This was the perfect start to our NZ trip! Jo was so kind and welcoming, with so much helpful info on the area. The room was clean, comfortable-and the view! Gorgeous! The breakfasts were delicious, the location was great. Coco the resident pup was super sweet too.We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We had a great two nights at Matarangi B&B. After travelling around NZ we ended our trip here in the best way possible. Fantastic view from the room/veranda, big and clean rooms and great breakfast! The hosts were super friendly and helpful. When going to the beach they kindly lent us towels (and spade for when going to hot water beach!). The surroundings are amazing. We highly recommend staying here!

Lovely location. Very central stay to explore the Coromandel peninsula. Matarangi beach also a few minutes away by car.

A lovely room in a beautiful location. The views out onto the mountains and sea are just amazing, especially as the sun is setting. You are within driving distance of all the best beaches and attractions. Jo made us a fab breakfast and was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay with Jo and Tony! The B&B has a beautiful water front with a really privat walkway to stunning beaches. Jo has gone beyond to make sure we have a good time and gave us some very helpful advice for trips around the area. We are sure coming back!

view, comfy beds, proximity to golf course ( nice course), birds, breakfast, close to the beach for swimming and most importantly we really enjoyed Jo and Tony’s company, great hosts. oh and coco the dog 💓

Wonderful view from our bed, lovely clean spacious room and bathroom.

We liked the size of the big bed and the bed linen but the bed was very soft which doesn’t suit me.
