It is the perfect location; the bed is comfortable for one guest, and the view of the 15th floor on the east side is astonishing. Superb Customer Service. Facilities are new, clean, well-maintained, and preserved.

Most likely, the previous guest who used the room had a powerful body odor that remained in the bath space, unfortunately. I assume most guests are Asians, so the body odor is not a concern for the cleaning bath part. Not being racist here, but that's a true biological reality and scientifically proven. I would not blame the staff or the hotel for this, but it was unfortunate I had during my stay. Even so, I rate 10 out of 10.

The location is excellent it is on the train station. The hotel lounge is comfortable and have a good view.

The breakfast is not grand.

Location is great once you've figured out the route from the main station it is quite easy to get to. Being on top of the station and mall it has everything you need on the doorstep. The lobby had this amazing smell (they must pump fragrance into it!) Our room was a little tight but it was very modern, had a lovely little Japanese tea pot and the most fantastic floor to ceiling window and view. The breakfast buffet had a decent amount of vegetarian options and then French toast was divine!

Nothing to complain about. Didn't have enough time in Sendai/North Japan so will be back again and would definitely stay in this hotel!

Room is spacious enough to let me open up 2 suitcases. (I had a queen bed) Bathroom is well equipped with a great shower & a sensible layout. Bed was firm & not sagging from over-use. And the location is amazingly convenient for Shinkansen users. Not only that, the hotel provided baggage forwarding service to our next hotel in Tokyo. Good job. Staff warm & super-helpful.

The dust coating the ledge at the head of the bed. And under the chairs. Could do with a more thorough vacuum at least once in a while. That was the let-down of an otherwise, a most pleasant experience. 3

The best part of the hotel is its location, which makes it extremely convenient to reach or go anywhere. The room was as clean as I’d expect from many Japanese hotels. However, the inside of the kettle was spotless, which was a little surprising. There was one interesting shower feature: in addition to the showerhead and bath faucet, there was a fixed spray in the middle that rotated and sprayed water at your body. It was fancy, but from my perspective, not really necessary.

The hotel is located at the east entrance to Sendai station, a short 3 min walk from the Shinkansen platform all clearly sign posted. The entrance is at the east end a beautiful mall full of delicious food shop that runs from the station to the hotel. The entrance is on level 3, so is the restaurant , smoking room and toilets. The reception is on the 4th floor up the escalators. The staff are like most hotels I have stayed at in Japan, very friendly and super helpful. You can leave you bags there before check-in and after check-out to save you carting them around with you. I did not use the restaurant while I was there, but I did look inside and it looked and smelt beautiful. The rooms where a decent size for a lone traveller, I had the single room queen size bed. My view on the 8th floor was magnificent looking along the main road heading east with a gorgeous sunrise in the morning through the floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom had a seperate wet room with a large bath and shower with 5 shower heads. The room had the usual amenities plus a trouser press, drip coffee machine, large screen TV and a case iron teapot for own tea ceremony. All in all a great hotel to stay at in Sendai, I defiantly will be staying there again.

The only issue I had was not knowing that to have your room cleaned you must turn on the clean my room light (green). There are two buttons beneath your card key slot that you must turn on if you want you room cleaned or the red one for Do Not Disturb. You can have eco clean which is a magnet you stick on your door and they replace all your towels, tea and coffee and leave it on your door handle with out disturbing you.

This is a wonderful hotel in many ways. It is situated in Sendai Station so was perfect for us as we arrived by shinkansen. There are many entrances and exits from different parts of the station so it was easy to locate. Our room was large by Japanese standards, furnishings were new and the bathroom and toilet were amazing. We found that the hotel system of providing fresh towels and other amenities outside your room if you did not require daily servicing was a great idea. There was a room with free coffee and cold drinks next to reception which was very comfortable and had lovely views. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The hotel we stayed at boasted a contemporary and stylish aesthetic, which made it visually appealing and a pleasure to spend time in. Moreover, the room we were assigned was a delight, as it offered a breathtaking view of the beautiful cityscape. The combination of a modern atmosphere and a stunning view made our stay at this hotel a truly unforgettable experience. Additionally, its prime location directly adjacent to the station offers unparalleled convenience for those arriving by train or exploring the city's public transportation options.

The size of the room appeared to be inadequate for accommodating two individuals with a substantial amount of baggage. Despite their best efforts to organize and arrange the belongings, the limited space made it challenging to move around freely.

Ideally located just inside the Sendai station, this is a very nice hotel, very convenient. You have multiple exits leading inside the train station, on the taxi/bus platform or inside the food court of the adjoining mall, everything you could desire a few steps away.

Not really an issue of the hotel itself, but there are two Metropolitan Hotels at Sendai station itself. The Hotel Metropolitan, west of the station, and this one, the Hotel Metropolitan EAST on the east of the station (the most modern of the two). Don't get them confused.

The location is very good as it's connected to Sendai station. The room is very clean, well-furnished and comfortable.

The entrance to the hotel was hard to locate and better signs could have been posted to lead to the entrance. In the room, there was a sign saying that same day luggage transfer could be arranged to Tokyo til 11am same day, however when I went to enquire at the front desk they informed me that it wasn't available.
