- amazing people/staff, they did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. We had a pizza night from Ellen and tasted other amazing food from the family. We loved them all! - the view and location is stunning - the style and interior is nice / hip - amazing comfy bed! - location wise in terms of restaurants etc: very good!!

- if was very warm in CT at the moment we were there, as we were traveling with a 2 year old, it was l 30 degrees in the room which was hard for him to sleep. They provide fans so that’s nice but a (mobile) airconditioning could be a nice addition! - we are used to a busy city so really didn’t mind the city noise :)

Absolutely beautiful property in the hip Gardens part of Cape Town, slightly upwards from CBD towards the Table Mountain. Great, ultrafriendly hosts and staff, in particular Ellen. Very comfy cottage, beautiful garden, awimming pool and opportunity to make your own pizza in the garden oven. Not to forget the dog Snuifel with whom my daughter made big friends. Close to Kloof Street full of restaurants, cafes and bars. Great place to stay in Cape Town!

All was great. Maybe the bed could be a bit longer for me as i’m 191 cm tall. ;)

The stand out positive for us was Doreen and her team on location. They couldn’t do enough for us. So friendly and helpful. Doreen is warm and loving, wanting the best for her guests when they stay. The flexibility of the room at check in and check out was incredible and made life so much easier for us. The breakfast by the pool was 10/10 and the kids loved playing in the pool in a safe, pretty and relaxed environment. Thank you.

The property was in a great location in the centre of Cape Town, and you wouldn’t know it. The only downside to the property was things got noisy on the nearby roads very early… but we were in a major city so to be expected; and in hindsight we should have taken ear plugs. So we still rated 10/10.

We are a family of five and we stayed for three nights in "InAweStays Holiday Homes". We wish we could have stayed longer. We were greeted by our wonderful host Doreen, who welcomed us with a fantastic snack by the pool, which was very much appreciated after our long flight from Germany. Our villa was one of the most stylish places we have ever been in. We enjoyed spending time there as well as in the beautiful garden with the pool. Meyer, Doreen's husband, gave us great recommendations for restaurants, which were right around the corner. The holiday homes are in a very pretty and safe area and we will defintely be back the next time we visit Cape Town.

Doreen, Ellen and the rest of the staff gave us a very warm welcome to Cape Town. Although we spent most of our time exploring Cape Town and it's surroundings, the location and room was a lovely retreat right in the buzzing city center. We enjoyed the cleanliness and privacy of the room. It had everything we needed to arrange our own breakfast and easy dinner. The cottages are located on private property and we also enjoyed playing around in the garden and the pool. Lastly we had breakfast once which was excellent!

The bedroom of our room was right next to the road so you could hear traffic quite badly. Also from the photos on booking.com it looks like the room (2-bedroom cottage) is adjacent to the pool, but it is on a different part of the property with less view

We had a wonderful time at InAweStays. The owners and the team, especially Ellen, ensured we had a lovely stay. The accommodation is centrally located in the Gardens district, near Kloof Street. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and well-maintained. The owner provided us with excellent tips for restaurants and activities several times and even helped with a nice route to our next destination. Highly recommended!

It is a real gem in one of Cape Town's most beautiful neighbourhoods. From the very first minute you feel welcome and warmly received. The property is beautiful, the rooms lovingly and very stylishly designed. The garden is beautiful with lots of little seating areas to relax in. The food is very fresh, varied and delicious. But what makes the stay really special is the friendliness and helpfulness of the landlords. Their hospitality is more than exceptional.

Lovely studio apartment with lots of windows and views of table mountain! Beautiful surrounding garden well maintained, fresh herbs and flowers .. and cute friendly cats .. had a homey feeling. Doreen was lovely to meet us when we arrived at midnight with some local snacks and wine :) and easy to communicate with them when we had any questions. She also informed us South Africa has load shedding (no electricity) at particular times and they accommodated with lighting up pathways and flash lights in the room. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Doreen greeted us with such a warm welcome. On our arrival late at night, she had prepared a light snack after our tiring day of travel. The rooms were wonderful with the artistic flair in decor was such a teat. We were so comfortable, and couldn’t believe how close we were to the shops and great restaurants. What a stunning property with gorgeous gardens and views of the iconic Table Mountain. A treasure of a property and our hosts were just beautiful.
