The location of the hotel is great, with gorgeous views and very close to the train station. The breakfast is great and overall excellent.

The views were breathtaking, words just can’t describe how beautiful the views are. Wengen was much quieter than Grindelwald. We’re so lucky we chose Wengen over Grindelwald. With the travel pass you can access all of the different parts of the Eiger Jungfrau mountain areas, the trains and cable cars are quite frequent so you don’t need to worry about timetables too much. The shuttle to and from the hotel to the train station was great, although it wasn’t too bad just wheeling your luggage back down if you have to leave your accomodation early. It was only a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was great. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants, staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to Wengen and Jungfraublick and Switzerland for that matter. We found it very expensive, but we would do it again without hesitation as it was just that good. If we come back to Wengen we will definitely be staying at jungfraublick.

We stayed here last year and cannot fault it the staff are amazing and very friendly and the view of the mountains is to die for. Because it had been a very good Summer the hotels were still open so there was a lot of places to eat, unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed on an evening as the cook had retired and as it was the end of the season the new one hadn't started. The breakfast is amazing with local bread and a lot to choose from. As Wengen is a car free zone then we suggest that you get a half price rail pass as this will save you quite a bit of money it seems expensive at first but worth it and you get to go up the Schilthorn and the Jungfraujoch half price. We went to First which was really busy on a Sunday but try the cable car at Pfingstegg there is a Toboggan run and a fly line and a playground for the kids and a great bar and restaurant, and also not as busy as First.

Location! Location! Location!! Absolutely stunning views!!! Minutes from delicious restaurants and the Wengen Station. The staff were really nice and helpful. We were provided pick up and drop off to the Wengen station upon arrival and departure on the first and last day of our stay. The breakfast had many options and was excellent!! Only 10 mins from Lauterbrunnen via train and short distances to other spots such as Grindelwald, Interlaken, etc. Also, I highly recommend the gondola that goes from Wengen to Mannlichen. The views are stunning!!!!!!! You are at an elevation of 2222 meter at that point and are literally surrounded by the peaks of the mountains. There was snow in quite a lot of the areas so you get to see that up close too!

Wengen was a great hub for exploring the whole region, it was quiet, had amazing views and the train connections were excellent. We explored Lauterbrunnen, Brienz, Rothorn, Grindenwald-First, Oeschinensee as daily excursions from here. Highly recommend the hotel, especially the rooms with Jangfrau views. The hotel staff was the kindest we have ever met, especially Daniel who chatted with us about hiking, Switzerland history and more. The restaurant, especially the deck outside with fairy lights was fantastic, I’ve never seen a restaurant with better views. Highly recommend the fondue and the wines. We liked everything about this hotel! The breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, providing excellent guidance on local hikes and things to do. We had a very early check out, and were thrilled when they offered to make take away sandwiches for us for the trip back. Overall, excellent experience!

We were too warm at night with the comforters on the beds. Opening the window and removing the comforter from the duvet was an easy solution.

My goodness what a wonderful place to spend a few days in the Swiss Alps. The view is beyond amazing . Fantastic hikes from the hotel. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. All the staff without exception were lovely. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights in room 115 and enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the front of the hotel is beautiful. We were able to check in early (noon) and were upgraded to a balcony room (what a nice surprise). The check-in clerk was super friendly and directing us to a beautiful hike taking the Männlichen cable car to Panorama Walk - Trail 33. Our room was spotless and beds were comfortable. There is a washer and dryer the basement you can buy tokens from the front desk to use (5 francs each). The breakfast buffet is quite complete with a variety of meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruits, fresh bakery breads, tea/coffee/chocolate/juices. All well presented and maintained. The lounge area on the check in floor was very nice with tables, chairs, games, and in the back, a pool table and foosball. I would stay here again.

I don't know that I "didn't like" covers the note that there is a rather steep hill leading up to the hotel - which gives it the lovely view from the front. It just never got 'less' steep :) Another note - if you reserve a table for dinner at The Deck - confirm that it's actually ON the deck and not off to the side in the long grass with low side tables (not pull your chair up under the table type) with low chairs (asked for a table that was open but was told firmly "this is all I have for you"). Just hard to eat dinner perched on the edge of the chair leaning forward to reach your food. The homemade chocolate cake was superb.

This hotel offers the most exceptional experience. It is located slightly above the town, but it is still very easy to get to and the staff will gladly pick up your luggage from the train station if needed. Our room was upgraded on arrival so it included a view of the mountains/ alpine region. The private balcony allowed us to immerse ourselves in the scenery. Honestly, it was just breathtaking and we feel so lucky to have stayed here! The breakfast room and hotel lobby area are lovely in an old world charm kind of way. I also recommend having dinner here (the restaurant is called the Deck) as the food is good and the terrace offers wonderful mountain views. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an unforgettable stay in Wengen, Switzerland. Staff are very friendly and attentive too. I will be back!

The service was exceptional in all ways. The room had a wonderful balcony with outstanding views. They upgraded us to a larger room with a small living room. They offered a train pick up and drop off. The fondue in their restaurant outstanding. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Fabulous breakfast buffet daily and all day coffee tea station in lobby. Appreciated them filling the flower boxes during our last day it really added to the beauty. Easy walk to train station and beautiful hikes right from property. A stay I will always treasure.

The room was a bit dated. The lighting was outdated but suitable. The bathroom small. A small thing but we were disappointed our flower boxes were empty when all other properties had beautiful flower filled boxes as it was late May was delighted to see them filled on our last day.
