The hotel is well located in Kanazawa's lively Katamachi district. Lot of great restaurant and izakaya options nearby. Our room was cozy, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful in arranging luggage transport to our next accommodation.

The only problem we encountered had to do with the hotel's spa facilities. The fact that their onsen (Japanese bath) was completely traditional in its no tattoo policy was not mentioned at all on their website, nor was it hinted at during check-in (granted, we did not explicitly ask about it either). We were really looking forward to relaxing after a long day of travel, so not being allowed in was quite a disappointment. While I fully respect local customs for public baths, I don't necessarily understand this policy for an onsen that is exclusively for hotel guests (which I would assume to be mostly foreign tourists based on the guests we saw).

The people with the tattoos are not allowed in the spa, which is not unusual for Japan but still is a little bit upsetting

Great location. I was able to walk to train station and Castle.

Stayed on the 12th floor. I couldn't get the shower water to cool down...very hot for me and I did understand how to use the button on the lever...it just didn't cool down. I mentioned to the front desk staff and she just looked at me without offering to send someone up. I didn't want to bother anyone as the desk always seemed too busy. Maybe have a little more staff available when needed? Also the laundry facilities were very helpful, but again it was almost too busy to be useful. Maybe offer another machine or laundry send-out service?

The family room is clean and very spacious with separated bedrooms and bathrooms make it very comfortable for our stay there. We highly appreciated the layout of the hotel family room, very convenience for our family to stay here. The location is good, many good restaurants and shops in short walking distance . The river bank nearby with old cherry trees would be a wonderful scenery during sakura blossom period. We enjoyed the public bath a lot.

Bathroom amenities are quite limited for a 4* hotel, only toothbrush and toothpaste available, others might be on request but we didnot ask for since we have ourselves on hand. Towels were changed everyday but not the yukata. We do hope they would change the yukata daily also.

Amazing value for your money. Great facilities - great room, bed, bathroom, view and onsen. Great location as well, close to a lot of great areas with lots of restaurants around.

I hate to point out anything negative regarding this place, but to provide some constructive feedback: I think some surfaces in our room could have used a few more wipes before our arrival as there were a few greasy stains (table stand and some wooden panel on the wall). Our comforter sheet also had a large stain on it, which seems they attempted to remove, but for such a great quality hotel I think they should have replaced it or washed a few more times so it wasn't so visible. These are minor things for us and did not in any way impact our stay.

Most of the rooms do not have curtains, but only a, almost see through, pull down curtain. Rooms are completely lit when the sun is up. Only one or two rooms at each floor are rooms that can be dark; we got such a room thanks to a member of the staff, and had a good night sleep in that room after all. Hotel has only about 10 parkingspots. If they are occupied, you can park, for the same price, in Oval car park. Exit-tickets are sold at hotel desk. Breakfast is early (9.00) even in weekend. Choices are very limited and quality is not so good. Scrambled eggs looked completely raw.

Lovely room with comfortable bed and nice little details, like the beautiful porcelain tea set, large shower with good water pressure, and good air conditioning. Lovely and spotless onsen, onsite coin laundry, common space for getting a drink or just relaxing. Very fast internet. Very convenient location with lots of restaurants and convenience stores, near main road and bus stops.

It's a really small point, but some staff didn't speak English that well. They were very friendly and tried really hard to be helpful, but sometimes it was hard to communicate.

Modern facilities, very clean, can book and pay for massage, free gym, laundry to wash your clothes at low cost, free drinks between certain hours tea and coffee available at all times at reception area. Rooms are large and comfortable, bathrooms are good size, loved the shower. Great location, all the sightseeing was in walking distance, plenty of restaurants nearby. Walk through all the back streets to find the one you like. Staff are happy to assist, very polite. They have a range of items you can use, umbrellas, hair straighteners etc. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was spacious and well laid out. Our room was big enough to move around in, and the bathroom had a separate toilet area.The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. There were two dedicated lounge areas where you could eat, play games, or just relax on sofas and chairs. The location was central to many restaurants, shops, and in walking distance to Kenrouken Gardens and Kanazawa Castle Park, along with lots of other sights.

There was no direct elevator to the main floor entrance. The lighting in the room was fabulous, but that seems to be the case in most hotels. The washer/dryer machine did more steaming of clothes than drying. There is a small coin laundry about 2 minutes down the street, use it instead.

The hotel is really clean and the rooms are well equipped. The location is great, with plenty of Izakaya nearby and close to the Samurai neighbourhood and a major commercial area. The staff were excellent. One staff member went out of their way to help us book a restaurant for dinner (we had trouble getting in anywhere the previous night).

The room was very small, really just for sleeping. The lounge could have been equipped with glassware and basic utensils for enjoying a drink or food given it was the only place to relax (the rooms are too small). Some staff didn't really know how to help tourists - I asked for things to do and see and they just pointed at the castle and Kenrouken Garden.
