The location is excellent. It is a 10 minute walk to Bronners and a 15 minute walk to the Riverplace shops. The room was of an excellent size and very comfortable. The shower was hot and the beds very comfortable. The room was maintained at a very high standard of hygiene. It was always a pleasure to return to the room after the day's activities. The breakfast was simple but plenty of variety. Boiled eggs, oats, yoghurt and pastries were available along with fruit juice,coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The dining area was always of a high standard of cleanliness. The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful. They could not do more for you. I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Frankenmuth and would certainly stay there again.

Nothing, there is nothing that I did not like about the hotel.

This is a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced alternative to the typical national-chain hotels available in the area. You aren't going to have lots of extra amenities - but if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable motel that meets your basic needs (clean room with good bed, good shower/bathroom), then the Frankenmuth Motel is a fantastic choice. We were in the area for a family event, and needed a decent place to sleep - it was perfect! We were not doing the tourist things in Frankenmuth, but it would be a great home base for you if that is your purpose. The breakfast - was basic, but enough for what we wanted... bagels (butter, cream cheese, jelly), packaged muffins, donuts, yogurt, bananas, juice, coffee, tea. Highly recommend!

The last day, the yogurt in the breakfast area's mini fridge ran out. We didn't ask if there was more, so there may have been... but, only one of us wanted any that morning. That's about the ONLY thing that I can say was "wrong" - and it's pretty minor. Do note -- the front desk is not staffed over night, so make sure you arrive your first night to check in before the specified time (it was 11pm when we were there, but that may vary).

Unfortunately, the room above us leaked water from our ceiling over the bathtub. Unsure of exactly what was leaking, or how clean the water from the leak was, we did not let our girls shower and my husband and I only showered once, which was when the leak was discovered. Also the handheld shower head had to be held and not placed in the holder which only allowed for water to spray directly onto the wall. Other than that, it was a good place to stay. I did report it to the front desk, but surely it had been reported before and was not fixed.

The room amenities were fine. The room was clean, the WiFi worked without a hiccup, the television channels were plentiful ( without making us see content about the hotel's other venues as soon as the TV was turned on, like another accomodation in town) microwave and refrigerator were very nice, coffee maker in room was great to have, Simple breakfast in office was nice.

Friday night of our stay was not nice due to a group of patrons with loud, bassy music for about an hour. If the motel put a stop to that crap, that was really great on their part. The toilet was very little and low to the floor making it difficult to sit down, and rise from it. The toilet paper dispenser was placed in an awkward place, giving me no place to rest my arm while wiping. The toilet also uses a lot of water to flush. My wife was afraid the toilet was going to overflow because the water comes up so high in the bowl before it lazily goes down the drain.

Very good location to downtown Frankenmuth, only a few minutes by car. Very clean location and friendly staff. Had coffee maker, fridge, microwave and hairdryer in room. Tv worked and has air conditioner. Really enjoyed time here and already thinking of bringing my parents.

Maybe scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast, but there were bagels, donuts, muffins, coffee, juices and cold boiled eggs so not bad.

Everything was great. Clean comfortable guite best location easy to get into and out. Perfect place to take nice peaceful walks and very close to Christmas shop.

Disappointing TV service Once we r in for the evenings we enjoy Watching TV. They showed lots of channels but actually cut most of the channels . So if you want the news or sports you have great selection other then that not so much.

Location is excellent and very convenient, located nearby the river shops and not too far from downtown Frankenmuth as well. The motel seemed to have been updated fairly recently, the beds were very clean and comfortable. Pillows are much better than even more expensive hotels I've stayed at recently, the neighborhood surrounding the motel was very quiet, so our night was very relaxing. Overall, a great affordable .motel. will definitely be returning.

I was very pleased to have a recliner in our room. Although I didn't specify, my husband is disabled and sleeping in a conventional bed is not easy for him. The motel was next door to a wonderful little military museum. My grandchildren really enjoyed looking at the displays and doing a scavenger hunt in the museum. It is very close to both Frankenmuth and Birch Run.

There could be a little more variety for breakfast.

Our annual "pilgrimage" to Frankenmuth for the Christmas music at St. Lorenz and to finish up holiday shopping in town and at the Outlet Mall. The incredibly reasonable rates at the motel give us that much more money for shopping. It's exactly what we want, simple, clean, conveniently located (near Bronners) and the breakfast that is included starts early enough that we can just grab a bagel and yogourt and be on our way. Far better than paying twice as much at a chain hotel.

No negatives...yes it's simple, but it's got everything we need...comfortable, clean and friendly!

Staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to Bronners as well as to restaurants and shops.

The water boiler broke after our first night so we had to move to another room. That was fine, but both rooms have beds on metal platforms. You can't help but kick these platforms anytime you are near the bed. Very loud and very annoying. Also with both rooms we had trouble with the keys not working and had them reprogrammed 3 times in two days. It was a little concerning when out for the evening as the office is not manned after 10 pm so worried about getting into our room. Overall it was good and we would stay again.
