We stayed at Antica Dimora B&B for one night whilst visiting Bergamo. The B&B is situated inside a historical Palazzo - and it's great to stay here if you're interested in history. The walls and ceilings are covered in frescos - truly marvellous. Our room (the suite - Room Sofia) was large and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom (which could be accessed from 2 separate doors) was of adequate size too. Our room overlooked the street and despite this we managed to get a good night sleep. The breakfast offers a small variety of cold cuts, bread and pastries and is served in another very grand room. Our host, Matteo, was very helpful and communication with the B&B prior to and during the stay was excellent.

We spent three wonderful days at Antica Dimora and absolutely loved the whole experience. The room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a real blessing in the summer heat!), and the breakfasts were fantastic — fresh fruit, berries, delicious ginseng coffee, and some of the best croissants we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that great care goes into every detail. Thank you, Matteo, for your kindness and hospitality — I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Bergamo!

what a privilege to stay in this beautiful old building with a history of kings and queens staying! huge king size bedroom and living room and the dining room was like a museum with beautiful artwork on the roof and tables individually named and set according to your room name! Matteo the host so helpful in all aspects thankyou! its in a nice area in the lower town and gave us a chance to enjoy both upper and lower towns. Bergamo is amazing. we would stay there again in a flash! great car park in the inner courtyard and breakfast was perfect with fresh berries.

- Air conditioner worked badly , even night was not enough for it to cool room, at night it was rather hot and stuffy - Mini fridge in the room did not work properly as well - To adjust water in the shower is rather tricky thing - Early check out. But seems that it is common for Italy)

Room: Charming & spacious room with comfy beds. The shower heater is quite hard to operate although the owner explained well how to do it - it is still quite hard to get it correctly but not a major issue. Parking: They have private parking inside the courtyard Breakfast & Breakfast Room: The breakfast room is beautifully decorated, each table is set for each room with white & grey line set up. Good location of B&B - despite the fact that it is not located in the Città Alta, you can easily reach the old town with a nice walk or by bus. What is most important, B&B is located in a historic building and its interior design is exceptional - not everyday you have a chance to spend the night in a palace-like location. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped and the breakfast was great - you can rarely find such breakfasts in B&Bs in Italy. Extremely nice and helpful host. Highly recommended place!

Hello! The owner Matteo welcomed us very well and was very communicative. The hotel is close to the historic center with its own parking, which is very important in Bergamo, but for which you have to pay separately. There were many restaurants nearby with a wide selection. Breakfast is quite good, but could have been better with more on offer. The room is large with an appropriate ancient design, the bathroom is very spacious, but the shower is very narrow! The only thing I didn't like was the creaking door to the bathroom, especially it disturbed my sleep at night... But that's okay, I'll definitely go back there, Martins!

Antica Dimora is a refurbished storey within an antique palazzo in Bérgamo. After climbing the stairs to the first floor, where this b&b is located, one encounters a pleasant surprise - a wide, luminous corridor that leads you to the owner's desk and the bedroom. The four bedrooms in this bed&breakfast converge into a beautiful breakfast room, exquisitely decorated. The breakfast is good. The ceilings are works of art. The ambience is simply charming. Matteo, the owner, was attentive to our every need, always helpful. The location is excellent. One can easily walk and reach Bergamo's attractions and restaurants.

Amazing spacious old room with comfortable bed and a fantastic painted ceiling. Grand staircase. The shower room was big too and featured a jacuzzi type shower which was very nice. Some places to eat nearby.

We had a little bit of difficulty getting in to the place but after that we liked pretty much everything. We only stayed one night but wish we’d stayed longer. There seemed to be a lot of scented air diffusers in use which was a little overpowering at times. But overall very nice place to stay.

we loved the room and its size. comfortable bed with a nice setting. shower is big and equipped with hangers and shelves. the hotel has parking and the location is good. The room was very clean and with renovated old style, there was enough space to open two suitcases. Breakfast is served in a fancy setting and a nice selection to start the morning ! recommended !

the hotel is on the second floor with no elevator. something to consider if you travel with heavy luggage.. not enough electric plugs to connect for charging.. and no Netflix connection in the big screen TV in the room. (can be upgraded..)
