The location of the bed and breakfast is excellent, near the lake with beautiful scenery. The exterior walls of the B&B are covered with windmill jasmine, which is fragrant and lovely, making it very pleasant. There are also free parking spaces available.

We booked two rooms, and the bathroom in one of the rooms had a bit of a leak. The breakfast was very poor, with no eggs and no hot water. The host was also not very friendly.

A beautiful villa with amazing views. We stayed in a double room and it was perfect in every way. Bed comfortable, room was spacious, fan available to use in the room, bathroom was spacious, there was plenty storage, everything was available that we could need. Breakfast was plentiful, a lot of variety and great to have fried or hard boiled eggs. The coffee was very good. Anita even packed us a take away snack as we had a very early morning flight. She is one in a million, so nice and really looks after her guests. All in all excellent place to stay.

The site overlooks very beautiful places. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The owner of the place was kind and cooperative. Her son is a professional violinist - we loved hearing him play the Beethoven and Mendelssohn concerts in preparation for his participation in some concerts in China.

In the courtyard of the place, under the balcony of our room, there is a large and beautiful Brazilian ara enclosed in a cell that is too small. It hurt us!

We found this unique gem of a place on the 20th September h osted by the wonderful Anita and her husband Giovanni. The view from the terraces of Lake Como were fantastic and wish we could've stayed longer but we will return to Villa Anita just to see the hosts x

The host wasn’t very friendly. She’s looking at you like she doesn’t want you to be the ere. However, by the end of our stay we realized that’s just how she looks, she doesn’t mean bad. Lovely place overall.

Quite a quirky B and B, very relax feel to the place. Look out for the Witch on arrival! Host gave us a quick run down of facilities, breakfast times etc and how to get to town. Room was nice (blue room) which had a ceiling fan which helped at night, good shower. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Fresh rolls delivered that morning. Great view from balcony. Parking just down road. Easy walk to town for restaurants etc.

Very homey B&B with comfortable rooms & bathrooms, charming hosts and home-made breakfast cakes [eggs if you want them] and a wonderful view of the lake from the guest veranda and from the rooms with a balcony. Private parking. Near the main north-south road so a great way to avoid the expensive lodging prices in Varenna or worse, Bellagio, if you have a car. Bellano is quiet but has a pleasant lake-side promenade with some very good restaurants and gelaterias.

My only complaint was that they allow dogs, and the small, brutish beasts staying in 2 of the rooms while we were there could not tolerate the existence of other dogs, so there was way too much barking. For staying here, as for many locations around the lakes, you will want to have rented a small, nimble car for negotiating the hairpin turns on narrow roads.

Does this terrace have the best view around Lake Como? I certainly think so! The lake itself is within a walking distance, although you should be prepared for going up a hill on your way back to Villa Anita. Breakfasts are hearty and abundant in italian pastries, sausages, cheeses and fresh veggies, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable.

Elena and Giovanni are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing with fabulous views of Lake Como. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent with a wide range of pastries, homemade cakes, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Elena is happy to order pizza to be delivered, which you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the lake. The village of Bellano is pretty and has everything you need. Can be reached by a ten minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Beautiful place. Very friendly owner. Amazing view. Comfortable room, we had everything, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast. Location is good, close to shops and restaurants.

Was little cold night time. Would be good to have some duvets.
