A lovely welcome despite our silly arrival time of 2am, and the whole team that we met were lovely. Breakfast was exceptionally and very plentiful, setting us up for pretty much the whole day. Being a 25 min walk/10 min bus ride to the city is ideal - away from the business, but easy to access. Buses are free, also. Air conditioning was spot on, the room was well kept and clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Mosquitoes nets on all doors/windows were a nice reassurance (I react badly), although on our visit were fortunately unnecessary.

The hostel itself is faultless. Upon arrival at 2am, there was clearly an event going on down towards the main city going on until nearer 3am. This is obviously outside of the control of the hostel, and the aircon drowned a lot of noise out too, however it might be worth (like for any trip) sticking a set of earplugs in your kit bag. Keep in mind that Serbia in summer draws the evenings out due to the often excessive heat of the day!

From the arrival, very early in the morning about 7am, we was made to feel very welcome. The staff so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed sitting with them and hearing local knowledge. It is very quite and a stunning place to do something a little different, we really enjoyed our stay. There are free buses close by to access the town and lots of culture around that you can get to on the free buses. Can't thank the staff enough for the hospitality they offered my family. The breakfast was beautiful and really enjoyable. Its an amazing place to visit and stay in. Thank you very much 😊

This was such a special place to stay. The staff/owners went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. It is indeed hostal style, with bunk beds, lovely hang out living room and deck and a resident cat. The breakfast and strong coffee were made on the spot, filling and delicious, served on the deck. It felt unique to be staying literally in a park on a river, while 15 minutes on a bus (two stops) we were in a main part of a bustling city (public transport is free in Belgrade). It is also a close walk or bus to Zemun, kayaking and some funky riverside restaurants. Wholeheartedly recommend.

It is rare to find any accommodation where the owners sincerely enjoy meeting, serving, and creating a great experience for their guests. San Art Hostel is such a place. Our room was clean and cozy. We were greeted with coffee and tea each morning. Breakfast was always a homemade, delicious start to the day and served with a smile. Toshi, the cat loves a scratch behind the ear and is a great little ambassador. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation when looking for a uniquely relaxing place with exceptional hospitality in Belgrade. We had a bit of a personal emergency and both owners were quick to do all they could to help us despite it taking a considerable amount of their time. We truly could not have gotten the situation resolved without their help. We chose this hostel for its beautiful location right on the Danube, yet it was the people at San Art Hostel who made it a truly special experience. We are so grateful for their help and hospitality and wish them all the very best.

When I read some of the reviews from other guests before my stay I thought they would have been exaggerating how good their stay was - they definitely were not. Our stay was faultless. The staff were so friendly and attentive - it was like staying with family. They remembered our names and even made sure we had sun cream before we went out for the day. Breakfast was made when you came down in the morning and was always more than enough to set you up for the day. The rooms were perfect for relaxing and the A/C was effective on the warmer days. There was also a friendly cat around that made it feel even more homely. The shopping mall is close by with lots of shops and a food court, and if you turn either direction along the river you will find bars & restaurants after 10/15 mins. Getting into the city is just under an hours walk (30 mins back as its down hill) or you can use taxis or the bus. The hosts are happy to help with how to use both! I would recommend this hostel & apartments to anyone and would stay here again any day!

The concept, the staff. Brekfast is simple and not huge but various and tasty. Position is romantic and quiet despite some clubs on danube can be noisy at night, especially during the weeknd. There is a free parking 300meters away but it is possible to reach the hotel to load/unload the car.

Just to say something: the door of the shower needs some maintenance. Rooms are not soundproof and noisy neighbors could be annoying if you have bad luck. Curtains from door/window let enter a lot of light. But if you wake up early you have the chance to see sunrise on danube. A small fridge would make the room perfect for me

Although not very close to the center, there is public transportation very close to all locations. The place is quiet and beautiful. The host Sacha welcomed us with a cold watermelon, amidst the intense heat. He was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Everything is done with great care. I definitely recommend this place.

The atmosphere is homey and cosy! The breakfasts were very hearty and tasty (different each day), and there were enough to last until the evening. The hotel staff is friendly, always available, and helpful with any questions (for example - airport transfers, they recommended a restaurant with an excellent price/quality ratio). The children were thrilled to find a cute cat named Tosha living in the hotel. The hotel is very clean, with no cat fur on the furniture and no unpleasant smells. Conveniently located in the park, we easily walked with the children to the city centre.

The bathroom had no shower holder, and the shelf above the sink was tilted, so cosmetics could easily fall and break.

The staff was so kind during the whole stay. I had some delays along the way, so I arrived later at the hostel, but this was no problem at all. They welcomed me very friendly anyway. Between the people who work in this hostel there is an incredible good communication, which means that everyone knows what you need or what you are looking for. If they don't know directly the answer to your question (you asked to the morning staff) they will look up all the information you need and the people who are there in the evening will spontaneously help you with the questions you had in the morning. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and the hostel itself is clean. The breakfast was better than expected, with local delicacies and there was certainly more than sufficient provided. I left this hotel with a heart-warming feeling. The people in the floating art are so friendly and warm that it felt a bit like coming home to family. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The room is quite small, and you should expect it in a houseboat, but once you pass over this detail, everything is really great: friendly staff, clean premises, great breakfast if you like salty breakfast, very good price and a wonderful view from the platform. The position is... well, you are in a park, running or skating Is delightful. A very big mall is within walking range, but reaching both Zemun or old city is a 40 minutes walk. Public free parking is nearby, no more than 300m. Absolutely not an issue.
