The host left us a welcome basket full of goodies which was lovely and most appreciated. The furniture and bedding were comfortable as were the pillows. There is a toilet conveniently located on the ground floor which was very nice. Games were available in the house for us to use. An added bonus was that the weather was warm enough for us to sit outside in the private courtyard. Location was fabulous and quiet!

My tall travel companion did find a few of the low lying beams a bit tricky to avoid but that is what is expected in a house of this age. The heat was also a bit difficult to control. It seemed to still be on when we thought it was off.

Century House is a stunning cottage in the little village of Moreton-in-Marsh. It is walking distance from the train station and the town center. Upon arrival we immediately noticed how beautifully the cottage was prepared, even the table was set very nicely. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous and clean.

One of the beds had broken bed slats attachments, making the bed unusable as it collapsed when even just sitting on it. The Century House team was responsive to this situation but couldn’t get the bed fixed in time - which we understand as new parts were needed.

I received early communications regarding how to access the lock box which had the keys for the cottage. Additionally, left the keys there when leaving so checking out was easy. Cottage was clean and everything was stocked up. Additionally small everyday items were in the cottage which made the stay a lot smoother and nice - for example some unopened milk for tea/coffee in the morning.

Wonderful location! GWR train from London Paddington to Moreton in Marsh. Easy walk to the property from the train station. Cotswolds tour pick up also from the train station as well. Food and entertainment options also near by. Every thoughtful touch at the property made this location perfect for our Cotswolds getaway!

I really liked the cosy feel to the living room, great spacious kitchen and the lovely bathroom. It was also easy to park and walk into town.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. It was well done, and it's an old building, so that comes with it's quirks like ducking your head if you're tall like me :)

Century House is in a lovely quiet location off the main road that goes through Moreton in Marsh. It’s a cosy clean welcoming cottage with just about everything you could need. It rained most of our stay so we didn’t use the garden but it looks very nice.

Bed on top floor is very hard! We think it’d would be nice to offer the option for enough logs to be by the wood burner to last for however many nights you are there. Just 8 a night would do. Going to the shop for them in the rain isn’t much fun for old ladies!

It was the best holiday home we've ever been to! Every detail has been carefully considered, cutlery, bedding, towels and toiletries, including small things, like the logs for the fireplace and matches - the hosts even left a welcome basket for us of local goodies. The environment is charming, historic details have been carefully maintained and one could read about the history of the house. We will certainly visit again!

Everything was perfect!

A beautiful period property which was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, crisp white bed linen, powerful showers and everything necessary for a wonderful weekend away with friends. Close to all amenities and great pubs. We would highly recommended this wonderful house.

Well decorated Comfortable It had everything we needed (although a bit short on side plates)

It was cold to begin with - however once we found instructions for altering the heat it quickly warmed up. There was a fetid smell in the top floor bathroom.

Beautiful house in a great location, also for people not traveling by car like myself. Just a few minutes away from a train station. Very spacious, ideal for big groups. Cosy interior with a fireplace, big kitchen and incredibly comfortable beds.
