Fancy building, comfortable bed

1. There is no buffet breakfast, which is disappointing 2. The breakfast menu is very basic, any cafe nearby may have better options 3. I waited 20min for the breakfast I ordered, I don’t understand why it took so long 4. There is no free parking. There is a parking lot downstairs but it’s Wilson parking it should be hotel parking instead 5. The lighting of the room is a bit too dark. When I woke up in the morning, the lighting made me feel like it’s still at night

Breakfast was five stars. The food was amazing, finger licking good. The staff is so lovely, everyone treated us with utmost friendliness and enthusiasm. The architecture is at times stunning, at times bizarre, so a bit of a hit or miss. The location is great and we walked to many museums in the national triangle.

I personally hated the lighting; but it is subjective. The corridors were dim and our rooms facing the atrium were even dimmer. Maybe it is a couples thing but for us as a family the ambience felt very depressing. The software— staff and service— was top notch for me; the hardware— room sizes, lighting, fittings, furniture— was a miss. There is of course beauty in uniqueness and nonconformity but generally small dim irregular rooms with awkward furniture is universally uncomfortable.

Very comfortable and quiet. Extra touches for anniversary were really appreciated, platter and handwritten card. Huge, clean room with massive ensuite. You have to pay but parking - I think it was Wilsons - is underneath the hotel which is convenient.The breakfast included was impressive. We were blown away with the level of service at breakfast and the options for me being coeliac. It was actually the highlight of the stay.

Upon arriving, it was a bit confusing. Google maps took us to the university, I think it was, which was across from the hotel, not the fault of the hotel. It would have been helpful, though, to know where to go when atriving, where to park, where to find reception to check in. Reception is in the same area as the restaurant. Getting to the room was confusing as well. We booked at the restaurant for dinner for our anniversary. It wasn't much to write home about. Not much options. Although, the waitress was lovely. The same restaurant outdid themselves with an amazing breakfast, though, in the morning.

Rooms were well laid out, spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathrooms well stocked, clean and the showers were hot and abundant. The hotel itself was unique, architecturally stunning and in an excellent location. The cafe downstairs did a very good coffee and breakfast was delicious. Really appreciated the hotels efforts towards sustainability and the use of environmentally friendly service and products.

Would have been good to have a swimming pool. Otherwise couldn’t complain at all.

We loved the design, architecture and atmosphere of the Ovolo, very funky. The staff were exceptional in providing friendly, helpful and accurate service during our stay. The food was creative, not fine dining and very tasty. It was our 46th Wedding Anniversary. When arriving in our room, a Happy Anniversary platter of beautiful little cakes and chocolates had been provided for us to enjoy.

We can honestly say there isn't a thing we didn't like from making the reservation through to our whole stay.

I recently spent a Saturday night at Ovolo Nishi hotel and was thoroughly impressed! The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spotless, modern, and tastefully decorated, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The amenities were top-notch. What truly made my stay stand out was the exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was seamless and friendly. Highly recommend Ovolo Nishi for its outstanding hospitality, comfort, and value. I'll definitely be back!

The interior design of the hotel is worth the price of admission alone. Really enjoyed the ambience however there were a number of disappointments. Asked at reception if we need to book for the Restaurant and they said "no. It's a week day so just walk in.." .... it was full. No problem...we went to the Parlour which was great! Hotel Nishi parking was full.. mmmm is it ever empty for guests...felt like a the usual Hotel rip off... Vegetarian every meal??? Nice to know when booking for the 95% of us that eat meat.

Ovolo Nishi is a very modern hotel with great design features in the rooms and public areas.There is chargeable parking under the hotel and several cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options and the staff were all excellent - friendly and professional.

The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was so muted it was difficult to read or apply makeup. The corridors were also extremely dark.

We did not have breakfast but dinners were excellent. The location was perfect.

Service could have been improved by replacing used items on a daily basis, for example tea bags and milk until we requested ourselves. Coke drinks were not replaced neither was the milk. Also vanity items in the bathroom.
