I booked this hotel as i was looking for something with parking that can accommodate 5 of us in 1 room and not with shared toilets, we got it.. I like the beds.. they were the most comfortable beds and pillows we had here in our trip in europe.. Room was reasonably clean and it had a bath which the kids used. Owner was very friendly and tries to help always especially with the parking. Before we arrive, i read a review and i actually had doubts in staying there but it turned out good.. really depends on what are u looking for.

Parking was on the street.. Would need a rearranging i think as It was a bit creepy because of all the antiques and the statues. Overall it was a good stay.. thank you

I loved the old 1600s/1700s vide. The rooms and the view were beautiful. The staff were great and friendly. The location was perfect with it being a 15 minute walk to the Altstadt.

There was no mirror in my room so I had to use the shared floor bathroom for everything. However, it’s not as bad as it may seem because you can lock the door and use it for yourself. The only other thing that was a little inconvenient is that they shut off the WiFi from 24:00-7:00.

Beautiful old building with quirky rustic interior. Comfortable bed. Great location to walk to the centre through the tunnel.

Be prepared to cope with stairs with your luggage, but the owner was very kind and helped with our bags on arrival. Parking cam be difficult nearby.

I love this place. It is in a very old building and very rustic home style. Don't stay here if you want to be pampered and coddled. Do stay here if you want to be at your grandma's place. The location is great. A tram/bus stop is just a few minutes' walk and will take you anywhere. Lots of great things are within walking distance. SAFE! This is a safe place, and safety is my #1 priority, I am a scientist/writer, and I spent an evening writing on the patio. My gosh it doesn't get better! I highly recommend this property. It is SAFE, a great location and also a great value! I plan to come back to Salzburg with my wife next time. Staying at this Haus is/will be part of the experience I want to share with her

There we issues with the laundry. Nothing major ;)

The atmosphere is second to none, it is really old and authentic. The owners are the best! Super helpful and responsive. We asked for extra dishes and got everything, no problem. Cheap and tasty breakfast in a cosy room with the owners. The rooms are not that big, but bright and very warm. The furniture is antique, and you feel like you have travelled back in time. Lots of toys for children and a small playground - a great place for a family visit. It is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and there are good restaurants nearby, which the host will be happy to recommend.

This is an old building, so don't expect 5-star perfect halls and rooms; the stairs creak and the soundproofing is not the best, but we knew where we were going, so it was all positive for us (authenticity), not a minus at all, just a warning to people who expect something different and get disappointed by unfulfilled expectations (not us! We were thrilled!).

Very interesting place, my girlfriend found it a little bit creepy but I liked it. The accommodation is located in a walking distance to the city center. The staff was very kind and helpful and it was seen that they are trying their best. The house and room are equipped with the old antique furniture and paintings, which creates a special mood.

Not the cleanest place. The room was full of dust everywhere. The pillows, sheets and towels are also were with stains which remained even after washing. But the bathroom and WC were clean, no remarks there.

Very beautiful old house with old furniture and decorations etc. (we personally really liked and it is a very unique experience but different from a regular hotel so be aware) Friendly helpful staff (family run and good vibes). Good location, bus station to get to the city centre is a 3 minute walk. Bus ride to city is about 15 minutes.

We were in the appartment and some of the cutlery wasn't very clean so we had to wash it before using it and we couldn't get the dish washer to work. Won't be a problem if you stay in a hotel room.

We felt very welcome. We simply couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone was very kind and very willing to accommodate. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean. The pillows and bed and comforters were very very comfortable. The location was perfect. 3-4 minute walk to transit and a few stops into the center. We bought a pass at the tobacco shop in the train station on the way in, hopped on the bus and right to the hotel. If you are looking for a five star hotel, this probably isn’t the spot but if you are looking for a comfortable authentic stay that is both quiet and close to everything, this was a perfect hotel for us. We had to leave a bit early and I hated to do so.

The location was excellent for me. It was within walking distance of the center and had easy access to the bus line for the center and the airport. It is just off the main road, so the traffic is not distracting. The house itself is old and charming, historical and that is what you should expect - it might not be everyone's type. I quite liked it and that is how it was advertised. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable by my standards. However, I even got an unexpected free upgrade from the host which was a welcome surprise.

Our room was charmingly furnished with antiques and religious art which we thoroughly enjoyed! The building is great, the location is perfect for walking into Salzburg, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also appreciated being able to check-in early, share a room with our three children, and have a good breakfast downstairs. And they were happy to let us leave our bags for the morning so we could walk around a bit before we had to leave to catch our train. Truly an accommodating place! It’s a very homelike, welcoming property!
