We have stayed here before and again the stay was most enjoyable with exceptional staff and service. Dinner was excellent. Although the location is not quite as ideal for us compared to some other luxury hotels in London, in this district you can park your car for free right next to the hotel at the weekend from 13:30 on a Saturday.

A minor comment is that vegetarian sausages are not available if you like a full English Breakfast and don't eat meat, this seems to be in common with other 5 star hotels.

The hotel was stunning, really luxurious without feeling pretentious. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and even remembered our names. The concierge were really helpful to assist with making plans. The location of the hotel is perfect - we walked to the palace, it was close to nice food places, and for everything else we hopped onto the tube at Victoria which was 5 mins away. It was just me and my 4 year old son so it made a huge difference having a welcoming and helpful team look after you. We had room service breakfast which whilst wasn't cheap, was exceptional and we loved eating in our robes. We loved our experience at The Goring thank you!

Always a favourite with our family, the Goring did not disappoint. Staff exceptional and every wish carried out with attention to detail. Loved sitting by the roaring fire having drinks and snacks in such a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Staff at breakfast were first rate and the food was absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend. Comfy bed and lovely complementary fruit in the room.

Room on the small side and toiletries very strong scent that we did not like.

The welcome to the departure the staff are attentive to your needs. They room was small but decorated lovely and very clean. The bar is lively and the drinks were great served with lots of recommendations. The breakfast is superb in a tranquil atmosphere. I have had lunch there numerous times which is wonderful, let to try dinner but will be back before Christmas to try the Michelin star food!@

Nothing! The stay could not been better as it was my partners birthday weekend. We were given complimentary drinks and a whole bottle of champagne in the room which was a lovely gesture.

All trains were cancelled so within 20 minutes of calling the Goring we arrived and were well looked after. We have stayed before And it never disappoints

Our room number 48 was too warm for sleeping and with the window open because we were on the front of the hotel the road was very noisy

We had such a warm welcome from door staff and reception which continued throughout our stay.Delighted on arrival to learn our room was upgraded. We felt it was a special experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel but it also had such a homely feel.

Disappointed to be only staying for one night ...would definitely like a return trip to stay here.

The Goring has a private garden, and croquet lawn. Sitting there having a drink in the afternoon sunshine was nothing short of bliss. I imagine the only other person around here who has their own garden is their neighbor King Charles!

Honestly nothing.

The hotel is flawless. Enjoyed everything about it the bar, the dining room, restaurant, the tea room, and especially the bedroom with the turndown service. Was a delight, returning to the room at night to have the classical music playing with a Goring sheep on my bed.

From the greeting at the door onwards was fabulous. Staff were very attentive. Food delicious. The only thing was the price on booking. Com was less than the actual price which was rather embarrassing. Booking.com need to be more transparent.

Everything was perfect. Not keen on the light fittings in the dining room! Beautiful in their own right but not in keeping with the classical architecture & decor 😊

Great service and very attentive and helpful staff. You are treated with great hospitality, as you expect in such place. Legendary hotel which give you remarkable experience!

Though you may order everything to your room, it would be great to have coffee/tea set available in the room
