The location is great, the wellness facilities exceeded my expectations, the breakfast was good and there was a good and varied choice of evening meals, the suggested wines were well thought out, you had to get down early on buffet nights otherwise the food on offer could get decimated, Elisa was exceptional and and her team did a fantastic job, the pastry chef was outstanding.

The standard double was simply adequate, there was only one power socket in the room, there were no usb outlets. The extractor fan in the ensuite didn't work, I reported this fault to reception but nothing was done about it. The room seemed smaller than I expected but had a nice view of the Jungfrau, it overlooked the well manicured garden but could get very noisy at times because of the children's play area directly below the room.

I really loved the location of this hotel — it’s right next to the train station, just about 20 meters away, making it extremely convenient for day trips to various attractions. The hotel is located in a small town, and from the room, I could easily see the mountains toward Mürren. Stepping outside the hotel, you can also clearly view the Jungfrau peak. It’s very easy to access the cable car to Grindelwald and also very convenient to reach Lauterbrunnen. The breakfast was good and complete, and the staff were very attentive and caring.

The food was quite expensive. During my stay, there was renovation work going on at the building, which made the hotel's surroundings look less picturesque in photos. Overall, though, it was still a good stay. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to use many of the hotel’s facilities, so I can’t comment much on that part.

The hotel is located perfectly at the mountain railway station of Wengen. It is easily accessible and you are greeted immediately by very friendly and helpfull staff. The staff is very international, a nice mix of languages and helpfullness means that you are almost certain to feel at home. Hotel breakfast (continental) and half board (4/5 course or buffet) is very good. Good portioning and good flavoured dishes are always welcome after a day outside. The wine collection is rather swiss-oriented (which may not be for everyone). Again, the staffing during dating times is exceptionally friendly. The (evening) bar is cozy and you're certain to find something to your liking (again with friendly Bartenders). The hotel has several exits, meaning you can get access to the different ski access points (cable car or train) very easily. The hotel has a large skiboot room and skiroom, with good access from the slopes. The spa is well maintained, large and offers nice views on the mountains. It is a nice and calm place to come to rest.

It's nitpicking, but sometimes it becomes apparent that the hotel, although well cleaned and maintained, does have a certain age... (Windows, shower)

This property is in such an awesome location with amazing views and the person at the front desk was great; he was very friendly and went out of his way to assist us. We stayed in a family suite with a queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. The room was great with a balcony and views on both sides. Waking up to falling snow and views of the snow capped mountains was amazing. Also loved that the hotel is pet friendly and right next to the Wengen station.

One bathroom for the family room creates quite a shuffle and at times required people to use the hotel bathroom rather than the one in the room. While it is not a major issue, the room had a very distinct lack of power points, at times making it difficult to charge devices. The breakfast is a little lacking. The hotel has an appliance for people to boil their own eggs which results in poor outcomes when you have multiple people trying to cook them at the same time. I would suggest that it would be more effective for the hotel to cook a batch of eggs and have them readily available. A couple of the wait staff were a little gruff and did not appear to really like their jobs but for the most part the staff were good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a day late as we were stuck in the Zermatt flooding and so we were allowed to check in early as our room was waiting for us and use the spa facilities. Our room was upgraded and we had a spectacular view. The pool and spa area were amazing and we used them everyday. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. A few minutes walk from the train station and is in the middle of town so a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and the Mannlichen cable car.

Hotel is dated but work has begun on modernisation so I look forward to returning when the renovations are complete.

Beautiful view of the mountains from our deck! Great location and just a 3 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast spread was good and had lots of options. The room was perfect size for our stay since we were out exploring each day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The court yard area was big and provided activities for adults and kids. They set up a big screen to watch the Paris Olympics a couple of nights.

It would have been nice if they provided a fan for the room during the summer month. It was stuffy at night. We had to open the deck door to cool the room down at night.

Hotel is good but rooms are very small and there is renovation going on major building is covered due to renovation hence it is not as it appears in photograph. Further bathrooms are very small may be 30 inch X 30 inch bath cubical, where an indian cannot fit easily i dont know about australian ... Hot water katlee was not available and hence generally typical indians carry cooked which is pre cooked which could not be used room sizes are small and furniture is old but yes in working condition

Great location opposite the train station, the trains are electric so you can't hear them. The hotel gave us an upgrade to a room which had a great mountain view :). There was a good choice at breakfast which set us up for the day. Its a short walk to the centre of town. The town is small but has everything you need. There's also a coop for any essentials you might need. There are lots of little hikes around Wegen to take in the spectacular scenary. Being close the station meant we used the trains everyday for our trips to Brienz, Lauterbrunnen and Grindlewald, so much to see; the trains are all timed to meet each other so there are no long waits between connections and the views are amazing! There are also toilets at station connections (all really clean too!!!).

Excellent location right next to the station and yet no disturbance from train noise. Views from the restaurant of the Jungfrau mountain as well as the Lauterbrunnen valley were lovely. The swimming pool facilities were excellent, especially for a 3 star hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly. I don't know why this isn't a 4 star hotel!

With no air conditioning in the room there was some noise from the village when having to keep the windows open in hot weather. Other than that I'm struggling to find any fault with the hotel!

The location is fantastic. The hotel is adjacent to the station, and the view from the room is beautiful/ gorgeous / fantastic and simply superb. The room is lovely for a small family. The check-in receptionist was very polite.

The room organisation could have been better. The toilet was clean, but it was terribly small, especially the shower cubicle. A normal person of average size itself struggles to fit inside the cubicle. Further no toiletries at all. The hotel does need serious upkeep of the furniture / decor and the rugs & carpets Which are dated and old and may be changed The same holds true for some furniture as well . However, bedding was very comfortable.
