The first thing that impressed us was the warm welcome and helpfulness we received when we checked in to the motel late in the day after our original accomodation plans changed suddenly. It was easy to communicate with the motel manager and she was sympathetic to our situation, which was most helpful. The rooms were serviced cheerfully every day and the hospitality and friendliness continued throughout our seven-day stay. This was the on-site daily manager and she was a pleasure to deal with. She obviously loved her job. We would go back to stay there again in a heartbeat.

Location, cleanliness, staff and flexibility as we ended up being a day late, and there was no issue re changing our date.

The room took a long time to warm up, and the electric blanket controllers were tucked under the mattress, so we didn't find them until the following morning. Our mistake, and my suggestion is to add some info about electric blankets into the information folder.

It was nice and clean and close to everything we needed and nice and there was no noise at night, so slept well at night and liked how it there was lights all around the motel it made you feel safe at night time and really like oxford 😀

Nothing not to love.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent motel in a country town. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The check in was easy and friendly. it was well equipped and also had chairs outside for convenience for smokers and to enjoy the evening.

Oxford is a lovely little town and convenient for Christchurch airport. Easy check in and parking outside accommodation, which was really spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. Superb location in town and really convenient for eateries, Fresh Choice supermarket and shops. Plenty information in the room about local area.

Nothing at all.

Very clean, spacious, comfortable. The gentlman that works there does the great job!! Thank you Sir. This is not a motel with stinky room and worn carpets, this is new, clean and enjoyable place to be in. When we entered our room there was a light smell of some kind of fragrance or air freshener and that instantly gave us the "someome is taking care of this place" feeling. Obviously the place has been renovated recently , all furniture is still fresh and pleasant to the eye and touch. The proper example how should motels look amd be run here in NZ.Great job Oxford Motel!!

We did a stop at Oxford on our way to queenstown and it was pleasant. Not much to see as it is really small but the motel unit was very well. Check in and support from the staff was just great! Very kind and very helpful staff! This made our stay enjoyable!

Local pub was recommended for dinner and we had a lovely meal there. Had breakfast at the diner next door and enjoyed it very much. Our room was spacious, quiet and warm with good kitchen etc. Could happily stay much longer next time.

Very comfortable beds, central location, quiet (Rooms 4 and 6), friendly staff, clean, great location for us as a short drive to the start of walking tracks, good facilities. Off road parking. Great black out curtains.
