I had a lovely stay at Hotel Landgasthof Leuen in Zurich Uitikon. The rooms were small but cozy and warm, perfect for a winter stay. The beds were very comfortable and soft, and the room was always clean and well-maintained. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options, just the right amount without being overwhelming. Ekaterina, the waiter, was exceptional—she provided excellent service with a smile, always attentive and prompt. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience with great hospitality. Highly recommend! Parking always available. 1 hour drive to amazing Titlis mountains, Flumserberg and Pizol Swiss Alps.

Located near a bus stop and a train station, which can bring you to Zürich or to the Uetliberg with splendid view. Local restaurant and other restaurant nearby. The staff helped us to Swiss francs for the public transport. We got a breakfast bag as we wanted to leave early.

The immediate surroundings are not so interesting. The reception with information was not open during the indicated hours - focus seemed to be on the restaurant business, so we struggled a bit to find the best options for the public transport (which has prices depending on the number of zones one intends to use).

The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. Staff are generally helpful & cheery - especially in the restaurant. Sufficient parking space. Happy that the hotel arranged a portable air-con unit in the room. While it was early spring, the day time air temperature was relatiively high.

The lack of a reception and elevator to the room posed minor inconvenience. At the very least, having a luggage elevator would have been excellent.

The Leuen was well maintained, clean and comfortable . All the staff were welcoming , very helpful and friendly. Great food and excellent service in the restaurant. We stayed 3 days and ate all our meals at the hotel.

I have a mobility problem and found the steep steps into the hotel and up to the reception desk a bit of a challenge. This was compensated by the wonderful staff who helped with carrying bags for me.

Very close to Zürich and good value for the money. Parking on-site is possible. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is good, but I would probably prefer additional white bread, but that's all. Rooms were clean.

Too bad that there are some new buildings right in front of the hotel, the view would have been great otherwise, but that's not too bad I guess, and from the terrace there is still some view. Breakfast is good, but I would prefer white bread plus nutella ;) everything else is good, especially for price and location. (I would recommend a car to get to Zürich etc.)

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel, with a special charme. The winter decorations made it even more cozy. Great breakfast and excellent dinner at the Hotel’s restaurant

The room is a bit small and the shower very small. In general, good for one night, but for longer stays the size can be uncomfortable.

We enjoyed everything about the gasthof. The Restaurant and staff were both exceptional. Lovely menu. Great and friendly service.

Our room was very good. Only "complaint" was the tiny shower in our room. Little bit of a tight fit.

Breakfast was great... A typical Swiss breakfast with fresh produce! Location was practical with good/easy/quick public transport connection to downtown Zurich

I was sleeping in a room on the street side. I chose to sleep with the window open for fresh air.... traffic noises were annoying until late into the night (early morning hours) and started again early in the morning (early morning rush hour). I was welcomed by a busy waitress who seemed stressed and somewhat flustered and initially not very welcoming.

It’s a traditional hotel that was renovated a couple of years ago with a lot of taste (and surely money). Old wooden beams are visible and match well with the white plastering. It features a nice restaurant and the breakfast was ok, there could be more options for vegetarians and vegan as not everyone in the world likes to eat meat anymore (the offered a fully meat based platter for breakfast). Our room was quiet (behind the house) but very small, we had to climb over our luggage. The area behind the hotel is worth exploring on foot, it’s wonderful and it’s a pity it’s no longer visible due to some newly build apartment block (and more being build right now). The hotel features and underground parking which is good but difficult to enter as it’s very narrow entry. Outside parking is available but was full when we arrived from guests who came for lunch only. No elevator so you have to carry up your luggage to the room.

Lovely spacious clean room. Air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Spare pillows available. Good breakfast. Excellent coffee facilities in room. Good location- 15 minutes from Zurich HB on train 10 minutes walk away. Parking available.
