Posh boutique with lovely surrounding views. Excellent central location in a quiet residential street. Wonderful staff and our penthouse room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. Squeaky clean newly renovated bathrooms and pretty landscaping.

The hotel only serves a continental breakfast with a choice of eggs. More selection of hot meals would be welcome. Stunning setting but no ambience. Some light background music would certainly lift the mood of this wonderful hotel.

I was slightly apprehensive to book with no Trip Advisor reviews, but this really is a stunning recently renovated property. Book without hesitation. Very clean & modern facilities. In a quiet and safe location, near Kloof street so great for exploring Cape Town. Would highly recommend. Appreciated the clothes steamer available in the room.

Laundry facilities were advertised but not available. 9 double bedrooms on the property but only 8 sunbeds available.

Elegant and cosy boutique hotel in the peaceful Garden area of Cape Town. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms, with our room having a balcony overlooking the city. Super friendly staff, always there to help, guide and make reservations. Terrace and pool has sunshine throughout the day, perfect for enjoying the simple but great breakfast in the morning, and relaxing after a long day of touring in the afternoon. The hotel is perfectly located, quiet neighbourhood, easy to go to either the city centre, beaches or winelands.

There's nothing I didn't like.

A tranquil haven yet close to all the hustle and bustle of the waterfront which is just 15 mins away by taxi. The property is beautifully curated to a high standard. Luxurious toiletries, delicious snacks and a soft robe and slippers bring a spa quality to the stay. The pool was tempting but I preferred to laze on the lounger and gaze up at the amazing view which I’m pretty sure was Table Mountain. It’s been a long time since I stayed anywhere that gave a turndown service and it was a delight to come back to a room and bed made ready for a cozy night’s sleep. I shouldn’t have been surprised really as service and care seem to be the qualities behind all the decisions. I am already planning my return visit.

I’m struggling to recall anything I didn’t like - I could mention that there were no decaf coffee options in the room or at breakfast, but there were so many other choices, this wasn’t an issue and, if I’d asked, I’m sure this would have been resolved.

Facilities are lovely, pool area in particular is brilliant. Room was comfy and clean. Staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was great and the overall stay was great. Would really recommend. Great value for money and excellent location - slightly off the beaten track, but actually nice as you're out of the business of Kloof St, but still within walking distance. Also really easy walking distance for Table Mountain too. Great all round place to stay!

Nothing really to add here!!

The aesthetic of the property was great and the ground very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The building felt secure with security gate and gated private parking. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of continental and cooked options.

Overall the property was great but a couple of things we felt were missing…a waste bin in the bedroom, blind in the bathroom (as people could see from the pool area), a full length mirror in the bedroom and some sheer curtains for changing etc. Only menial things but it would take the property from great to excellent.

A beautiful renovated house located in Gardens. A 10 min walk to Kloof St where there’s lots of restaurants and bars. Staff were very attentive and entire property was very clean. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. High level of security with coded gates and security staff on site.

Our room, a superior king room, was located in bedroom no 1 which was directly next to the door. We could often hear guests come and go which was a little bit disturbing at times.
