The breakfast was advertised as a 'continental breakfast' but was far better and substantial including hot items such as eggs, bacon, and potato scones. The room was spacious and the bed mattress was excellent - we both slept very well every night. Its a 30 minute walk to the old town along the waterfront so a good way to relax before dinner.

The safe was substantial but wasnt bolted to the wall, the clothes storage space was limited with nowhere to hang long ladies dresses and the minimbar/small fridge didnt work in our room.

It is an older property (although the annex is newer but without the views) Rooms on the front have an excellent view of the lake across the main road. The location is out of town at one end of the lake. Air-conditioning works well as does the double glazing so the road although busy does not interrupt a good nights sleep. Rooms are a little old-fashioned and a little basic, but everything is there and the price is very good. We stayed three nights and were given fresh towels every day which does not normally happen in much more expensive hotels. Everything very clean. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast at €16 and the hotel owns a nearby restaurant, the Irma, open every day with a good choice from an extensive and well priced menu, good seating and again excellent staff.

We did not have breakfast. So unable to comment. The location was good for the lake and view of the mountains. A pleasant walk into Annecy center. Would we stay here again. That is open for debate.

The room we were given was at the end of the 1st floor corridor, with a lovely view of the lake unfortunately we were woken up by some very noisy pedestrians at 2.30am so not such a great room to have There were no drink making facilities in the room. We found the staff rather abrupt when we said that breakfast was not required. I asked for our hot water flask to be filled with boiling water. Before we left in the morning. It was luke warm.

Such a lovely little hotel with a great feeling of being a home for a few days. Perfect location for me by the lake, quiet & comfortable… easy walk into the old town (40 minutes) along the edge of the magnificent lake. Excellent breakfast. Super clean & comfortable room. Secure parking behind a gate. Staff very nice & professional. Added bonus is high class restaurant across the street, connected with the great chef Paul Bocuse. I ate there both nights. Phenomenal waiting staff. I really lucked out with this place last minute!

Nothing at all

Nice hotel on edge of Lake Annecy. Room was clean and comfortable and the bed was very good. Decor seemed to be fairly fresh, clean and modern. We had a nice little patio area (room 6) and the free, secure parking is a proper bonus. Gorgeous garden with seating was a very nice area to chill. The guy that was behind the reception desk on the two afternoons/evenings we were there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. A great bonus to the hotel team. Quite a little walk into Annecy Town but a great area nonetheless with some nice restaurants and bars within easy reach, and the walk to the main town is simply stunning.

It would have been nice to of had a bar at the hotel. There were a couple of bottled, local, beers available (which were very tasty) and a cocktail of the day but that was it. The garden is a great place to be able to sit in but a few more drinks choices would have meant we could have spent more time enjoying it. The bathroom door in our room didn't fully shut over the door aperture so the gaps down both sides meant little privacy for people in the bathroom. TV didn't work (I don't know it this had to be paid for as an extra) and the A/C seemed difficult to adjust.

The localization is ideal for the one who want to be close to the lake, it is also close of many interesting restaurants and bars. The streets are beautiful, clean and full of flowers.

I think the bed could be a bit bigger in order to be more comfortable, if you are a couple tall and a bit stronger it will be difficult to find some comfort.

Breakfast is a must in this hotel, it was generous, lots of options, and tasty. Surprise, bakery comes from Paul Bocuse, so they are really good.

The shower in the room wasn't quite comfortable, since we cannot close, water tends to go everywhere in the floor of the bathroom, the floor towel gets quire soaked. Under the bed there were some dust, maybe not an issue for most, for me it is, since I have allergies.

Very warm welcome. Spacious and well equipped room. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of fresh and good quality products!

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. Low security wi-fi. Broken light in the bathroom. Untreated water damage on the ceiling next to the window.

The hotel's location was very close to the lake. It was perfect if you wanted to go for a walk or a ride around the lake. It was not too bad for walking into the town centre about 20 minutes away.

The partition didn't go all the way along length of the the shower cubicle, which was a bit disconcerting. Luckily not too much water went outside the shower for me.

Loved the location it was perfect for all activities including going into Annecy old town doing lake activities or exploring more parts of the lake The rooms were exceptional with good facilities and set back enough away from the main roads and noise. The views from the hotel were stunning and really made the stay even better

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like but one recommendation would be for the hotel to have a deal with the bike hire shop down the road, with guest getting so much off a bike rental or option for a bike rental built in to there room cost this would be a feature many would like
