There was a lady who worked reception and breakfast, she had short light hair and had an accent, have to credit her, she was amazing and super helpful, phoned us taxis and just made us feel at home, because of her family homely feel and the cleanness of the room we will definitely be back! All you staff are very welcoming and make conversation and always quick to help! Also the little shop at reception is a brilliant touch!

Parking was a bit of a nightmare, did notice there is a few vehicles in the parking area with flat tires taking up room, we were very lucky to get a space for our visit but it did get extremely busy and people where parking in junctions, I know this may not be able to be helped and not your fault but that’s the only Issue I could see with your hotel.

We liked everything, it was our second time staying we were at an event at the P&J and wouldn't stay anywhere else if we are going there. All the hotel staff we interacted with were lovely, polite, and helpful. The room and everywhere in the hotel we saw were immaculate. The breakfast was excellent, perfect selection and quality of produce. I would highly recommend staying here to our friends, family, and colleagues. I love the snacks that were for sale. It was great to be able to grab something quick to eat, great selection, and quality.

My only negative and its a small one was that when we returned from our event at 11.20 the bar was closed it would have been good to have a drink with friends before bed. This would not prevent me from staying again or recommending and would just have been a good way to end our evening.

Just needed somewhere close to the A90 to break our journey. This was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful. We ate in the restaurant downstairs - nothing particularly inspiring but we didn't expect that ;o) A decent burger and fries before heading to bed after a day in the great outdoors!

Very basic wine list in the bar but again, we were not there for the food and drink!

Clean, spacious room. Bed comfortable and good quality of linen. Fridge in the room and toiletries. Friendly staff.

Slight middle up with payment when checking out, they had already pre authorised my card and the full amount was taken at checkin and not returned or pending from my bank, on checkout they tried to re charge my card ended up having to show them the money had come out of my bank account as proof I had already paid. Never had this issue before but I would have ended up paying twice if I hadn’t shown the receptionist my banking app!

The staff were amazing, from checking in staff, bar staff, waiting staff were all so polite , cheery and extremely helpful. Our room was large and the shower power was great.

We found our room warm, even although the heating was off. There was only one chair in the room despite it being a double room.

Breakfast staff. I had asked two friends to join me for breakfast, who landed from Norway at 8am. So I spoke to the staff and paid for their breakfasts, and was left in peace for two hours of chat and great breakfasts. Wonderful!

I struggled to find the hotel on foot, after dark. Flight had been much delayed. Building hidden behind other hotels and no clear sign for footway.

My two daughters and I booked two rooms and my requests for rooms next door to each other on a top floor were honoured, which we were grateful for. The rooms were so quiet and spotless. Breakfast included in the price of the rooms was exceptional. We will most definitely stay here again if we are attending a show at the P & J Live Arena. Thank you to the wonderful reception team who were so welcoming.

Friendly,kind and professional staff. They do make you feel welcome. Very helpful. Good location and honest price. Everything clean and up to date. Lovely room with all the expected comfort. Will definitely stay again in the future without hesitation.

I would have liked a bottle of water in the room but that is really the only thing I could think of.

the Maintenance in rooms needs to be much better as they carry the Marriott name, the window curtains were loose from hooks, i had a night where the temperature control did not work- multiple time i went down as Intercom in room was not working, was offered change of rooms, decided against as i was heading out the next morning... Housekeeping needs to be better as just rom clean up does not mean everything, the conditioner and Body wash were empty

Nothing- all good. EXCEPT- I booked a car through Booking.com and the pick up/return instructions were incorrect causing me a lot of grief and stress- the voucher stated that the car rental office and pick up and return was a this hotel - the staff knew nothing of my car hire booking and to go back to the airport car rental place. Another walk in the rain dragging my suitcase. The car booking company was not there. I found it eventually- very poorly signposted I have emailed Booking.com customer services requesting compensation for this mistake. After a flight and a walk in the rain all over the place to find the car hire depot I was totally stressed and late getting to my destination. Very very nasty experience.
