This is a small, 15 room, hotel in a beautiful area of Cape Town. There are common rooms for guest use. The breakfast and other meals are excellent. It was so easy (and inexpensive) to get into the CBD or wharf, etc. for activities but we loved staying at this quiet oasis.
Nothing not to like, staff and hotel are really all you could want. We did stay long enough so that we saw other rooms and it's worth taking your time when booking to get the type of room you like. They are different. That being said, we booked a room but had a glitch with that room becoming unavailable after we'd booked and put a deposit on it. It may be a good idea to check to see that your booking is as expected.

My partner, Sam, and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Andros Boutique Hotel in Cape Town for just under two weeks while on holiday, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable. The staff deserve a special mention—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every need of ours was met. It’s rare to find such personalized service, and it truly elevated our experience. A heartfelt thank you also to Val, the owner, who made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal being a delightful experience. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. On the day we left, we treated ourselves to one of the most relaxing massages we’ve ever had in their spa. It was the perfect way to wrap up our stay and left us feeling completely rejuvenated. The Andros also offers a complimentary drawing room stocked with gin, whisky, sherry, cognac, and wine for guests to enjoy. This was such a fantastic perk, and we certainly made the most of it during our stay! Location-wise, The Andros couldn’t have been more ideal for us. Not only is it situated in the scenic wine country of Cape Town, but it was also conveniently close to my family, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and with fond memories we’ll cherish for a long time. If you’re looking for a luxurious, intimate, and welcoming place to stay in Cape Town, we highly recommend The Andros Boutique Hotel.
I fail to think of anything I did not like. The Andros did such an amazing job, and we have been recommending this place to all our friends and family.

My favorite place in Cape Town every time I'm around. A relaxing place with it's amazing garden. The room is always spacious and clean. The Home Spun (the restaurant) is fantastic. The GM running the restaurant just left the week before I arrived and I have to say that his replacement does an amazing job as well. Really appreciated her personal attention!
At such a nice place, the gym would really benefit from an upgrade. Space is small, warm and equipment is pretty outdated.

The ice cream and comfortable relaxation rooms and complimentary foods were a luxurious treat. The gardens are beautifully kept and lovely. Accommodation also charming and very neat. The decor was stunning.
There were some tripping hazards around the walkways. It would be good if staff could inform you at breakfast that the items on the menu are included in the breakfast at the outset. I would suggest that glass domes get used to keep foods from drying out and from flies and fruit flies. Some flavoured yogurts would also be nice.

From our check in until our check out 14 days later we experienced the highest level of accommodation and friendly, professional customer service. The hotel and grounds are located in a quiet suburb of Cape Town and have a wonderful relaxed vibe. The staff made us feel like we were welcome guests in their home. A name check to Val, Charmaine, Daphne, Tecno, Alan, Tiffany…..but every member of staff went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed the Andros experience - and we did.
Genuinely, I have no comments or suggestions which would improve the Andros.

Amazing group of staff so friendly. Tiffany was so kind in accommodating us with a wonderful welcome and beautiful room upgrade. the grounds are delightful, spa is lovely as were the spa therapists and the food from the restaurant very nice too. A really relaxing and luxurious stay, would highly recommend!
Nothing really major. Maybe the staff starting so early (5am on one of the days! Then 6am consistently) but it’s my problem I am such a light sleeper. If you are a light sleeper too maybe ask for a room not in the main building :)

I stay here often and love it. Lovely garden, sweet pool, tiny little spa. Very peaceful and relaxed. Feels like you are at home :) they lay out port, rusks, tea etc in the library, staff are SO nice and wonderful.
Not a great breakfast / limited offering. Facilities fairly dated (tiny gym with no WiFi and two small spa treatment rooms but it does the job and staff are great:))

The stay was amazing, and the food was out of this world. They thought of all the small things which made me decide to stay there for each visit going forward. From the products in the bathroom, to the night treat, heated floors, it was just amazing. The best part of the experience was the food. I was very surprised about the wine pairing option, and quality.
Only two things, The noise from downstairs got me very upset. Due to everything else being brilliant I would probably rather book in a garden or pool room. Then secondly, was trying to make a booking at the spa. I ended up just leaving it. O, one more tiny thing. They had no almond milk. They make their own oat milk fresh which is very cool, but I prefer almond.

We stayed here for three nights and had an excellent experience. The staff, especially Daphne, were attentive and kind. The breakfast team was outstanding. Our room was spacious, though some fixtures could use updating. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool. The lounges were amazing, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. Thank you!

The room was large and spacious, with all the necessary facilities and a wonderful bathroom to match it. The dining options were plenty and the in room dinner I ordered was delivered hot and fresh. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating, extremely friendly and provided a very warm sense of comfort and welcome; which is valued as a solo traveler.
