Impressive and quirky building, very well maintained, an experience in itself. Friendly staff Good breakfast Distinctive room with comfortable bed, all the needed amenities, overall a nice place to be (and to take photos of :) ) Great value

Drafty window kept a side of the room colder in spite of the heating being on. Not a serious issue, so we didn't bring it up with the staff. Unusual layout with the toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom. I prefer having everything in one place, but I can't say it had any negative effect on our stay. It's not in a nice part of the city, but not in a bad one either. Minutes away from the nice part though.

Our dog was well looked after, a bed for her in our room, 2 bowls, 2 play toys, they were happy for us to leave her in the room and had special door handle notifications so staff knew she was inside. Hotel is beautiful. Restaurant dinner was lovely albeit the menu is limited. Games in the Restaurant /Lounge were a nice surprise. Expresso martini was good. Spa is nice,

The Great hall is the restaurant, the bar the games room, the roof bar / terrace is closed in winter. The hotel really lacks a nice cosy bar space to relax in. Spa is very small and a little cold generally for me, smalll jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. also you are on view of all the other hotel guests if they choose to peer over the wall into the atrium.

The hotel is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff is kind, helpful and professional. The bed room was quiet and the bed really comfortable. The hotel is near the train station ( where the Hop-on and Hop-off bus starts its tour) and so if you start discovering the city, you will figure out that it is close to many key sightseeing attractions.

Only the way the breakfast items are organized. The first day, I figure out where the fruits are at the end of the meal. It would be worth to regroup the food centrally. Ps: the Breakfast room is s sightseeing attraction in itself!

+ Our room was spacious, airy and really well fitted. Having a toilet with no sink in it is a tad weird but nothing particularly uncomfortable. Noise levels are absolutely kept to a minimum, and the air conditioning is reliable. + The staff are absolutely great and definitely do their best to ensure guests have a great stay. We were even considering adding an extra night to our stay which would have been problematic since the place was almost booked out -- but the ladies at the reception still found a way to assist us. + The spa and the whole "hidden garden" concept is simply gorgeous and definitely adds to the overall charm of the places -- and there's certainly plenty of that! + Parking is at a rate of 25 EUR per day and is done off location via a valet - which is an easy enough approach to make sure guests don't have to worry about tight spaces, etc. Alternatively, street parking is also fairly easy and convenient.

- Breakfast was nothing particularly exciting - standard variety but not exactly the tastiest products out there. There's definitely alternatives in the area around the hotel. - The area around the hotel is your typical "central railway station" affair - but the ambience in the place itself more than makes up for that.

Lovely hotel - absolutely gorgeous decor, good sized rooms, very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything felt super easy. The spa is really nice - not huge but there was hardly ever anyone around so it was perfect. Very relaxing. The location was fine if you don't mind a walk - was about 20-30 mins walk to most places. And there are trams and buses which are cheap and easy to speed that up.

The rooftop bar was nice but only open from 12-4pm in nice weather - would've been great if we could sit out there in the evening as well. And the restaurant menu was limited so we didn't eat there.

Very good hotel and enjoyed our stay, however, having said this, this isn't a 5 star hotel, hence its price. Beautiful building and lovely staff, but it lacks that extra mile in details to achieve the 5 stars. Mystery room is not really worth it IMHO. The difference was there was a bathtub in the living room and a very big and empty bathroom with a shower plate. Spa is not very big, but nice enough with its sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We went in off-peak hours, otherwise it is too small for more than a handful. Breakfast was OK. It was too common to find empty bowls, platters, juices etc. But ok. My fault indeed, I forgot the keycard in the room, so when we were back I had to go to reception to ask for a new one. Weirdly enough, the person there, didn't speak English, and we had to wait 10 minutes for the actual person in reception to be back and give us a new one. Sort of details, you'd never find in a proper 5 stars hotel. I want to make it clear, I would come back here, but it's not a 5 stars. Its a good hotel in a gorgeous building.

The room was comfortable, and the bed provided such a great night's sleep. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the small gifted surprises in the room were a lovely touch. They had daily cleaning and turn-down service—everything was kept immaculate. The spa was the standout feature of the hotel. It’s small but well-designed, and most of the time, it was peaceful and uncrowded, making it the perfect place to unwind.

The breakfast, though decent, lacked variety and didn’t quite meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Additionally, the spa—though lovely—was often used as a photo shoot location, with guests taking pictures and using their phones, which disrupted the relaxing atmosphere. These aspects took away from what could have been a perfect stay.

The hotel is truly beautiful, and the team is exceptionally professional. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. While most rooms have windows facing an indoor patio, this design works surprisingly well, offering a quiet and private ambiance. Everything was impeccably clean, and although daily towel changes aren't necessary, the housekeeping was thorough and well-done. The breakfast selection may not be as extensive as in some other 5-star hotels, but the quality is outstanding, making it a delightful experience.

While still central enough, the location is a bit removed from Budapest's main attractions. The spa area is cosy, but it does feel small given the size of the hotel, and the jacuzzi could have been warmer for added comfort. Additionally, the need to contact reception each time (the spa team was constantly absent) to activate the jacuzzi was a bit inconvenient and could be improved for a smoother guest experience.

A fabulous hotel. An incredible building and beautifully renovated including a lovely spa and roof garden. All the staff were excellent and very helpful. The Breakfast and restaurant were superb. And all situated on the edge of the tourist hub of Budapest.

The heating in our room seemed to have a mind of it's own. It was never too cold, but could have been a bit warmer for our liking. On the one occasion it did respond to my programming a couple of degrees increase in temperature, that lasted for the rest of that day and then would not respond to anything again. Other than that, all good

Beautiful exclusive hotel in the VI district of the city. The district itself us not so interseting, however is it within walking distance from the very center, famous Basilic and the riverside, plus it is neigbouring with Nyugati train station from where one can get to Bratislava or Prague. The hotel has a little bit eccentric design which makes it charming and unusual. The terrace on the rooftop offers magnificent viwes on the city and even a jacuzzi. Moreover it has a small thus cosy and beautiful SPA which is free for the hotel guests. Stuff is really friendly and helpful. Nice compliments upon arrival and after every cleaning.

The breakfast was plentiful and tasty but monotonous, so after 2 weeks of stay we became a little bit tired of it. The cleaning is on everyday basis, but we were surprised when they didn't change the bed althougth it obviously needed changing, so the next day we had to put the linen down the floor. But this is rather a remark than a disadvantage.
