Location is best feature of this hotel: it's less than 5 minutes away from Nagoya station and various local train lines, plus it's literally above a giant department store with all kinds of shops (there's an amazing supermarket just in front of the hotel elevator on floor B1). My room was pretty spacious, with a very nice view on the trains. The hotel looks overall a bit dated, but like it used to be fancy in its heyday (which I liked)

The bedsheets, toilet and all most used surfaces were clearly clean, however I felt like some corners of the room hadn't been cleaned or deep-cleaned in a long while. Noise was also a bit of a problem: the minifridge was very noisy, plus for some reason there was an atrocious thumping noise starting at midnight, both nights I was there. Maybe my room was located under a laundry room or something. Not the easiest environment to fall asleep in.

Excellent location close to Nagoya Railway stations, shopping malls and diverse eateries. Nice eco options on room cleaning etc. We stayed for a week and didn't need full room servicing and bed linen changing every day. Very useful and reasonably priced self service laundry facility. Great view of cityscape from our room (at front of hotel) Very quiet in spite of its location.

Restaurant facilities totally unsuitable for a couple of vegetarians - nothing in the way of meals or snacks (didn't really matter as plenty of close-by eateries). Int was a bit difficult for local friends to pick us up / drops off by car. There didn't seem to be a convenient stop off point.

Very conveniently located close to station and within walking distance of convenience stores and malls. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the buffet breakfast spread was decent. Staff were very helpful and when we got lost trying to find the entrance to the car park, the reception staff came out to our car and helped us navigate our way to the car park entrance (see comment on car park entrance)

If you are driving, and you use a navigation app like Google Maps or Waze, you might have difficulty locating the carpark entrance. The entrance is several clocks upstream from the hotel, so you need to turn into the car park entrance before you even reach the hotel. Based on my own analysis of google maps view, I think the entrance is a non-descript passage at the junction of Meiki-dori and Shimohiroi-cho.. (see the photos I uploaded) and it is several blocks upstream before you even reach the hotel. This entrance takes your vehicle up a long ramp that leads to the hotel's elevated parking. After parking, go through the glass entrance and make a left turn to see the lift lobby. I think the hotel / Booking.com should include these instructions in the hotel booking page.

The breakfast was great with a live chef to do your eggs whichever way you liked. The Chinese restaurant had an extensive menu and well priced (maybe a bit high). The rooms were "roomier" and the staff genuinely hospitable.

Locating the hotel could have been better with directional signs pointing the way to the hotel entrance and reception lobby. For example, the entrance to the hotel is located in the Meitetsu building and marked by welcome mats at the entrance of the elevators. A sign outside the elevators could say which floor the reception lobby is located.

The location was perfect close to Nagoya and Meitetsu stations. Shopping was great, too. Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Christmas decor was very nice and put everyone in a good mood.

Hotel maintains the elegant grand look, but some rooms in need of refurbishment - still with the dark wood decor and 80s lighting and wardrobe. Single rooms don't have a coffee machine nor views. Maybe time to change carpets (dusty) to laminate floorings. Public toilets at the lobby have steps so not accessible for w'chairs. Sky lounge was a letdown since other buildings are taller, so views are not that great.

Great location to visit Ghibli park by Meitetsu Rapid Bus. The hotel is on 11F above of Meitetsu Department store building with Meitetsu bus terminal on the 3F. Three minutes to get to Muji. LOFT floor as well as into Meitetsu Department store. LABI Yamada Elctric store is on 4F to 6F. Breakfast was a buffet where you can enjoyi Japanese and Western breakfast with additional choices of Nagoya local famous foods. Also the hotel was eco friendly providing a glass jar for getting water from the server on each floor.

Convinience stores in the bottom of the hotel closed around 8pm. I wish one of them can run later into to the night.

The hotel is at a great location just 1 block away of Nagoya Station. The hotel was easy to find and the staff was great, they gave us tips for train usage, specially since we were there for the F1 Grand Prix weekend. The room and bathroom were bigger than most Japanese hotels we've visited. Not much but any additional space is always welcome.

I think the price was too high; while affordable considering it was F1 GP Weekend still was too high comparing with any other weekend.

The location was excellent, adjacent to Nagoya station with basement access from airport train. The hotel was on the 11th floor and in the same building, the Meitetsu bus center is on the 3rd floor and Muji Dept store can be accessed directly from the 6th floor, go through Muji and Loft is not the 5th floor. Meitetsu Men's building (as the name implies, the building is dedicated to men's clothing, shoes, accessories, luggage, etc) is also connected via the elevator. Basement 1 from the hotel elevator have access to the subway, JR lines, airport train, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The best hotel to be staying in especially if you want to travel by bus through the Meitetsu bus center. Convenience is fantastic.

Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The staff cannot understand English well so communication is challenging. They make up for it with charm and they are accommodating.

The hotel is very convenient with access to basement shopping mall, shops and train stations

There was a green bud dropped onto my luggage which i was too scare😬 to take a photo and my sister managed to caught it and release it outside. And saw another green bud the next morning clawing at the coffee machine 😬. I showed the photo to the counter staff and she not sure what bud was that. The window edges was very dirty when we opened the windows.

Location was excellent! Good selection of breakfast that was quite good for the low price. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Old and tired looking hotel. Air-conditioning was too stuffy and warm. As it's centrally controlled, we were unable to adjust the temperature. We had to open the windows! It was either very hot or very cold as a result.
