This is a charming lodge in a beautiful forest, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was rich and varied.

The extra beds we needed for our family were not ready, and we had to contact the office and ask to set them up.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The view over the trees was also very pleasant.

We were told at the frontdesk when checking in that breakfast was complimentary only for guests booking without third-party (eg. booking.com). So we paid $20/pers for breakfast, which was a ripoff IMHO given what was served. There was no water fontain on the property, so drinkable water only available on purchase at their gift store. The door of our room didn't close very well. We had to use strengh to open/close it, which made noise, and was a little tricky with a baby sleeping in the room.

Dining and lounge were an unexpected bonus. We were weary from being on the road all day and did not have the energy to find a restaurant in town and ate at the lodge. The food was hearty and good. The lounge was lively and crowded. There is live music every night and made for an enjoyable evening. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. Signs and maps are posted throughout the grounds which made it easy to navigate our way around the premises.

There was some pool maintenance or repairs that were not reported, and we were disappointed we could not use those facilities.

Beautiful room decor, very welcoming and comfortable. Easy access to parking area for luggage unloading/reloading. Nice bathroom and coffee supplies.

The window set up in the bathroom was very odd. If window was open in shower/toilet area it looked right on to the stairway where people could be and we felt pretty awkward especially when it was dark outside. We stayed in rm 420.

Our room was a nice quiet and secluded area called "Woodfern." We chose a downstairs room as my husband is unable to climb stairs too well. Also, the on-site breakfast voucher was a great bonus as we didn't have to pack up and drive out somewhere to eat. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of healthy choices for those who have special diets.

It appeared the reception desk was always very busy or understaffed (only 1-2 people). Initial registration went smoothly but I had to wait a bit a couple of stops later. Also had some questions for them and may have needed help unpacking some heavy items from my car.

Couch in the room was black with dirt. This was a red velvet couch. The arms were black with dirt. The cushions had some dirt on the edge too. The rest of the cottage was very clean.. However, the couch being so black with dirt on the arms gave us a negative feeling . The room cost $450 a night and the fact the couch was so dirty was upsetting. We brought blankets to cover the furniture to protect it from our dog should she jump on it to sleep so we were able to enjoy the room without focusing on a dirty couch.

See answer above. Grounds are very well kept and beautiful to walk. Room is spacious and bed and bathroom are new and clean and very comfortable.

Although the room is a bit dated, it's very clean and very comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. I loved the view from the room. It was nice to be able to open the windows and get a cool breeze at night. The fireplaces in the living area and bedroom were especially nice to heat up the place in the morning. The breakfast is an excellent buffet in beautiful rooms with garden views. The music in the lounge each night was most enjoyable. We always enjoy our stays here.

The room needs a bit of updating. The windows are hard to open and some of the curtains were falling off of their hooks. But none of this detracted from our stay.

Breakfast was AMAZING! The outdoor area for dinner was beautiful as well. I loved our patio area, with the exception that upstairs neighbors can see us. Late night my husband saw deer outside our room which was really cool.

There was no ice machine at our building, so had to go pretty far just to get ice. Our room was bottom floor next to stairs which was AWFUL! Everytime someone went up or down the stairs, it sounded like banging on our walls! What was worse, it was happening a lot late nights and kept waking us up 🙄

Super cozy and good size room for a mother/daughter trip with 2 queen beds. Note there were some stairs up to our room, but that may not be the case for all 2 queen bed rooms. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the property was beautiful to walk around, and the other food options were wonderful as well (salads, drinks, outdoor pizza night with live music). 10-15 walk to main street if you're able to navigate some steep stairs.

I love Cambria Pines Lodge. The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing and plentiful. The gardens, with the many different settings, nooks, and crannies for sitting, reading, eating, or having a glass of wine or cup of coffee are beautiful, and some have fireplaces. The pool is a good size and the jacuzzi is hot with lots of jets. The whole setting is just gorgeous without being pretentious. We enjoyed the bar and the live music there. I'd love to stay there for several days. It has everything anyone would want.

Nothing I didn't like. It would be nice to have cotton robes to wear to the pool and jacuzzi on cool evenings.
