Loved the beds and shower and bathroom were perfect, very cozy feeling as you enter the room , great space in wardrobes and plenty of storage in nightstands for your belongings. Staff were very friendly. Loved the included breakfast in the morning and thought the eggs were perfect. Great selection of fruits and cereals and fast efficient service with coffee, tea , toast and more. The location is situated right on the beach near all the attractions and shops and 5 mins away from the train station. Couldn't have asked for a better experience !

Nothing at all

Absolutely brilliant location with ease of access to everything. Clean and spacious room with added heater extension which came in handy. Super positive and polite & helpful staff. You can see the sunrise from the common area and the beach is just at your doorstep. Very reasonable pricing for this location and I cannot wait to come back.

The hotel is a little outdated so if you're looking for fancy accommodation this is not it, however, if you just need a place to sleep, the rooms are clean with a good amount of space and clean showers. The hotel doesn't have a lift so it isn't wheelchair accessible to the rooms, however, if you're carrying luggage the staff can help to get them to your room.

The rooms (stayed twice in 7 days) were attractive and comfortable (102 & 108). Plenty of space and 102 had a sea view. After 4pm many of the cars (day trippers) move away and then there are plenty of parking places within a few yards walk. Parking is free between 4pm and 10am. Road side parking is free about half a mile down the promenade towards the Little Orme.

No tea making facilities in the room. First impressions mean a lot and going up the stairs to the first floor is a very bad impression. Carpet is threadbare and on one step coming away from the gripper rod - not fixed between Sunday (1st visit) and Friday for my second visit. having stayed here around one year ago I did expect to see some tlc applied to the stairs.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The hotel is basic but well located being right on the promenade and near to main bus stops and within walking distance of the railway station. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I am assuming this is a family run hotel. You can get hot porridge and a variety of cooked eggs as part of the breakfast as well as fruit juice, a range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread, toast and preserves. I will stay again.

I was in room 302 on the top floor. I could not get the heating to work. Also be aware that there is no lift. The communal areas could do with a clean up and paint job. Some of the carpets on the staircase are quite worn.

Perfect Location, Great size room with En suite ,Sea view .Bed made every day , bins emptied both Optional no extra charge .Every could need in room . Staff were polite, Friendly and Very helpful. Breakfast was simple Choice of different cooked Eggs ,Toast /Jams , Juices, Cereals , Fruit juices Tea, Coffee Herbal Teas set us up for the Day .Parts of the Hotel little unkempt in Places ..Stair Carpets ..Loose Bathroom tap ,Marks on Bedroom furniture but all only cosmetic...nothing that would or did spoil our Stay ...and would stay again .

The staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist when we arrived. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The sea view was beautiful, I loved the size of the windows and the ease of opening them. The hotel was very warm. I found the staff to be very polite, friendly and helpful.

I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast, went down to expect the choice of a full English, but only had the choice of continental and eggs on toast, but something was better than nothing. I presume they was having kitchen reservations. The halls and landings could do with a clean and luck of paint, but the room was much better. The lock on the bathroom didn’t work and the tile in there was cracked, but neither affected our stay.

I was anxious about our stay in Elsinore Hotel after I had read the 1 star reviews... We stated 2 nights in room 104. The room was clean, the bathroom too. There were a kettle, coffee & tea, hairdryer and a TV. Everything was working in the room. The reception staff was very kind. The breakfast was coffee or tea, eggs, and toast as it is advertised. There were a choice of cereals, fruits, and yoghurt. I was confused why people wrote 1 star reviews about this hotel. Ok, the carpet on the stairs are very old, needs to change, but I think the hotel staff is doing their best to make this 2-star hotel a better place.

The bed was not as comfortable as I usually like it.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely excellent, providing easy access to key attractions and amenities, which made getting around very convenient. For the price, it offers exceptional value for money, with comfortable accommodations at an affordable rate. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on location or comfort.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues with cleanliness during our stay. We noticed small holes in both the bedsheet and the duvet, which was disappointing. More concerning, we found a tiny piece of glass on the floor, which ended up striking my foot. Thankfully, it didn’t cause serious harm, but it could have been worse. I strongly recommend that the staff take more care in thoroughly cleaning the rooms and ensuring that the bedding is inspected for any damage before guests arrive. Attention to these details would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

There have been several very poor reviews for this hotel so we were a little apprehensive before we got there but he room was very clean and warm. The bathroom was good to. The TV had more channels that normally available in hotels. We did manage to get wifi in our room despite the web indicating it was only available in public areas of the hotel. Breakfast room was also clean and well presented. The breakfast itself was also acceptable Staff very friendly. I think for the money paid it was more than acceptable. It is after all at the budget end of hotels. We would have no problems staying there again.

The Reception / stairs could do with some refurbishment

Having already read the reviews we knew it wasn't the best. But for the price, location and the fact that we would only use the Hotel for sleeping we booked it any way. I have to say we were quite happy with our choice. We stayed in the first floor seaview rooms. There is no elevator. The Elsinor is very dated and tired. It does need completely modernising. But, it was clean, the staff were very pleasant and extremely attentive. The beds and pillows definitely need an upgrade but we were comfortable enough. There were Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. The towels were changed each day and the room cleaned. The bathroom had a small bath with a shower which was quite difficult and dangerous to get into as it had nothing to hold onto. I feel it would have been better as a shower unit.. The sink vanity unit was too big and left insufficient room to use the toilet without having to sit sideways. But they were clean and the water was hot. There was also a good choice of hot or cold breakfast served everyday included in the price.

There was nothing I really didn't like. Just upgrades I think would serve the Hotel better.
