The room was ok as it is standard. It has a cute balcony which was nice as it gave us a view of the surroundings. Nice to take photo from there too. The breakfast was nice too, nothing fancy but it does the job. Everything was orderly. If I will be in Lourdes I might go back to this place again.

Perhaps some areas needed to be fixed like dirt or mold forming on the ceilings or some parts of the wall but not very noticeable, but these are not big concerns since we stayed only for a night and everything still went well. I guess the property is already old but still it is orderly and clean and quiet. The staff like Fred, the man during the noontime checkin and the other old man in the evening at the reception they were all so nice and so kind. So friendly and they would always do their best to help you out. They were very nice to the guests. They are big assets of this hotel :)

Simple varied breakfast downstairs. Great elevator. Some English spoken which helped for direction to the train station. Calm and relaxed compared to some sites. The drinking water is yummy.

Dinner in was unavailable on the night I wanted it. Also, my problem was getting lost on foot. If travelling to Lourdes by rail, in what should be all downhill from the station by foot I suggest plotting out the ~10 minute journey ahead of time ***in reverse** (~four streets from memory) - as the town has a remarkable terrain that google failed miserably on. My journey to the hotel from the rail took ~60 minutes. Wish I'd worked it out ahead of time, or turned right from the rail station and headed past the pharmacie towards the Basillica which is sign-posted and there are people around to ask the way to the pharmacie which is in sight from outside the hotel. The hotel name has a blue sign over the path.

We visited Lourdes as pilgrims, wanted a hotel close to Basilica& Grotto. This hotel was very convenient- on the main street, close to Basilica, restaurants&cafes.Room not large, but big enough, had a balcony.Little table and chairs, wardrobe, heater. There was no kettle in the room or cups- but we had our own travel kettle. Staff very helpful an polite.Hotel very clean.Lift working perfectly.Good place to stay for a couple days.

Breakfast was a bit simple- we had 4 breakfasts and it was always the same choice: cruason, slices of bagett, choice of cold ham, hard boiled egg or cheese. No cooked hot breakfast.Anyway, we did not come there for a culinary trip, so we been content.

The Hotel St Etienne is a great location for Lourdes sanctuary and just a ten minute walk to the railway station (shuttle bus to airport). The street is full of souvenir shops and a few cafes which though busy during the day is very quiet at night. The hotel is good value for money. The shower (always my test of a hotel) was excellent (water pressure and temperature). We stayed on a half-board basis and were very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the meals. Above all the staff, especially Fred the evening waiter, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our return flight was cancelled and the hotel could not have been more helpful in accommodating us for the extra night and helping to print off new boarding passes.

For a three star hotel the rooms are quite basic but are clean and a good size.

The location was perfect for me as it was a walking distance to the Shrine. it is a busy street but a quiet area. It has a good view and easy to navigate other places. The breakfast was good maybe there could more items on the menu. The room was ok they were no supplies like bath soap.

The first night we arrived at night and the person we found could not give us hot water for tea we had to pay for it and because we did not have change we gave more than 2 cups of hot water, teabags, and 2 sugars. But this could have been because we did not know the language to communicate with each other.

The hotel was conveniently close to the Basilica which was the reason we went to Lourdes. It was also conveniently close to many restaurants and a decent walking distance to the train station too! The rooms were spacious.

A considerable number of European hotels and inns do not have cold air conditioning which I think is needed now with the changing climate globally. It was a bit stuffier than expected but it's a minor inconvenience we can definitely put up with unless it gets even more humid or hotter.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very close to the Sanctuary, very good breakfast at a modest price. Dinner on demand, you have to let them know in advance. Close to train station. Many shops and restaurants in the area, but a lot of them are closed, it may be because its low season.

Nothing much, it’s not luxurious but convenient and comfortable.

Hotel is very near to the sanctuary 10 mins leisurely walk. Also 10 mins from the bus station connecting to the airport. There is also a supermarket walking distance as well. Many restaurants nearby

Breakfast was very basic, guess enough to fill up for the morning. The view from our window on the second floor was just a derelict building opposite. WiFi reception was a hit & miss.

The hotel was great! From the moment we crossed the door, we felt welcomed. The room was nice, as I was expecting for the price. Breakfast was small but really well done. The location is perfect, you are 5 minutes from the sanctuary and 10 minutes from the gare. The other guest were really nice, the was a cool ambiance

the bathroom could be better, but in general it was ok

The location was a short walk to the sanctuary and while we were there during the low season, there was sufficient food around stores that were opened to serve our needs. Monsieurs Fred & David were helpful & polite in replying to earlier email and on site. Breakfast was good and at a decent price. It was a nice little establishment and our family enjoyed the stay. We stayed in a quad room, it was clean and bathrooms were good and spacious.
