- Woodsy but contemporary decor & interior design. Traditional meets contemporary and an oh so perfect cosy real fireplace. - breathtaking views of the mountains throughout the building. - the hosts! The guys there were so attentive and hospitable that I felt like I was at home chilling with friends most of the time. They met above and beyond to meet my needs and to make my stay special. Hospitality is the secret ingredient for all world class hotels, and their hospitality was remarkable. Special thanks to Ouisa, Antonio, Alessandro, Mannuelle, the lovely ladies from reception who's names I didn't get on ( I could go on).

Unfortunately, because it's still a new hotel, their spa isn't open yet. A spa would have really elevated my experience.

Beautifully renovated: design and cosy. Something unique in Wengen where most hotels are still old fashioned. Small but very confortable rooms and bathrooms with stunning mountain view. Delicious food at the restaurant. Confortable lounge areas, inside / outside We loved the pet friendliness, providing a small bed and bowls in the room for our dog. All the staff was very nice. We had a lovely stay!

Everything wasn’t yet opened when we were there (no swim pool & spa, only 1 restaurant) but this was well communicated to us upon reservation. We were just sorry we came too early to enjoy the full hotel experience! Last day they were delivering the trees for the garden by helicopter, so it was extremely noisy, we had to go elsewhere for lunch.

My recent stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. The check-in process was smooth, and I was greeted with genuine warmth. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities (like high-speed Wi-Fi, a modern bathroom, and a well-stocked minibar) made my stay even more enjoyable. The view from my window was stunning! I also loved the hotel’s facilities. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit！

This was probably the best hotel experience i've ever had. From the location, facilities, food, staff, rooms etc everything was perfect. This was one of the best trips i've been on, and this hotel was one of the reason why it was so great.

I have no complaints. However, I do wish the rooms had air conditioning. I do understand that this area doesn't get warm enough for AC most of the year, I did get a little warm at night in August and I had to have the windows wide open throughout the night and a few bugs got inside.

Where do I even start, everything about the Grand Hotel Belvedere was perfection!! From the minute we arrived, we felt instantly welcome. We were greeted by very friendly staff and treated to a delicious welcome drink in the lounge. We then realised my husband had left his backpack on the train which had lots of valuables in it. The staff immediately contacted the train station and located the backpack and arranged for a staff member to collect it for us (thank goodness for the honest Swiss person who handed it in). With the crisis averted we settled into our beautiful hotel room and headed out to explore Wengen, but not before taking a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view from our balcony! We have travelled a lot and I don’t think I have ever experienced a hotel with staff like this. They made us feel like they were genuinely excited for us to be there and every encounter with every single staff member was a delight. They were helpful, happy, enthusiastic and so friendly. They also made our children feel very welcome and made an effort to engage with them. The rooms and bathrooms are absolutely divine. As an interior designer myself I was in awe of the design of the rooms and common spaces, the bar, restaurant and lounge were as beautiful as the rooms. The buffet breakfast was delicious and our dinner in the restaurant was also incredible. We absolutely loved Wengen and our experience at the Belvedere made our stay all the more enjoyable. This hotel and the staff are very special, thank you for going out of your way to make our stay so memorable, we will be back for sure.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This hotel is located in an idyllic location. From the room balcony, unique view over the Jungsfrau mountain, the highest point of Switzerland! From start to finish, it has been I M P E C C A B L E ! Every single detail has been thought out. I loved the shower in the room as well as the refined and customized breakfast Personnel is extremely friendly and genuine, always going an extra mile to help you with your situation, while still remaining authentic and discreet. The hotel stye is really a beautiful mix, combining modern design with Swiss mountain ambiance (beautiful hard wood furnitures and tables). I'll come back 100% sure

Nothing to improve, it was again impeccable!

This hotel is outstanding. My wife and I booked a stay here without knowing that it was their first week reopened after a remodel. Everything in the room and all amenities were brand new and top quality. We were upgraded to a mountain view room, which was exceptional. Wengen is a stunning mountain town, and this hotel is warm, relaxing, and the staff took extra care to be hospitable and accommodating. They offered to drive us anywhere and picked us up from the train station, which was nice not to pull our luggage through the snow. Additionally, my wife has some sensitivity to smells that can trigger her migraines and this hotel was fragrance free which we always appreciate when traveling. We ate at the restaurant, which has an expansive menu to fit many dietary needs and was much better than the other restaurant we went to in town.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Stunning views of the Jungfrau. Beautiful rooms and well designed quality fitments making the room very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Spa was wonderful and the lounge areas were very comfortable to spend time relaxing and a great selection of books to pass the time reading. Fabulous location. will definitely return to this hotel.

I couldn't name one thing that i didn't like about the hotel or the stay.

What an exquisite beautifully renovated hotel in Wengen. The building is true to its character and history but the interior design in public areas and the rooms, is gorgeous. Excellent facilities and staff that makes you feel like royalty. We stayed in a mountain view room, everything is incredibly well thought-out. The food was excellent - high quality breakfast and we had dinner in the bar/lounge and we can confirm that they serve a sensational cheeseburger!

No negatives.

We stayed here after my wife broke her leg and could not access our chalet. My wife was on crutches and the staff could not have been more solicitous in helping to make our stay as comfortable as possible. More generally the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, excellent food, superb service, front desk were helpful with arranging further emergency accommodation to cope with my wife's accident.
