayed in Lyme Regis which really helped. The bed was the best one I've had in a hotel, albeit was quite high, not great when you're only 5ft 1"

The breakfast was lovely but felt quite rushed. The room was clean and very bright but did feel the room didn't look or feel as luxurious as the pictures shown. Additionally the shower bottles on the wall should be body wash/shampoo and conditioner , I didn't have my glasses so couldn't see writing, so just assumed it was as above, but it turns out I'd used shampoo to wash myself!

Our welcome was lovely & although we had a problem it was dealt with well by the staff on our leaving day. A great choice re breakfast, our room & bathroom were clean & the bed comfy.

We needed to contact the on call manager who to date still hasn't returned our call. If this had been an emergency this wouldn't have been good. The staff there in person told us she had the day off which is fine obviously however surely someone else needed to take over the 'duty' phone?

The hotel is in an excellent location in Lyme and the the pre-arrival information was very clear and helpful. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived. The included hot breakfast was really decent and exceeded expectations, the staff hosting the breakfast room were simply lovely and we really appreciated the buffet of fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Our room on the top floor was very clean and the owners had left a birthday cake which was a really nice touch. Lovely crisp bed sheets and plenty of towels and toiletries. The room however was far too hot and we couldn't find any thermostats to reduce the heat, so we left the window fully open - nice sound of the sea overnight but the early morning folk going about their business from the car park below was an alarm we didn't enjoy. There was a smell of drains in the en-suite. There are lots of good reviews here and I think we had a room that didn't reflect the experience of others.

We had a lovely stay at Lyme townhouse, it was really well located near to the shops, eateries and a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day! We had a comfortable stay, the facilities and showers were really good! sadly, our room looked out onto the road. Light sleepers might want to request a room at the back, but it wasn't too much of an issue. All in all, it was a lovely stay and would recommend it.
