Nice traditional hotel, very close to Salzburg. The location is perfect not only to go to town, but around you can find perfect possibilities for walking. The ZOO park is also very close. The breakfest is very large and realy tasty, you can enjoy it on a beautiful peaceful terrace. The parking is sufficiently large. Good idea is to recommend the restaurant in surrounding area (hotel provides with breakfest only), we used one suggestion and we were very satisfied with the quality of food and excellent service. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bathrooms are spacious also.

I understand, that the hotel has its rules, but if you have the dog with you (because hotel accepts pets) and it's not allowed to take him in the dinning room, it can be complicated. The weather was nice, so we enjoyed the breakfest outside, but in the case of the rain, we would either skip the breakfest or we would have to eat separately.

The staff were very helpful and friendly when there. The room was very nice with spectacular views from the balcony. Breakfast was very good.. Was able to put motorcycle under carport. Easy access to bus. Very quite. All in all we enjoyed our stay..

The room and balcony was over the smoking area.. and smoke would come into the room.

The hotel is in a quiet area just outside of Salzburg. It was easily accessible by car. It’s close to nearby restaurants you can walk to. We had an amazing view of the Alps from our balcony. Breakfast was really good. The beds were comfortable. In walking distance (about 1.8 km) are the Hellbrunn Palace and Hellbrunner Park. An amazing place for walking and relaxation. The staff was very polite and willing to help. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the bus which takes you to old town Salzburg. We were able to buy our Salburg Card at Reception

They seem to be a little short staffed. Sometimes, there's no one at Reception to answer questions (these hours are posted). Also, our room had 1 table too many, it was crowded in there.

This hotel was an amazing find while trying to save money visiting Salzburg. The zoo is a few minutes drive away. The rooms are spacious. There are plenty of amazing restaurants nearby. The whole town is walkable and quite beautiful during Christmas.

We had to book a hotel in a neighboring town for an affordable stay in Salzburg, no fault of the hotel! The receptionist was busy working so it took a few minutes to check-in, but they were extremely friendly, helpful, and overall amazing. I had no issue waiting for them to get through the other work they had to take care of guests.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. Loved sitting outside and enjoyed the mountain view. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Nice balcony! Loved the 3 min walk to bus stop which took us to Hellbrunn castle and Saltzburg!! Also the neighborhood was beautiful to take an evening stroll.

Great place to explore Salzburg with easy and affordable access by bus into city centre. Also great for follow on travels south via Werfen for Sound of Music Trail and Hohenburg Castle (location of Shloss Adler in Where Eagles Dare). Great breakfast and good for a safe, quiet and convenient parking location.

I got upgraded from a single to double, which was nice. I liked the layout of the room and the traditional style building. It was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was good

They seemed understaffed. Reception not manned on arrival or departure. Barely had any interaction with the staff.

Stayed in the hotel for one night in the middle of the longer road trip. It was the best. Personal is very nice. Quiet surroundings. The hotel is very cozy and rooms are very nice. We have Mountain View from our room. 15 minutes walk to the Zoo and nice park to walk a dog. Breakfast is good. A spa after the long trip was really appreciated! And that is sweet that it is possible to stay with a dog (+15 € per night) Generally, it is made to help you to become relaxed!

Everything was perfect

It was a perfect stay. If you're looking for a rustic experience, this is the place. Very cute, cozy hotel and I enjoyed the room's furniture quite much. Rooms were comfortable and renovated yet very cute and old-style. The hotel is located in extremely quiet place, surrounded by nature and horse farms. You can have long walks, also Salzburg zoo is very near. Breakfast is very delicious. I recommend %1000.

I'd wanted a kettle in the room indeed.
