Room is so cozy and the bed is such very good quality and comfy. Premium bedding too. Better than many 4-5 stars hotels. Staff super friendly. DLR station is very close. The room was super clean.

The window is not double glazed, so it might be cold if you don’t close curtains. Luckly is not too busy street, some sounds come in, but nothing dramatic.

stayed here for four nights,the room is quite big. it has a small balcony.there is a TV, a chair, but no fridge in the room. breakfast at the pub is yummy, did try their full English breakfast both vegan or non vegan, also had sandwiches and burger there.the location is good, close to Greenwich and Thames river. you can admire the river all day in the nearby park. i visited Greenwich twice during the stay.Be noted that DLR line is quite slow,also sometimes will be no train service. so must have other method to go to the center,like bus or water taxi.the pub and accommodation connected to local history, worth a stay.highly recommended!

The room was much larger than I expected and well kitted out with a view to the river. The staff were super-friendly at check-in and at breakfast the next morning. Location is easy to get to and perfect for the O2 Arena - water taxi there and £7.50 Uber back. I only stayed there one night but would highly recommend - and if you enjoy a well-cooked start to the day, the Breakfast Burger is just exquisite! Will definitely use again for O2 gigs.

Not much to be honest. After-hours entry is via two back doors with different pin codes so make sure you keep them handy if you head out for the night - and the staircase is a bit iffy if you've had a few sherbets!

We spent one night here and were very satisfied! We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but one of the friendly staff members kindly offered to store our backpacks, which was a great help. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly prepared in the morning - it was delicious and we had several options to choose from. :) The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with easy access to public transport (DLR, buses). As two girls traveling, we felt completely safe. I would happily stay here again if I need accommodation in this area!

Everything was great, but during the summer heat, the room also got quite warm. The fan helped a lot, and we were able to sleep at night. (There’s no mosquito net on the window, so keeping it open wasn’t really an option.) However, if someone is sensitive to heat, it might be worth considering a different place during the summer. It didn’t bother us, as we didn’t spend much time in the room, and at night we placed the fan close to the bed, which made it perfectly fine for us.

Lovely pub with beautiful rooms above. Nice location short walk to cutty sark and uber boat.

The two codes to get in after 11pm were a pain as it was dark and I did struggle with them, I had no choice as I was at an event at the O2. 10am check out was a bit early, i think this would put me off booking again which is a shame as I really liked the hotel, I suffer with CFS so never good in the morning due to my meds, but hotel let me have an extra 30 mins but 11am check out would have been better.

The location of this pub is just a short 5 or 10 minute walk from the tube and was easy to find. It's right on the river too and a short distance from the foot tunnel which we used to go across to Greenwich during our stay. The welcome was friendly, genuine and informative. The room we had was spacious and characterful and had facilities for all our needs. The bed was especially comfy. Attention to detail was everywhere. Our included breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including vegetarian, the food good quality and served with a smile. We loved it here and will definitely be back to stay in the future.

The room was very nice. It was clean, apart from the bin not being changed. Location was near a church, a school, and the DLR station which connects to Canary Wharf. Can’t speak to how safe the area is as we took a taxi to avoid walking in the dark at 11pm. Full English breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfy. Staff were nice. I would stay here again.

Bin wasn’t changed, had an old cigarette packet in, some tissues and train tickets, left by the last guest I assume. Walls are thin, you can hear other guests. You can hear road traffic throughout the night.

Beautifully styled and spacious room, great location, incredible breakfast, and friendly staff. Highly recommend going for the slightly more expensive room due to the increase in comfort.

Stairs up and down, not accessible for those with mobility issues. The staff were lovely though and moved me to a first floor room (still up quite a few stairs though) so best to call ahead and request this. The bathroom is a little on the cold side, but this is to be expected in a listed historic building (and totally worth it for the floor-to-ceiling windows!!)

The Waterman’s Arms is located in a quiet part of London with a residential feel. Good links to public transport, buses, DLR, and River Bus stops within easy walking distance. The Thames and the beautiful river path with magnificent views is 30 seconds walk away, leading to the foot tunnel under the river to Greenwich and Greenwich Park. The pub itself is wonderful and the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was a good size, nice comfortable bed, and a small but well presented bathroom and shower which had a luxury feel. The included breakfast, was not a normal hotel or B&B breakfast. They have a restaurant style menu, with perfectly cooked options, which you can select from. We really enjoyed what we chose Drinks are extra. We would highly recommend staying here, and would love to come back soon

Brilliant staff - efficient but relaxed - and a characterful pub in a peaceful location. Very nice room and well designed compact ensuite. Welcome details such as heavy blackout curtains. A very good breakfast, lots of choice on the menu. Excellent value for money.

Only a slight niggle - being summer it would have been nice to have a window that could have been left open for the night rather than the balcony doors.
