We had an excellent stay at this lodge, and we can't recommend it enough. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering stunning views that truly made the experience unforgettable. The facilities were all in perfect condition, and everything was exactly as advertised—nothing was missing! It was clear that the property is well-maintained, and the attention to detail made our stay very comfortable. The small touches, like the well-equipped kitchen and modern amenities, added to the overall experience. We particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the serene environment—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Despite for minor points, our stay was absolutely fantastic. The lodge's combination of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent facilities made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with everything they need at their fingertips!

A couple of small suggestions for improvement: Air Fryer: The air fryer in the shared kitchen room could use an upgrade, as it was in poor condition with some rust on the tray. A new one would definitely enhance the experience for guests who enjoy cooking. Mini Restaurant: We noticed the lodge has a small restaurant, which is a great addition! It would be helpful if this were highlighted more in their listings, as it could attract more guests looking for dining options on-site. Road Access: The road to the lodge is a bit steep, and we needed assistance from staff to exit the lodge. Improving the road access would make it easier for guests to navigate, especially those not accustomed to hilly terrain

Great valley and mountain view just outside your room. There’s a spacious open air common area to hang out, equipped with wooden benches & tables for the guests to enjoy. We even cooked and ate there. Water pressure is good. Shared kitchen is well equipped and clean! Room is suitable for number of guests. Toilet is the seated type. Toilet bidet & overhead shower have good water pressure. Theres ceiling fan available. Staffs were very helpful! I’m so thankful one of the staff helped me with the car when it got stucked on the way out.

The stair to upstairs rooms is quite steep so consider booking the downstair rooms if u plan to travel with elderly or people with bad knees. The soundproofing is not that good so u could hear your neighbours. For me not a big issue because i can sleep soundly in that kind of situation. Bring your earplugs. The road to the lodge is not well maintained better not driving lowered cars to this place. Suggest to use an suv or better 4x4. During my stay, there was 1 episode of power outage for about 1 hour in the morning.

The facilities and the amazing view. Nice room and very clean. The sharing kitchen has most of the cooking gadgets and utensils we need, including the lesung batu 👍😂 We made use of the kitchen really well.

One our first night, the power tripped for almost 4 hours. Luckily AC is not needed, but it interrupted the water pump from functioning. The road to the lodge is quite challenging too.

The cleaniness, the bed.

The sound proof is bad. The guests at upper level keep running even at late night. Also some late check in guests treat it as it is their own back yard, laughing shouting without care other guests are sleeping. The staff should tell them, it should be a quite lodge after 10pm like the hotel.

Booked two rooms here, a family room and 2 bed room. Luckily both are on the ground floor, next to each other. So convenient for us with small children. There's a shared kitchen available, complete with rice cooker, air fryer, fridge, cutleries and kitchen utensils. Love the view even though not facing Mount Kinabalu, but still breathtaking view.

Not facing the mountain, signboard not clear at night. The road is horrible but not just here, the road from Kota Kinabalu to Kundasang is horrible.

I like the cleanliness of the room and the beautiful valley view outside the room.

The road down to the property is a bit steep, felt unsave for a small car expecially during rainning time, if the road upgraded would be perfect to stay in.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay for the price we paid. The stunning mountain view was truly a highlight. The lodge provides a fully equipped kitchen for guests, allowing us to prepare our own breakfast while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. The kitchen is designated for Halal food only, making it very convenient for Muslim travelers. The room is thoughtfully equipped with an iron, ironing board, sejadah, qibla direction indicator, and other basic amenities. It is also conveniently located near Kundasang town, where you can buy groceries if you wish to cook. While we couldn't see Mount Kinabalu directly from the lodge as it faces another direction, a short walk to the roadside offers a breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu. We highly recommend staying at this lodge.

The room is not soundproof, and you can hear people singing karaoke at night. I also think the room feels a bit cramped. Unlike what is shown in the photo, it is somewhat misleading as the photo gives the illusion that the room is more spacious than it actually is.

Staying here has the authentic experience living in kundasang where you get to make friends and mingle with other stayers. The room given to us was exactly what we see in the pictures. Really clean and cosy. Location is situated near to petrol kiosk and food market near the roundabout. I got to enjoy the breathtaking views during sunset and sunrise. Prepare to wear your jacket as the temperature can get really cooling at night and early morning too. Also, love the friendly staff there where they helped me with the laundry service. If you are football fan, you may also stream live matches on their Astrosports :)

If you are staying on the ground floor, you can hear footsteps from the second level. I am guessing the cement is not soundproof. Also, my bed could feel the spring and I have already feedback about this to them. Overall it is still a pleasant stay.
