A commentary from my mother: "Joy 5 in Belgrade is a great hotel, and I want to express my gratitude for the care and support that they provide to the guests. The hotel is located very well in the middle of the local park and has a great view of the Danube River, usually with lots of ducks and swans. In walking distance there is also a bridge, which connects new and old parts of Belgrade. The hotel has a nice spa area, which is clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are very good, and I was happy to know that they consider the food preferences of the guests. Especially I would like to thank the personnel of the hotel, which provided support during our stay. They helped with the accommodation and luggage, kept the room clean, and provided all the facilities we needed. They were also extremely supportive with the organization of our logistics. Thank you for the warm welcome. I wish prosperity to the hotel and well-being to the managers and guests."

The hotel is modern and clean. The view on the river is romantic, especially during breakfast time. The room is big and with all the comforts. There is a small SPA room with jacuzzi and sauna and you can use them every day. The breakfast is a bit expensive but it's worth!

In general the location of the hotel is not 10/10 cause it's exactly in the middle of the park, and you need to walk few minutes to reach the hotel. There is a caddy-service that brings you to the parking place, but if you need to go to the hotel you need to walk. There weren't enough shampoo and body lotions so we had to ask for them few times (we stayed there for almost a week). But everything was fine:)

We had a lovely stay. The staff was super nice and friendly. Booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday and they helped me prepare the room upon arrival to make it extra special with a note, balloons, prosecco and dessert. It was perfect!! We also had access to a private spa with jacuzzi and sauna which was so nice. The view from the room was amazing facing the river, same for the breakfast area. Also, the breakfast was great! Overall felt like a luxurious experience and worth the price. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend others to book it as well.

This is a really nice and comfortable little hotel to stay in. The rooms are of a good size and had Air Conditioning, TV, good wifi, and a nice big window which opened very wide. There is also a safe and a very well stocked Mini Bar. Both the Old Town and New Belgrade are both very easily accessible on foot or by bus (which is cheap and easy to purchase a ticket for). We did not use the Spa, which looked like an inside Hot Tub but I am sure that is also lovely. The breakfast is adequate, there is a selection of cold meats, pastries, fruit, cereal and some hot food, as well as barista made coffee which is an acceptable standard. The views from Breakfast are stunning on a nice day, it was lovely to eat overlooking a sunny Danube; we also had this lovely view from our room due to having a river-view room. Overall this is a very good property if you don't mind being a little bit out of the way, we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a short walk from the nearest Taxi drop off/Car Park/Bus Stop through the park, it is advertised as 150m but I reckon it is more like 500m. HOWEVER it is all on a well maintained path, with very good lighting, we NEVER felt unsafe accessing the property even after dark. The only food offered is Breakfast so you will have to travel into the Old or New town for meals, HOWEVER other reviews imply that the hotel is more than happy to order food for you/help you order food!

Modern hotel and rooms, great staff. A lot of running tracks in the park just behind the front door, mostly along the river - so, it's really enjoyable running along them. Views from the hotel café are really awesome.

Just in front of the hotel a festival took place with loud bass music playing far after midnight. I understand that this is not a hotel who chooses locations for mass events, but at least they could inform us about this at the time of booking (we were with two small children, so it was quite important). Another point is breakfast. So few food and options, constant complaints from visitors that there is nothing to it... - absolutely no sense to pay for rooms with breakfasts. And the third point is parking. Sometimes we were allowed to pass directly to the hotel as guests, sometimes no - we did not understand the policy and there was no chance to find it or detailed instructions in advance.

I booked the hotel prior to my trip to Belgrade. My flight was delayed and I contacted the hotel to let them know about my late check in. I received a response immediately from Marko Andesilic, who was very helpful. He advised me on the best way to get taxi and how to get to the property. The hotel is located in a park on the Danube river. I liked the approach to the hotel with a nice wooden bridge. The 24-hour front desk meant a lot to me when I arrived late. Check in was fast and smooth, as was the fast internet connection. The room was well equipped with everything I needed. Comfortable bed with nice white linen, bathroom was well equipped and clean. And best of all, I liked that I got a room with a view of the Danube, which I didn't ask for. Even though it was winter and very late, the view of the water had a special feeling. The only thing I asked was that I have a late check out, but they were not sure if it was possible or not, so I left earlier than the arranged check out time. I didn't try the breakfast, but I saw that the restaurant had a nice arrangement of tables overlooking the river. It is close to the Usce shopping center, which can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. I believe it is very nice and pleasant in summer.

The hotel was located in a quiet part of the park, floating on the Danube River (hotel wasn't moving much so didn't feel seasick). Great value for money, clean, spacious rooms, modest breakfast, small spa room availability with sauna and jacuzzi. Staff was very lovely and helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable and shower had strong pressure. Hotel was located in the vicinity of various seafood restaurants so didn't have to go to the old town for food

Location is something to consider about - it is quite secluded and quiet, closer to the airport but 40m walk to the old town. Sometimes the cleaners didn't make our bed but fresh towels were provided. Everything else was ok

A lovely quirky little hotel in a great location. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and especially the reception lady with the long brown hair (didn't get her name) so polite and helpful. Bed was super comfy and hotel is spotless. I also tried the spa which is small but was a nice addition to my stay. The entrance to the hotel is roughly a 2 minute walk through a parkland area but it has a little shuttle that brings you if you don't want to walk or need assistance. (it's really short though so don't be put off) all in all it was a lovely stay! Belgrade is a wonderful city!
