Easy check-in. Fabulous manager who was able to coordinate multiple rooms for our bicycle group, including almost all on ground floor vs stairs to the 2nd floor. Great water pressure. Electrical outlets were plentiful. Kitchenette perfectly stocked. Wonderful pub for meals next door. Easy walking to grocery store (BTW...grrrrreat IGA Store!!!). Had everything we needed and a charming town to top it all off. Would like to visit again with a little more time

Was surprised to find no USB outlets but have learned that is throughout all of Australia, so definitely nothing negative on this motel.

The location is excellent and very convenient.

The water temperature of the shower is unstable. You have to time your shower well. Either take a quicker shower before the warm water turns cold automatically, or turn off the cold water and wait for the water to heat up, then take a quick shower when the water is not too hot. So most of time, you have to constantly adjust the shower temperature manually.

Port Fairy is a delight and the motel was good, check-in couldn’t have been easier, friendly staff, we booked the day before for a Saturday night stay and they still had vacancies. Big super king bed, we slept really well. Motel more or less next door to a great pub that also served food and everything was within a few minutes walk.

The motel is in an excellent location as it’s a short walk to main shopping area, cafes and restaurants, supermarket and the marina. The room was very clean and had ample tea, coffee etc. The heating was excellent and electric blankets were supplied.

The only negative was the music from the hotel next door. (We stayed a Sat night) Thankfully it stopped at 11 ish. It wasn’t that loud that you could hear the lyrics.

The staff at reception was outstanding. Really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and had all the appliances one can wish for. Location is fabulous, on Bank Street right next to the popular Caledonian Inn,

The lighting wasn't so good and the furniture looks a bit worn, but the spacious room makes up for it.

Excellent central location, very clean and tidy room, excellent amenities provided, great off street parking close to room, very friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet hotel ensured a great night’s sleep.

Minor issue with flaky WiFi, not a problem for low level web browsing etc but not strong enough for anything like watching video. Not a major problem for us, but something To be aware of.

Great location, bed was very comfortable, staff were very friendly and happy to provide information and advice. We would have been happy to stay longer.

Slight smell of old cigarette smoke in the room despite being a non-smoking facility. Stop noticing it after about 30 minutes, so it didn't matter much :)

Great room with plenty of space, short walk to restaurants bars and shops, off street parking and very quiet. The walk to the lighthouse takes you across beaches and has amazing views the port has a lovely promenade walk, tourist info very good and worth a look.

The shower head was 'broken' and did not stay upright, it had to be held by us whilst trying to shower. The water was spraying everywhere. The reception was closed by the time we had a shower. The next morning, the reception was not open at the time stated on the door, we went for a walk, and I decided not to shower as I didn't want to go through the palaver again. I did tell the reception later on and they said we could have called the after-hours number. Other than that, the place was absolutely lovely and clean and smelt nice and was a nice place to stay. We would stay again.

Really lovely warm welcome from Bettina. Room had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Clean and quiet. Bettina suggested a walk to the lighthouse to see wallabies and we did! Had dinner next door at the Thai restaurant which was very good. A friendly and very pleasant motel in a pretty town.
