We loved staying here. It was our first time to Positano. We went during the slower time of the year and we loved it. Less tourists, more locals. We had breakfast every morning on our balcony. Danilo was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

The taxis can be super pricy. To go anywhere it was at least 170 euros. Staying in positano for 8 days can be boring so if you venture out and find new things it’s so pretty. Also, the roads to positano are not for the weak of the stomach. I got so nauseous. So just beware of that!

everything from booking our car service from Naples, to getting there and getting into our room was seamless. it is very clean, and the service is fantastic. the views are incredible! the breakfast service is delicious and prompt daily. upon checking in we were informed that the family owns the hotel across the street as well and we were able to use their out door jacuzzi tub which was incredible! you are set apart from the very touristy area down below too which is very relaxing.

the hotel is higher up than I expected, so of course more stairs to get to. but that is no fault of the property. and worth it for the views.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Caprile and had the most incredible time. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their attentiveness truly made us feel at home. Our room had the most breathtaking views from a private balcony—complete with a hot tub! Watching the sunset from there was pure magic. The location is perfect—close to everything in Positano, yet still feels like a peaceful escape. And the breakfast? Out of this world! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared each morning. We can’t recommend Casa Caprile highly enough. It was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we’re already dreaming about coming back!

Beautiful room. Very clean. Great amenities for the size with lots of tea & coffee options. Reasonably priced bar-fridge. Staff were lovely and interested in your day, beautiful ocean views from the kitchen for breakfast. Sauna and hot tub on site which we didn’t get to use but was a lovely surprise!

The only thing I think should be flagged is the power outages that regularly occur in Positano. It’s out of their control and this isn’t necessarily a negative, but was very confusing for us not knowing what was going on/if it was one of our appliances.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the view from our terrace was simply amazing. We enjoyed a divine breakfast every morning on our balcony, which made the experience even more special. The location is ideal - quiet and peaceful, yet with lovely restaurants nearby, and just a 10-minute walk down to the center. The stairs were not a problem for us at all. Everything was excellent - we will definitely come back again!

Casa Caprile in Positano – an absolute dream come true! Our stay at Casa Caprile in April was more than just a vacation—it was pure magic! The apartment we stayed in was incredibly spacious and elegant but the real showstopper was the huge terrace with a heated jacuzzi pool—perfect for relaxing under the stars while gazing at the twinkling lights of Positano. And speaking of views—the panoramic vistas of the town and the Tyrrhenian Sea were breathtaking at any time of day*! Sunrise over the Amalfi Coast, painted in soft pastel hues, is a memory we’ll cherish forever. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast delivered straight to our room*—fresh croissants, juicy fruit, aromatic coffee, and local delicacies made each day start perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend Casa Caprile to anyone dreaming of a luxurious escape in one of Italy’s most beautiful corners. Every detail here is thoughtfully designed, making guests feel truly special. We can’t wait to return! 💙

We stayed for our honeymoon and were very kindly given a free upgrade to the Caprile Suite which was a beautiful suite with a balcony and terrace with hot tub. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, giving us everything we needed and more! We genuinely couldn’t fault it, our stay was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and we had a great selection to choose from. The suite had great facilities for tea and coffee, a minibar etc. We would love to return to Casa Caprile, it was the highlight of our trip to Italy, and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

There was nothing at all we didn’t like

We adore this hotel. It was our second time staying here and both times we have booked the King Suite with spa bath - just wow!! The room is huge with a large balcony and plunge pool. There is also a private courtyard out the back with lemon trees and a private entrance/exit to the room. The breakfast is phenomenal. The views are stunning from every window of the room and we love the location. The staff are also very lovely. We will keep coming back.

Breakfast was wonderful with a view and the staff was lovely. It was safe and fairly convenient, although so many stairs to get to, i think there were other hotels on our level as well. Clean and nice place

Didnt really effect us but if this matters to some we couldnt see out of the window as it was so high up and the wall separating the bathroom from the room didnt go all the way up to the ceiling so there was no sound barrier

Yall, this is the one right here. From the time we arrived, until we checked out and beyond (more on that soon), the experience at Casa Caprile was truly amazing. The staff are so warm and friendly. We got to check in early as our room was ready. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, so pleased and even better than the pictures. It felt like luxury at an affordable price. The sea view was incredible. Omg. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful! You get a long list and they bring you whatever you desire, we felt like royalty! The location is also pretty close to a few restaurants with limited stairs, we loved Caffe Positano and booked a shuttle to dinner at Il Ritrivo. When they say somewhere is 500-1000 steps to the beach - they mean it. Positano is not for the elderly or children in my opinion because the buses are too unpredictable and you have to be able to climb steep stairs. Anyhow, after we checked out, our previously booked taxi service completely bailed on us. The front desk Queen called us a new one and it came in less than 20 minutes. Casa Caprile goes above and beyond. You will love staying here.
