We were a bit worried about staying at the hotel during its soft opening but our worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel is made with great attention to detail and high-quality materials. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic and the chef does a great job combining Portuguese tradition with new exciting flavors. We will definitely come back when we are in Porto again. When the pool and rooftop are finished, it will surely be one of the best hotels in Porto.

We were lucky to be one of the first guests of Altis Porto Hotel. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of the city center. The room was spacious and equipped with everything a traveler needs. The staff welcomed us with a smile every morning, ready to do everything to ensure a pleasant stay and were helpful in assisting us planning our days, suggesting activities. The restaurant at the hotel offers excellent food and vine with emphasis is on ingredients from the local area. The breakfast buffet had wide selection of fresh local food. At the end of the day it was wonderful to enjoy cocktails at the hotel bar. The hotel is beautifully designed with an emphasis on Portuguese design. We are looking forward to our next stay, when the rooftop swimmingpool and the spa are ready.

The property is gorgeous, and very clean! The beds are so comfortable. The food is amazing!!

I don’t have one bad thing to say about the property, it was an amazing stay, the staff is top notch, and dedicated to make your stay amazing! We will definitely be back next summer!

The staff at Altis Porto are amazing and always on hand to make your stay the best it can be. The rooms lovely with great bathrooms and fixtures. The beds are very comfy. Breakfast is a delight with a great choice of fresh fruit, cereals, hams, cheese, and freshly cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms, frita, plus omelettes to order. The service in the whole hotel is amazing.

The rooms need more space to unpack clothes. We stayed for a week but mostly had to live out of suitcases. There is plenty of hanging space but only two tiny drawers. The room lighting system is very tech. However, the lights don't seem to work uniformly. We constantly turned on the wrong lights. The hotel is in a nice location but a good 15 min, hilly walk into the old town.

Our stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The location is absolutely perfect, offering easy access to the city center and the beautiful Jardins do Palácio de Cristal right next door. We were incredibly impressed with the breakfast. It was not only delicious but also offered a wide variety of well-cooked dishes, fresh pastries, and a great selection of drinks. The spa facilities were a highlight of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and the massage was incredibly relaxing, leaving us feeling refreshed. We were also delighted to discover the rooftop pool, which provided an outstanding view – a perfect spot to unwind. Throughout our visit, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We also appreciated the comfortable mattress and the thoughtful touch of offering three different types of pillows, which ensured a great night's sleep. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend the hotel.

Friendly staff - the waitress in restaurant for dinner and Ladies in the spa were so lovely Very clean hotel - spotless and modern Rooftop pool was great to chill out but no music or often no one there to serve at the bar Dinner in the exuberant restaurant was delicious and a real treat. Spa was fantastic - best back massage I ever had from Ines Tram stood right outside !

For me it lacked a bit of atmosphere - not a place to have a drink with background music in the lobby which would of been nice The peacocks in the park next to hotel had me awake at all hours ! ( not the hotel fault ) We only took breakfast the first morning and didn’t think it was worth the money (25€ pp) so didn’t take it the rest of trip - wanted to try brunch spots in the town.

A brand new hotel and so super smart and clean . Staff all go out of their way to be super helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Food quality is excellent and so tasty, really 5 star food ! The location was great for us and good walking to all places we wanted to visit . Our room overlooked river and was glorious . We had a lovely small balcony , no furniture but it meant we could leave doors open and keep AC off so had nice fresh air . Pools are good too , just a bit cold but we did visit in November. Absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel , lovely .

Nothing we didn't like ,but would be even better to have had towels available on roof pool and maybe the ability to order drinks without having to go fetch , however I think they not set roof top pool up fully yet but can use and has lovely loungers . Also will be good when TV can 'mirror 'from phones properly as is the option. We couldn't only get a poor YouTube quality and no TV screening even though helpful staff assisted us . We didn't really need TV but because option was there on our welcome screen we kept trying it and staff helped us buy not working with iPhone or Samsung. Maybe an Internet issue . These were only little things but will be full marks when these sorted .

The beds were ultra-comfortable. Breakfast was great - very good coffee. Spacious rooms. Nice reception staff - everyone was friendly. Good location. Nice 15-minute walk into the centre along the river, just 20 mins from airport. Price was good for a hotel of this quality.

Rooftop pool area not big enough..overflowing in the early evening. Teething problems with rooftop bar - 30 mins for a G&T Very corporate - NONE of the decoration reflected it's Porto location. Perhaps some artwork, photos or artefacts would help. Bar totally lacked cosiness. Nice staff, but many of them inexperienced - learning on the job.

All the staff at this hotel were excellent in every way and made us feel important and special. The arrival drink and parting gift of water bottles was a nice touch. I would highly recommend a massage at Mandalay down in the spa area. The bed was large and very comfortable with lovely bed linen, and great pillows. The towels, bath robes and slippers were very good quality and soft and fluffy.

The room is a little dark which makes it feel small, and a room with a river view means you were by 2 parallel roads which was noisy with the window open. The sound proofing was quite good but we were on the lowest level so could hear the traffic a bit. No little milks to go with the tea or coffee, but that seems quite common in Portugal.
