The location to Universal Studios was amazing. Literally a 1 minute walk and you're at the park gates. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And being so close to the train station (literally the first hotel as you walk out) was great when you have two kids who are generally knackered after a long say of exploring and train hopping. Plenty to eat for kids in the area aswell, all right outside your door. You can also catch the return ferry to Osaka Aquarium which was awesome, so nice to be out on the water.

The pillows were so hard! It seems to be a Japanese thing in hotels but their pillows were terrible, very uncomfortable. It was also a little bit of a hassle being out of Osaka meaning there was always a couple of train stops to get back but once you figure out the trains and being right next to your last stop it wasn't so bad.

Hotel in great location for universal Studios so helped with access to the park, it’s also a couple minutes walk to Universal city line for train access which was great. The area was great and had plenty of restaurants and shops plus a Lawson convenient shop just outside which made it easy to access food options. The Staff were very helpful the moment we arrived and always available to help with any questions The Breakfast options were great as well and having this set up in two areas really helped ensure you didn’t have to wait long. Airport transfers were great as well coming from Osaka Itami bus drops and picks you up near Universal entrance which made life easier with 3 kids getting to the hotel

Not a big issue Pillows little uncomfortable but you get use to them

The customer service was awesome and polite, and they also had an English speaking staff to help with my stay. The beds were really comfortable, the rooms were very clean, the A/C worked fabulously, and the restrooms were fully stocked with amenities to make you vacation a little more comfortable. We also were able to do laundry, which to our surprise was nice. It was in the perfect location in Universal city, and there was a convenient store on the bottom floor right outside of the hotel. The garden restaurant in the hotel has a variety of food that is suitable for everyone in my family. Their staff was very nice as well. The hotel also had an Onsen on the top floor for those who wanted to relax in Japanese style bathroom. The hotel also had locker storage and luggage transport that made it really convenient for people wanting to ship their luggage to another hotel for their stay, such as we did.

The size of the room is a little small, but it's duable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Keihan Universal Tower! 🌟 Everything exceeded our expectations — from the perfect location to the warm and attentive service. The staff were incredibly polite, kind, and thoughtful, always ready to help with a smile. The room had everything we needed and more, including high-quality toiletries and even special amenities for children — such as kids’ slippers, pajamas, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and sponges. We’ve never experienced such attention to detail for families with kids! Breakfast was a true highlight. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The beef steak, in particular, was absolutely fantastic — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The hotel atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with stunning views and great facilities. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would happily come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Universal Studios Japan! 💛

What can one say, location cannot be beat it is at the doorstep of Universal Studios and has all the dining and entertainment anyone could want if you like theme parks. If you are not into theme parks, you can stay there it is a fantastic hotel, but I probably would not recommend it as there isn't much else in the area without getting onto a train and heading into Osaka. I love this hotel as the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and recently having undergone a renovation the room we stayed in still had the brand-new carpet smell and everything just looked fresh and new, we loved it. We took the breakfast option in our booking and as before (this was not our first stay at this hotel) we were delighted with range and freshness of the buffet, I would rate it as 8.5 to 9/10. Staff were super professional and very helpful; we loved our stay here and will come again for the third time.

Great location for families who are visiting the USJ. You will find restaurants and stores by the hotels doorstep and USJ is just across the street. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

If you need a taxi, make sure to order yourself before -hand. We asked the staff to fix one for us and gave clear message that we need a big car because we had 4 big suitcases with us. When we came outside they said we need to split in 2 cars, I asked what about a big car and they said for that we need to order with 1 day in advance. So we had to pay double for the transport.

Nothing to dislike at all Everything was as described and seen in the photos. Literally came off the train and the hotel was just as we left the station. Rooms were excellent and really comfy had everything we wanted. Staff were all wonderful, and we had a really great time at the theme park. It was so nice after a long day to grab some food at the shops lots to choose from but we went to Hard Rock Cafe, food was great. Then a short walk to the hotel. A wonderful few days.

The facilities, location and service were excellent. We were surprised with the spacious room we had after coming from smaller spaces in Tokyo and Osaka Namba area. Views from the room were amazing too! It was so close to the station, Universal studios and many food options and Lawson. It was nice to just walk back from the long day at Universal Studios and have the hotel right there. Staff were always kind and pleasant and the hotel room had everything you needed. We would stay again!

I loved everything about this property! So close to the train station Universal City 🎢 and under 10mins walk to USJ entrance. You have all fast food chains on downstairs in the main boulevard if you would like to have more alternatives apart from the hotel. The hotel is stunning! The service is impeccable, kind and helpful! They assisted with looking at a company to transfer an extra large luggage to the airport hotel… excellent service! Facilities we amazing and the onsen is very large in the Top floor with wonderful view to the river. There is a small charge to access the onsen but is well worth for the lovely the experience after a busy and long day in the park.

Rooms were small. No closets or storage. Had to put suitcases on bed to open . Small table had to sit on the floor to use. Had to leave a key in for power or light and air shut off. It's not major but brings you down to having only one key. Had a triple room for 3 guests would not recommend with 5 bags of luggage, no space. Bed were comfortable just too low to the ground. 5 feet 6, 6ft.2, and 6ft.4 just are our height hard to get up.
