We had a fantastic stay at Caparica Azores Ecolodge. The host, Carla, was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed. The small resort is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and the delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed in the house, which I highly recommend for families with two or more children, or a group of friends.

Hard to define how beautifully done this space. It’s just full of peace! The room is very clean, super comfy bed, you only hear birds, the pool is like having a swim in a lake in the middle of a forest. The breakfast is very rich, lots of healthy options, all delicious. The service is also exceptional. P.S.: make sure to try Bela artisanal beers while enjoying the ocean view from the balcony😋

We loved everything! The only thing that we didn’t like was being obliged to leave our lovely room to have dinner. The balcony has such a beautiful view, that we would rather prefer stay in the room than going to a restaurant. So for future a proposition for the hotel management, maybe they can have a menu with cheese boards or small snacks or food delivery from a restaurant by paying a premium etc. could be nice. Another proposition would be to add a book exchange corner in the shared area.

Excellent location in the north of the island, but still accesible to anywhere within 30-40mins by car. The cabins are nestled into rug forest and it’s lovely and calm. Rooms are quaint and just right. Breakfast was exceptional. The hospitality was superb. I really liked the WhatsApp group for easy access to suggestions and advice.

You need to have no privacy issues if staying with another person as the toilet has no door if curtain and the room is small enough, you might want to step outside to give them some personal time.

The breakfast was a selection of everything I love to eat. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, breads, cereal s, Amazing coffees of your choice, and eggs made any style. The hosts was friendly and helpful with all things asked. Can’t get over the wonderful sound of the birds everywhere.

I didn’t like the old taxi driver that dropped me off. Made the woman walk out of her way further to carry my heavy suitcase. It’s called old world chauvinism!

What an adventure! I can't say enough good things about Carla and the staff. We had a gorgeous "pod" high above the forest with a sea view. Amazing location! Incredibly beautiful surroundings. It was extremely windy and rainy on the days we were on Terceira, so we didn't get to go as many places as we wished. Be aware, this is very open plan, with no door on the bathroom. Also, if you are older or less mobile, it's a hike up through the forest. The creators of this place really took so much into consideration, and it's extremely private, quiet and every place you look is gorgeous.

Super friendly staff, exceptional nature location which is really well integrated, respecting it's surroundings. If this is your style, you will love it. Pool looked nice also, wish we could have enjoyed it. Breakfast delicious with local ingredients.

This type of accommodation means you have to forfeit other things. No lift, so only stairs (although they have a small rope lift for luggage) . And a small bungalow specially if you have 1 or 2 kids and many bags. Again, not an issue if you are OK with this. Location is hard to reach, but worth it.

The setting is great - you are surrounded by bush and even tree ferns. Very quiet. We booked a lodge with sea view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The staff was great, especially Carla, who gave us a lot of good suggestions, what to visit, where to eat etc.The breakfast is 5 star! We would come back anytime.

If they would put a window glass with a thin curtain ( you can open and close) instead of the milky glass in between the bedroom and the shower, the room would be much brighter. It is quite dark, when it's raining.

The location was wonderful and Carla and the team were so welcoming and excellent hosts. Being so close to nature is a must and if you need anything (reservations etc), the staff help quickly. I wouldn't say there is anything I didn't like but I'd add a few things for future guests: Have free bottles of water in the room upon arrival Have a dehumidifier in each cabin (the air con probably had this setting but I may have missed it). Add robes to the room..

Beautifully designed cabins in a lush forest near Biscoitos. It was very quiet (only sounds of nature!) and clean, the shower was hot and very good. A real delight was to wake up, open the windows, and to be surrounded by the nature! The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Great views from the cabin and the breakfast area. All the staff were very helpful and nice.

We are so happy we found that gem! The staff especially Carla are unique and really great! The breakfast is made with love and organic. The cabins are cosy and beautiful! We were treated all the way in person or via Whatsapp in an really incredible way. Even as a frequent traveller who has seen a lot I only can say - come here, stay here!
