It is rare to find any accommodation where the owners sincerely enjoy meeting, serving, and creating a great experience for their guests. San Art Hostel is such a place. Our room was clean and cozy. We were greeted with coffee and tea each morning. Breakfast was always a homemade, delicious start to the day and served with a smile. Toshi, the cat loves a scratch behind the ear and is a great little ambassador. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation when looking for a uniquely relaxing place with exceptional hospitality in Belgrade. We had a bit of a personal emergency and both owners were quick to do all they could to help us despite it taking a considerable amount of their time. We truly could not have gotten the situation resolved without their help. We chose this hostel for its beautiful location right on the Danube, yet it was the people at San Art Hostel who made it a truly special experience. We are so grateful for their help and hospitality and wish them all the very best.

When I read some of the reviews from other guests before my stay I thought they would have been exaggerating how good their stay was - they definitely were not. Our stay was faultless. The staff were so friendly and attentive - it was like staying with family. They remembered our names and even made sure we had sun cream before we went out for the day. Breakfast was made when you came down in the morning and was always more than enough to set you up for the day. The rooms were perfect for relaxing and the A/C was effective on the warmer days. There was also a friendly cat around that made it feel even more homely. The shopping mall is close by with lots of shops and a food court, and if you turn either direction along the river you will find bars & restaurants after 10/15 mins. Getting into the city is just under an hours walk (30 mins back as its down hill) or you can use taxis or the bus. The hosts are happy to help with how to use both! I would recommend this hostel & apartments to anyone and would stay here again any day!

The concept, the staff. Brekfast is simple and not huge but various and tasty. Position is romantic and quiet despite some clubs on danube can be noisy at night, especially during the weeknd. There is a free parking 300meters away but it is possible to reach the hotel to load/unload the car.

Just to say something: the door of the shower needs some maintenance. Rooms are not soundproof and noisy neighbors could be annoying if you have bad luck. Curtains from door/window let enter a lot of light. But if you wake up early you have the chance to see sunrise on danube. A small fridge would make the room perfect for me

The atmosphere is homey and cosy! The breakfasts were very hearty and tasty (different each day), and there were enough to last until the evening. The hotel staff is friendly, always available, and helpful with any questions (for example - airport transfers, they recommended a restaurant with an excellent price/quality ratio). The children were thrilled to find a cute cat named Tosha living in the hotel. The hotel is very clean, with no cat fur on the furniture and no unpleasant smells. Conveniently located in the park, we easily walked with the children to the city centre.

The bathroom had no shower holder, and the shelf above the sink was tilted, so cosmetics could easily fall and break.

The staff was so kind during the whole stay. I had some delays along the way, so I arrived later at the hostel, but this was no problem at all. They welcomed me very friendly anyway. Between the people who work in this hostel there is an incredible good communication, which means that everyone knows what you need or what you are looking for. If they don't know directly the answer to your question (you asked to the morning staff) they will look up all the information you need and the people who are there in the evening will spontaneously help you with the questions you had in the morning. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and the hostel itself is clean. The breakfast was better than expected, with local delicacies and there was certainly more than sufficient provided. I left this hotel with a heart-warming feeling. The people in the floating art are so friendly and warm that it felt a bit like coming home to family. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The room is quite small, and you should expect it in a houseboat, but once you pass over this detail, everything is really great: friendly staff, clean premises, great breakfast if you like salty breakfast, very good price and a wonderful view from the platform. The position is... well, you are in a park, running or skating Is delightful. A very big mall is within walking range, but reaching both Zemun or old city is a 40 minutes walk. Public free parking is nearby, no more than 300m. Absolutely not an issue.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, great with kids, also have a couple of toys around the place, gave us great tips and indications, and had nice chats at breakfast. They are very attentive. The cat of the house is a plus. I loved waking up at the view, awesome coffee and breakfast, cooked in house.

Not a dislike necessarily, I very much enjoyed the overall feeling, but if you're looking for a fancy hostel, this might not be for you. The place looks like it wasn't rehabilitated in quite a while, but everything is kept very clean.

It is a magical, cozy place located in a large park surrounding the Palace of Serbia and on the banks of the Danube. We experienced a big storm in the city center the night we arrived, but after a very tasty Serbian dinner, came back to this completely peaceful place full of adorable details and a family atmosphere. Breakfast on the floating terrace is a real experience. Prepared from fresh ingredients, vegetables and fruits and served with special care. Everything is clean, the staff is ready to fulfill any wish or give advice. Thank you for your exceptional care.

San Art is almost a perfect hostel. We were a group of 3 friends and got a private room with 2 queen beds and one bunk. Very roomy, clean toilet, staff was amazing, very welcoming and kind. The location was great, away from the city noise, on the river, close to the arena and a few stops away from the city center. Parking is a nice stroll throught the park away and its free.

Breakfast was the only thing which can be approved upon, but it was still very nice

Everything was amazing. The location is beautiful, the staff is super kind and attentive, breakfast is delicious. We had some issues with our flight and ended up arriving around 6 AM - communicating with the staff was super effective and we had coffee, fruit, water and some amazing Serbian pastries waiting for us in our room balcony. Parking is 3-5 min way but it’s a really nice beautiful walk , so even that is a plus
