Location was fantastic and breakfast was excellent. I do believe that I received an upgrade and I am grateful for that.

Just about every interaction I had with one particular female receptionist was uncomfortable, and it seemed as if she didn’t want to be bothered with anything other than just the standard routine check ins. For example, I asked her about a place at the hotel to lock up a bike I was renting, and could never get a straight answer from her. I do believe that the staff was extremely overworked, having to deal with huge groups of tourists, and around breakfast time, being in the midst of these huge groups was like being in a feeding frenzy and could be quite overwhelming.

The location is great, the wellness facilities exceeded my expectations, the breakfast was good and there was a good and varied choice of evening meals, the suggested wines were well thought out, you had to get down early on buffet nights otherwise the food on offer could get decimated, Elisa was exceptional and and her team did a fantastic job, the pastry chef was outstanding.

The standard double was simply adequate, there was only one power socket in the room, there were no usb outlets. The extractor fan in the ensuite didn't work, I reported this fault to reception but nothing was done about it. The room seemed smaller than I expected but had a nice view of the Jungfrau, it overlooked the well manicured garden but could get very noisy at times because of the children's play area directly below the room.

It was a lovely hotel in an excellent location, just opposite the train station. The views were amazing! It had a lovely spa, with a warm pool and an outdoor hot tub, again with lovely views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and a decent size. Breakfast was good.

The room didn't have enough power points for phone charging, etc and some didn't fit well with uk adapter plugs. We were on half board. The food was ok (although not amazing!), but the service was could've been better. The staff were nice, but it seemed very chaotic and disorganised, making things very slow and quite variable.

⸻ Felt Like Home – 5 Beautiful Days in Switzerland I stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed and cared for. There’s something special about the atmosphere — peaceful, cozy, and full of warmth. A heartfelt thank you to Martin at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. Whether I needed local tips or just a friendly conversation after a long day, Martin was always there. People like him make a place truly memorable. My room was lovely — clean, quiet, and with the most beautiful mountain view. Waking up to that scenery every morning was pure joy. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, with little local touches that made them feel homemade. It felt like someone put care into everything, not just service, but the whole experience. The area around the hotel is magical — peaceful walks, charming villages, and nature all around. I left feeling rested, inspired, and grateful. I’ll definitely be back one day. Thank you for everything!

All amazing

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The hotel was just across the street from the train station, which made moving around the overall area incredibly easy. We spent all our days exploring, and returning to the hotel was like coming home to an oasis from the more hectic areas. we'd been touring. Our room had a sunny balcony (great for drying a bit of laundry) and a simply stunning view of mountains and waterfall. The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of variety including (my husband's favorite) scrambled eggs. Wengen overall was an ideal choice for us, because it has a few lovely (yummy) restaurants and shops but also retains its charm. We want to come back, and when we do, we will certainly stay here at Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen. Next time, we will take advantage of the spa - we were too busy exploring this time to visit it.

The hotel is very well located with excellent views, proximity to rail, and central to the Lauterbrunnen valley/ Jungfrau region. Our room was very spacious with a balcony offering amazing views of the mountains. We chose the to include breakfast and dinner in our rate which made the experience very affordable. Spa & pool facilities were also available and included indoor pool, outdoor spa, sauna and massage facilities. ALL staff were amazing, offering friendly and efficient services. Nothing was too much trouble.

Buffet breakfast plates were small salad plates so could have been bigger. The spa area while clean and in good order were out of date so could be modernised for a hotel of this good standing.

Location is easy to access by train. Beautiful hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff.

You can improve the guest experience by adding the following: 1) Water / coffee station near reception for guests to access anytime 2) Keep clothes iron and ironing stands in rooms or at least provide upon request. 3) Keep fans in rooms or at least provide upon request, especially during summer months.

I really loved the location of this hotel — it’s right next to the train station, just about 20 meters away, making it extremely convenient for day trips to various attractions. The hotel is located in a small town, and from the room, I could easily see the mountains toward Mürren. Stepping outside the hotel, you can also clearly view the Jungfrau peak. It’s very easy to access the cable car to Grindelwald and also very convenient to reach Lauterbrunnen. The breakfast was good and complete, and the staff were very attentive and caring.

The food was quite expensive. During my stay, there was renovation work going on at the building, which made the hotel's surroundings look less picturesque in photos. Overall, though, it was still a good stay. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to use many of the hotel’s facilities, so I can’t comment much on that part.

The hotel is located perfectly at the mountain railway station of Wengen. It is easily accessible and you are greeted immediately by very friendly and helpfull staff. The staff is very international, a nice mix of languages and helpfullness means that you are almost certain to feel at home. Hotel breakfast (continental) and half board (4/5 course or buffet) is very good. Good portioning and good flavoured dishes are always welcome after a day outside. The wine collection is rather swiss-oriented (which may not be for everyone). Again, the staffing during dating times is exceptionally friendly. The (evening) bar is cozy and you're certain to find something to your liking (again with friendly Bartenders). The hotel has several exits, meaning you can get access to the different ski access points (cable car or train) very easily. The hotel has a large skiboot room and skiroom, with good access from the slopes. The spa is well maintained, large and offers nice views on the mountains. It is a nice and calm place to come to rest.

It's nitpicking, but sometimes it becomes apparent that the hotel, although well cleaned and maintained, does have a certain age... (Windows, shower)

This place is exceptional. It’s not new but it doesn’t matter as it is clean and very well looked after. Facilities are fantastic and staff is great. Value for money is unbelievable. Very quiet and cosy. We loved it there and we will most certainly return.

Only one request really - please change mattress protectors. The ones that are currently in use are pure plastic which makes your body stick to the sheet as underneath the sheet is 100% unbreathable material. It’s like sleeping of the plastic bag with the sheet above.
