Very nice and clean. The lobby is very stylish and convenient if you have to do some work as well. The free city bikes and coffee in the lobby are bonus. The receptionist Olga was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast is alright - you could squeeze some fresh orange juice which is nice - but no cooked items apart from boiled eggs and there’s limited choice of ham or cheese. Maybe because it’s still the low season? We could hear people in the hallway and when they slam shut their doors. We didn’t hear noise from outside.

The room was good and large and well equipped. The only flaw in this cold weather on day two was that the bathroom was unheated and therefore very cold. On most other visits to Ascona this problem will not arrise again as Ascona will be hot and the room is air conditioned but now in early spring it is a slight handicap. Otherwise only very good experience and we will come back!

This is a very nice, modern hotel. Not big luxury, but very well equipped, lean modern design, spacious and in a good location (just a few minutes walk to the lake and center of Ascona). The 24h trust bar and water fountain are great, and the lounge, library and garden really cozy and pretty. Would definitively stay there again, also perfect for a workation.

Location was great, close to the water, Migros and Coop.

Would have been nice if the free coffee/ tea was available always. Instead they close the coffee machine at 12h00 and you have to buy at the bar. Alternatively they can consider to put a small machine in the room.

Our stay at the Hotel Mulino certainly exceeded our expectations as we had booked quite spontaneously. We chose the hotel first and foremost so that we could bring our bikes to tour the area .The hotel is situated in a residential area opposite a school and within walking distance to the centre of Ascona and lakeside .Our check in was a wonderful experience and we could conduct it all in Italian, which helped avoid the tourist feel . The staff were all very courteous and even came with a cake and candle on the morning of my birthday ! The hotel itself offers a lovely buffet breakfast which can be eaten outside on the covered terrace under a canopy of green leaves . We could sit out at the terrace for our own meals and tea coffee and wine were available in a self service fashion, making it ideal and rather like being at home Hotel Mulino is very unassuming and definitely a place to return to soon

Great Breakfast! Modern Rooms, extremely clean. Really easy check-in / check-out. Trust Bar is a great concept and well equipped. If you look for a newly refurbished hotel in Ticino this is your place!

Perfect location, quiet but only a 5-10 min walk to the waterfront with restaurants. Great pool 1m70 deep. Very child friendly, but also ok to be with no kids. phantastic breakfast!! Very friendly staff!

Lovely renovated rooms, quiet as you are a short walk from the main area of Ascona. Wonderful breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms, and the swimming pool area is a great bonus.

We would love to have the choice of a real double bed (ie one mattress and not two), but this is usual style in German and Swiss hotels.

Not far from the city center, close to nice restaurants, easy to arrive by bus, room was cosy and with air con. Good breakfast and nice staff!
